The bad news was that the two guards beyond the blast door controlling the sentry guns could already interfere in the battle from where they were. So he had to eliminate his current enemies quickly or things would beco very difficult if they gang up on him with the guns.
Unlike the sentry guns in the human farm. These ones were fewer in number and also not manned by a system. The sentry guns couldn't automatically shoot at intruders since the establishnt was supposed to accept unknown people.
Besides, his current identity was that of a guard, so even if they were manned by an automated system, they wouldn't be able to harm him. Unfortunately, they were being controlled by humans. Those humans heard the explosion and have begun to turn the sentry guns to the center of the explosion.
Black Mantis had also heard the explosion. He began to panic imdiately. He stood up and began pacing about.
He was a handso young man with a small body. So might mistake him for a harmless sweet man from how he looked. Fortunately, his eyes were clearly sinister. The frown on his face only made that obvious right now.
He said, "I knew it. I knew I was going to be attacked soon, but they all said I was paranoid. How can I not be paranoid? That's the bitch that killed the Patriarch. She is out to get ."
He roared at his guards, "Bring out the bombs. Bring out the bots. Bring out the flathrowers. Kill them all. If I am to go down, I won't go down without a fight."
The whole base was being aroused into action imdiately. They were prepared for this very situation, and now they could actually put their preparations into use.
Black Mantis was looking at screens that were showing the events of the first room. They were supposed to show the events of the first room, but most of them that should be showing the center of the first room had gone dark.
Only the ones within the small space behind the blast door where the electronic scanning was supposed to take place were still displaying anything.
"What's going on with the screen?" He asked the technician beside him.
The technician replied as he typed furiously into the system, "The fault is not with the screens, sir. The caras aren't producing any feed. They have also been disconnected from the system. I suspect that they have been deactivated or destroyed."
Black Mantis slapped his head and said, "Then get the fancy caras I paid expensive money to install into the sentry guns."
He said hurriedly, "I'm already on it, sir. Rerouting power to them in three seconds. We should get sothing soon."
Even before the caras went online, they could already hear sothing trying to breach the blast door. When the screen ca online with images of the first room, they couldn't believe what they saw.
There was blood and gore all over the place. But two things stood out to them the most. The first was that it had only been 10 seconds, but none of the guards in the room were standing.
The second thing made Black Mantis ask in disbelief, "Where are the rest of the enemies? Or is it just one guy?"
Then he began to laugh. It was an hysterical laughter caused by wounded pride.
Then he pointed his finger at the screen and roared, "Kill him for ."
Kelvin had moved into action imdiately after the bomb went off. He grabbed the guard behind him. It was a female, and she had a lot of hair. Her hair made it easy for his hand to get a good purchase of her head.
He grabbed her head and hurled her across the room towards the male guard he knew to be tricky but easy to kill. This male guard was unard because he didn't need guns. He was a physique super with a speedster ability.
He was fast both in agility and reflex. He liked to fight with knives and could carve up soone in three seconds flat. It would be a bad idea to let this man get close to his target. So Kelvin targeted him first.
The woman sailed towards the speedster like a cannon. She cried out in pain and panic. It was useless, but her current mission was not.
The speedster was caught off guard but he still dodged the human projectile. His eyes caught sight of it quickly, and his muscles sprang into action imdiately.
He was like a human grasshopper. He moved out of the way with a hop. The woman smashed against the wall behind the speedster headfirst. Her skull popped like a balloon, and she died.
The speedster was out of danger. He only got so blood from the missile that was supposed to hit him. Unfortunately, this forced him to go off balance and also put him in a state where his muscles needed to relax before they could contract again. This made it difficult for him to dodge the bullets that Kelvin shot at him soon after.

The human cannon had only been a distraction. The speedster was weak and couldn't take her on. Besides, he was twitchy, so the first thing he thought of was to get out of the way. When you add in the fact his speed was dependent on his body and he wasn't that fast, his fate was sealed.
Kelvin's shots caused bullets to form holes in his body. Unfortunately, he couldn't kill the speedster because the others interfered. He could only be content with putting the speedster out of commission.
The two n at the back began shooting at him, but their bullets bounced harmlessly against his body. They couldn't even harm the red glass armor on his body, much less his tal skin.
It was the other unard guard that was strong enough to interrupt his attempt to kill the speedster. The man glowed briefly, which caused stone to surge up from the ground and settle onto his body.
