254 Strength of the second prince
Khal’k furrowed his eyebrows as he heard the report and silently began to ponder on how to deal with the problem. At first, when the alliance ford, the Danites believed they were jokes and attacked. They felt it was just another race to conquer, only for them to be completely defeated by the enemy. The strength of the shaman race can be considered terrifying.
In fact, these shaman race n had so much strength and reputation that even soone like Khal’k has crossed them just once but has a lifelong worth of experience concerning them. In his battle with that mber of the shaman race, he held the upper hand but sohow the enemy managed to sever the link between him and his God familiar, preventing them from bonding for a short while.
He could be considered lucky to have escaped that battle with his life.
“It’s the alliance, so what do you have to fear? Have everyone take battle formation. Don’t forget, the shaman race may be powerful but their power is useless out in space. As long as they don’t get the chance to board, you have nothing to fear!” Khal’k declared coldly as he gave out his orders.
While he spoke with them, his cold gaze was in the dark space ahead and he couldn’t help but feel agitated. He felt like a pair of eyes were hidden in the deepest darkness of space! His gaze turned fierce as the cockpit was filled with red lights and warning images appeared all over the screen. Even without checking, Khal’k knew what was happening.
He could already see it, the asteroids all around were converging and gathering towards him as if being pushed from the other side.
Kaaaaa!
“I guess it cannot be helped!” Khal’k muttered as he nodded at his familiar deity.
As one of the six great princes of the Danite race, he possessed one of the six rumored deity familiars on the sa level as the hell cat in Alex’s possession!
.....
Clank!
Puff!
Power was quickly diverted to the seeds thrusters as it shot to the empty space. With the strange things happening, even soone like Khal’k dared not stay any longer. He felt the presence of sothing terrifying hidden within the darkness!
Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
From the Danite seed, countless missiles were launched at the teors coming in from all directions. Using the smoke as cover, the seed slipped through the encirclent and shot out from the other side, shooting back toward the Danite spacecraft without hesitation!
“Since you have co here to investigate, you shouldn’t be in such a hurry to leave!” A firm yet crazed voice echoed across the lonely space as a massive teor could be seen falling towards the seed!
Hmph!
Khal’k snorted disdainfully as what seed like an empty hilt shot into the hand of his seed and a blue light Saber blade erged!
Xiu!
Without hesitation the figure cut at the teor, splitting it in two without effort! His eyes revealed imnse killing lights as he gazed at the screen ahead of him and noticed more projectiles heading his way but this ti it wasn’t teors!
“What the hell?” Khal’k was left confused by the rusted squid-shaped creatures shooting into the world.
Right now he could see it clearly! Behind all the teors and asteroid belt was a massive circular spatial rift which seed imnsely unstable! How did they fail to notice this on their way here?
Why is it only now that he is noticing the existence of these things?
Hmph!
Khal’k snorted disdainfully fully as the Saber in his seeds arms swung skillfully, splitting the little squid bots in half! A cruel smile spread across his lips but then it vanished as he noticed the existence of sothing even more terrifying.
Looking up, he could see countless purple lights belonging to an unexplainable number of them!
“Did you think that would be enough to deal with us? We are the tide! Nothing can escape us!” The voice bood as countless of them surged forwards like a mystical ocean in the stars!
“Hmph! And I am Khal’k, the second prince of the great Danite empire! You will be the one in need of escaping!” He growled as his seed let go of the lightsaber and pulled out an energy assault rifle! While retreating, countless beams were released but even then the distance between him and the enemy kept diminishing fast!
Boom!
The seed shook terribly as countless squid shaped chas slamd into it, cashing its chest to cave in, triggering an explosion!
Blegh!
Within the seed, Khal’k paled as he spat out a mouthful of blood. Without being told, he knew he needed to act fast or it was all over.
Puff!
From behind a figure ejected from the seed almost instantly the seed self-destructed. The fierce fla spread in the form of a powerful shockwave, sending them flying back but even then more bots surged forward!
anwhile, Khal’k was on what looked like a white shell with his small monkey, spinning uncontrollably in the calm space. Within the shell, he sat comfortably in what looked like a cockpit with the small blue spider monkey on his shoulder. His eyes were on the screen which revealed more of those squid bots racing towards them through the flas.
What the hell is this?
His eyes seed cold but deep within a hint of fear could be seen. This invading cha army has no end to them, if they were to spend beyond this point then the universe is definitely at stake here!
“We will give it one more try before we leave, if even you and I can’t do it, then we have a serious problem in our hands!” The second prince said to the spider monkey beside him and strangely it nodded in agreent.
Clank!
The shell covering the duo shattered and their figure was revealed in space. The duo was like tiny ants compared to a year-old child!
Xiu!
The squid bots sward together and raced forward! Every one of them seed so eager to be the one to take this young prince’s life!
“Hmph! If taking my life was so easy, I wouldn’t have been here in the first place!” Khal’k snorted disdainfully as the spider monkey turned into a blue light and shot into his chest. Strangely, just like Alex, nurous tattoos began appearing across his body but they were all hidden within his battle suit!
Capture!
Khal’k’s eyes turned pitch black as he inhaled briefly but when he exhaled, he ended up releasing a massive wave of web, across the space capturing a large number of them like a Fisher man capturing a good number of fish with a fishing net!
Xiu!
Xiu!
More flew past him, attempting to circle them but the young prince wore a calm and confident look in his eyes.
“Since that’s the way we are playing it” He said as a thick green mist exploded from his body, spreading as far as a thousand ters around him. No matter what fell into this area was reduced to dust almost instantly! The lethality of the toxic gas was far crazier than expected and within it, Khal’k had nothing to worry about anymore.
Or at least that was what he believed.
Bang!
A loud explosion rocked the entire space as a powerful beam erupted from the spatial rift, smashing into the Green zone, penetrating and smashing into him!
Gaaaaaah!
A loud cry could be heard as his figure was recovered as it flew out of the massive beam!
His battle armor had created a blue barrier around him but the barrier seed to be fading into nothingness. His body was covered in blood with nurous burn wounds.
Without hesitation, thrusters erged beneath his boots and he began to flee. With the explosion alone he was thrown very far so it would take so ti even before they can catch him.
“Have all the forces prepare to retreat! Have a rescue team sent my way, there is an army behind !” Khal’k growled and a after brief silence a feminine voice replied.
“Our battle with the alliance has reached its peak and we cannot withdraw, if not we will incur heavy losses.... A rescue squad will be dispatched but we definitely cannot send back up!” The feminine voice warned.
Khal’k frowned and after a while, he agreed without hesitation. It didn’t matter what was ahead, as soon as he returns he would have them retreat quickly, or even better have the alliance help him out with this situation!
This was an issue that involves both sides so he felt quite confident that they won’t refuse!
...............
While all of this was happening, Alex remained within the underground chamber and focused on his cultivation. He heard a thing or two about the mbers of the culture taking war strategy classes and all that but none of that bothered him. In reality, all he cared about was his personal growth. As long as he is strong enough, only he will be enough to turn the tide of the battle.
