168 Chapter 168: Welco to the club

It was a new day and everyone had gathered for breakfast. This is sothing they have been doing for a while now and usually little beast would be sitting on Alex’s chair, waiting for its breakfast but today it wasn’t present.

Extrely heavy footsteps could be heard as Alex appeared. He was walking down the stairs with the little cat on his broad shoulder. His pupils were golden and his hair was far longer than usual, fluttering strangely. His body stature seed perfect, just like his body too. He wasn’t putting on a shirt, revealing his perfect abs and chest.

Everyone was completely stunned by the massive physical change that his body had undergone, especially his perfect skin tone which cannot be seen anywhere in the world.

“Is this the outco of practicing a growth-type secret technique?” Danny said with a slight frown.

Alex was completely different from who he was before. While his facial features remain the sa, it was upgraded to a point that anyone who hasn’t seen him for a few months won’t recognize him. In his hand, the PI watch was gone but Danny and the rest could tell he reached the S ratings.

Who would have thought a D-rated human without any deviant powers would reach the S ratings in just 2 years or less.

“I need more growth-type secret techniques.... This power can still grow... the golden statue is yet to reach its full potential” Alex said coldly. It felt like he was speaking to them and at the sa ti, he wasn’t speaking to them.

Alex seed spaced out as he sat down and cut his steak in half before throwing one half into his mouth and handing the other to little beast. Who began munching it down like a beast.

“No level of strength will ever be enough for the foe we are going against.” Alex said coldly.

“I agree but you are missing the point. No one is asking you to stop seeking power. All I am saying is you should focus on what you have already and stop looking for more” Danny said.

He believed it would be best if Alex focused on improving the power he already has, other than looking for a new source of power. For all they know, Alex may not be human anymore.

“Fair enough...” Alex didn’t deny such a request since it made sense.

His eyes seed void of emotions as he leaned forward and said;

“How does your teleportation work? I am sure there are limitations” Alex asked calmly.

“Short distance teleportation can be done but not in rapid succession. That’s why I don’t use it in battle. The more things I teleport with, the more energy it consus. That’s why I couldn’t take the flower mutant with ... Finally... there is also a matter of long-distance teleportation. It only works at locations I have been to and marked already” Danny saw no need to hide the nature of his stolen ability.

“You got this from an A-rated deviant right?” Alex asked casually.

“Yes” Danny admitted with a smile.

“Even if Wilder Briggs stands here, he won’t be able to harm . It’s ti to give the world a reason to fear the Naless” Alex said with a confident look on his face.

“We can’t use that na until we break away from the tyrant gang.” Silver said but seeing the smile on both Alex and Danny’s faces he frowned.

He thought he would have the opportunity to enjoy this quiet life a bit longer but it seems he was wrong.

Danny was gone as well, leaving the others behind. Silver wore a devastated look on his face as he tried to process what just happened.

Did they just blow him off that way?

“Welco to the club!” Jason said with a cruel smile before throwing a spoon of rice into his mouth. He seed pleased by what happened right now.

It’s nice to know that Silver finally understands what they feel. Tracy on the other hand was sad, Alex didn’t even notice her throughout the entire conversation. In his current state now, it was obvious he is too good for her.
