Almost at the mont he stepped out of the tree cavity and into the tree hole, a surge of Xunmu's power suddenly arose, causing the cavity behind him to close rapidly, with the channel leading to the tree's heart also sealing itself.
Noticing this change, Chen Mu's expression shifted slightly as he quickened his pace.

In a brief mont, his figure shot out of the tree heart's channel, stepping into the outside world.
Almost the instant he erged, the tree heart's channel behind him finally closed completely, leaving on the magnificent main trunk of Xunmu rely an almost imperceptible black dot to bury all that lay within.
Chen Mu knew this was Xunmu's doing, sealing off the passage to the tree's heart completely, effectively demolishing what the Spirit People Race called the 'Forbidden Land.' This wasn't surprising, considering Xunmu's attitude toward the Spirit People Race was rather indifferent, viewing them perhaps like a nest of ants by its side, unimportant.
And the likes of Ling Huan and Ling Ji, who were slightly larger ants that even attempted to seize resources from it, had just managed to irritate it, leading to the imdiate eradication of Ling Ji on the spot.

When the passage to the tree's heart at the base of Xunmu was completely sealed, it triggered a tremor, causing the nearby ground to shake several tis and attracting a gathering of figures.

They had fought their way there, also discovering the pathway to the heart of Xunmu, but the reason none of them entered was due to the revival of Xunmu's will, casting a terrifying and oppressive sensation over the entire massive tree, nearly suffocating them!
