The two of them worked together on picking a villain to attack. When they were done, they left the apartnt together.

They walked over to the elevator and waited for it to open. The elevator ca after a few seconds of waiting.

The door of the elevator had just opened when a wave of euphoria struck their minds. The boy swooned, but the old man was fine. He was fine enough to respond to the sudden attack aid at the boy.

Kelvin had been waiting at the elevator for them to co. He hadn't attacked last night because Wrath had checked in on them and saw the old man sitting in front of the door waiting for him.

Wrath did so and told him because he had asked her for help. He was proud, but he was also smart enough to realize that he had too much at stake here.

Not only would he be fighting his first Oga, he would be fighting two of them at the sa ti. He had a lot to lose, so he had to make everything perfect.

That's why he had asked her for advice and asked her to help him make sure that his two targets were truly alone. After all, that was an important condition that he had promised himself to fulfill before attacking.

He had only ant to confirm that the two of them were alone. He didn't expect to see that the old man would be alert and ready for him. So he postponed the attack.

He waited in the elevator while Wrath scouted for him. When she saw the two of them, she inford him, so he was ready for the attack while they were not.

First, he transford both of his hands into a diamond blade and grew long, sharp spikes around himself. He turned himself into the most dangerous porcupine.

Next, he used his Mind Domination Network on them as soon as he laid eyes on them. He let them feel pleasure while he rushed at the boy with all his might.

He had put all of his power into the attack. The force he used to propel himself forward even caused the elevator to shake and groan painfully. The tal floor beneath him caved and tore open as he shot forward.

But then the Count blocked his way. His mind was foggy and his senses were being obscured by false pleasurable sensations, but that wasn't enough to stop him from responding to a threat.

The main problem was that the difference in power between the two of them was too vast.

As a B-rank super, the count has at least 10,000,000 total power. Kelvin has about 207,000 power with 17,000 in his Mind attribute.

If the Count had put only 10% of his total power in Mind, he would have 1,000,000 in his Mind. That is already 59 tis the power of Kelvin's mind.

But things are not so. As a psychic class Super, the Count prioritized his Mind attribute above all else. He put 50% of his total stats in it. So he has 5,000,000 in his mind. Stay tuned with empire

5,000,000 compared to 17,000 is just too massive. It is so massive that the boy fared better than Stella despite being weaker than her. He was barely affected because the Count had blocked most of the power that Kelvin could use with his mind.

Kelvin knew this would happen because the information about the Count's power was very detailed. Even if he didn't know before, he knew imdiately that his Mind Domination Network ability wouldn't work as soon as he had used the ability.

It is because the backlash was so much that he almost lost consciousness. If not for the fact that he had already been moving before, as soon as he attacked them with his mind, he wouldn't have been able to attack them at all.

But he soldiered on with confidence. He didn't falter when the Count blocked his way with his body. He let his weight and montum do all the work for him.

The boy was slow, so he couldn't dodge. The old man was fast, so he could dodge. But if he dodged, it would an that the boy would die.

So he pushed the boy aside while he blocked the attack. He also made sure to activate his ability to siphon life force from his enemy.

He just didn't expect the attack to be so powerful. The spikes stabbed into him first. They stabbed into his chest and shredded it before the two bladed arms cut him in half.

His eyes widened in fear as the enemy ramd into him. Blood splashed everywhere, including on the boy's face.

That didn't wake the boy up, though. He was still disoriented. But then he heard the shout of Count.

Count said one word with all his might, "Run."

Rewind wanted to sleep. His mind felt like he had just woken up. He wanted to lie back on his bed and return to sweet dreams. But then the scream cut through all the fog in his mind.

He obeyed involuntarily. He activated his ability and escaped, leaving the Count alone with the unknown assailant.

The Count was strong. He was also fast and skilled. Unfortunately, he could use his speed when he no longer had control of his legs.

The old man fell to the ground, and Kelvin fell on top of him. He fell because he had beco weak physically and ntally.

Despite all the injuries to the Count, he was still alive and well. And despite the fact that he was on his back, unable to stand up, he wasn't helpless at all.

His ability was so powerful that Kelvin bucked under the sudden loss of stamina and vitality. That, combined with the backlash of his ntal attack, made him fall on top of the count.

This put him within reach of the Counts very strong hands.
