"C.C Corporation is done for." A man in a blue suit and dark hair swished the wine in his glass. His crooked hawk-nose wrinkled as he faced the other six.
"That tech company in New York? Wasn’t that company listed as one of the city’s top companies? What happened?" One of the six asked.
The man in a blue suit snorted. "Well, I once t one of their grandchildren and fancied them. Yet, when I went and asked Mr. Robert whether he was willing to let have one of them for a week in exchange for a business deal, he actually refused. Naturally, I can’t allow a man like that stay and act arrogantly in front of ."
Lu Chengyu resisted the urge to look at him. He knew what background the man in the blue suit possessed. He was the reigning mayor of New York City. After almost ten minutes of being completely ignored, Lu Chengyu didn’t show any impatience or irritation at being treated this way. This was normal to him.
Rather than being looked down on, Lu Chengyu felt that he was pleased with himself. Because in that room were world leaders and powerful people who could change and control the natural order of the world. And he, even if he wasn’t one of them, stood in the sa room as them.
Just this was already an accomplishnt for him.
It was definitely not sothing Ran Xueyi could dream of.
It was too bad that she refused to live in their world. She would’ve been a good seed to grow.
"How long till we arrive at our destination?"
Suddenly, a rough voice that sounded like a man who had his pipes ruthlessly ripped and a devil talking to a microphone spoke.

They didn’t respond, as they knew who the question was intended for.
Lu Chengyu lowered his head even more and answered, "We will reach the destination point in twenty minutes."
The man humd. "I guess it’s ti for everyone to relocate to the banquet hall and join the show."

The man smiled noncommittally. "Don’t worry, it’ll be a surprise."
"Alright then, we will look forward to it."
One by one, the six people left the room. When Lu Chengyu and the man were the only ones inside, the latter stood up and dragged his cane on the floor.
Once he stood on Lu Chengyu’s side, he stopped and turned his head slightly, speaking to him, "Prepare her and bring her to my room. I want to see her before I bring her to et everyone. Make sure she’s all dolled up and proper."
"I understood, Your Excellence."
The man continued his walk, and before he completely disappeared from Lu Chengyu’s sight, he left a sentence that made the other tremble in fear.
"Any mishaps will cost not only your life, Lu Chengyu."
