There was an odd ssage among the cluster of useless ssages that interested him. It was a ssage from a slave asking for him to save them. They spoke at length about their situation and the reward they would give him if he saved them.
He shook his head and said, "Humans make for bad slaves. They just aren't resigned to their situations. Imagine the kind of trouble they will bring if they send this to heroes."
Then he frowned after thinking about the fact that soone sent him, whose identity as a villain is clear as day, for them to save him. They are offering a large reward, which is a reasonable motivator for him to save them, but he was still suspicious.
He touched his chin as he said, "I bet this is a trap for ."
He is not being narcissistic. Tempting a target with money is a common tactic to get a competitor. It is sothing that has happened many tis before. There are many such stories about it online.
Considering that he just read a lot of hate ssages, it didn't seem farfetched to suspect that the ssage was a trap.
Even if the ssage was real, he is not going to do sothing as stupid as linking his identity in the Tower of Destiny with an identity in real life. That's just asking for trouble. Your next chapter awaits on empire
He finished going through the ssage and swiped it aside. This caused it to collapse back into a bubble and fall onto the stack of bubbles he had opened. anwhile, the unopened ssages were still floating about.
This is the main difference between ssages he had read and those he had yet to read. ssages he had read were unmoving and in a pyramid pile. He could create a shelf to put them in, but they wouldn't float around like the ssages he hadn't opened.
He went through the remaining ssages quickly. He was yawning as it did it. Even the ssages from fans didn't interest him. Only the ones asking to et him in real life for whatever reason made him chuckle.
Eventually he said, "I don't know why I bothered to read these ssages if I am not going to respond to them."
"Actually, I did have a reason for opening them. But now I know that my curiosity wasn't worth it."
He sighed and left the tower of destiny. He saw Wrath imdiately he ca to, which brought to his mind the fact that she was the only one he could share his problems with.
She was the only one he could tell about his indecision about crippling his potential and hiding himself. She would be able to understand his problems better than anyone and might be able to offer reliable advice.
But he didn't tell her about his problems. That would require them to talk and also imply that he needs her. Those are things he doesn't want to do.
Instead, he completed the final steps of his plan by doing so more research. Then he chose a day to execute his plan and went through with it.
While he was putting the finishing touches into his plan, he was distracted by a video that had beco popular online. He was curious about it, so he decided to see what was so interesting about it.
His face beca solemn imdiately he opened the video. The video was an animation but it made him take it seriously because it showed a man who had the body of a broken doll. The man's flesh was soft and smooth, like ceramics. But it was broken in many places.
He could also see through the holes in the man's body. He saw a golden light within their body. This light was shining through the cracks and holes all over their body.
The man was wearing nothing. He was completely baked from head to toe. So he could see that they didn't have any genitals. It was smooth between their legs.
He didn't find that odd because he could tell the identity of the man from what he had seen so far. He knew them to be demigods, and Wrath had already told him that demigods could remove their genitals if they wished.
What he found odd and also caused his heart to almost leap out of his chest was the fact that their eyes and hair were green. Wrath had ntioned so much about the demigod with green glowing eyes and green fire for hair.
His suspicions were confird as soon as the man spoke. He said, "I am Manhattan, and this is a ssage for the paragon. I have been waiting for the opportunity to speak to you for quite so ti now but I don't know your identity in the Destiny Gas."
"It is good to hide your identity. There are many people looking for you for reasons other than to send ssages like I was trying to do. Anyway, I couldn't find you, so I decided to use this system to communicate with you."
"My ssage is simple. It is a ssage of a truce between you and and so others I won't ntion now. We won't try to kill you for your power anymore. We have also decided to help you if you can take back what the Patriarch possesses."
"That is our condition for corperation. If you can't do that, then you are not worthy of our help. Be that as it may, you are running out of ti. This is why a group of us decided to set aside our defenses and work together. We are not doing it because we like you."
"Once you beco a god and take your rightful choice, we will co for your head then. I am sure that you would be strong, but I believe that I will be stronger."
"I hope this ssage reaches you well, and I hope that we can work together to establish our pantheon as soon as possible. Extend my greetings to Wrath. Farewell."
