"I’m going in." She said. The door was pushed and Ave entered carrying a trolley of food. She ca over to , poured a glass of water into a glass and gave it to , my whole body felt so sick and weak.

"How many days have I been here, Ave?"

Ave put the glass on the trolley and brought a bowl of mushroom porridge, she gave a spoon and placed a small tray on my thigh so I could eat comfortably. The hot porridge looked appetizing and slled so good. I blew on the spoon of porridge and started to eat it, my stomach was hurting too.

"You have been here for two days, sir."

I paused while chewing the food in my mouth and swallowed it slowly, "Are our RUT and HEAT overlapping again?" I scooped the porridge a second ti, I’ve never eaten this porridge. Did Ave just make it for the first ti?

"Right, oh, Mr. Ian and the obstetrician are already here."

I choked on the porridge I was eating, while I was coughing, Gruvv opened his eyes, he imdiately cupped both my cheeks with his big hands.

"Mr. Gruvv, please get ready, Mr. Ian is already here."

"Father?" Gruvv frowned, he looked at .

"We did this for two days, Ian brought the gynecologist here."

Gruvv closed his eyes and sighed. He massaged his forehead, I glanced at him and I already knew what he was afraid of. And so do I.

Ave brought the trolley out after Gruvv and I finished our breakfast, it was already eight in the morning when we ca out of the room and t up with Ian. He introduced to John, a Dhurudatta family doctor.

Ian didn’t ask any questions, he just invited to follow John into a room. John examined and asked a few questions about our crossed RUT and HEAT.

"You don’t feel anything?" John asked as Ian walked into the room, Ian closed the door. I turned to him, not understanding where this conversation was going.

"Shiloh, can I see the back of your neck?" Ian asked softly, I looked up at him, he then sat next to and I nodded. I pushed my hair aside and exposed the back of my neck, Ian touched it.

I looked at him, the two people looked at each other and smiled.

"Shiloh, doctor John, he’s an Alpha."

I looked at the two of them in turn, my head still trying to understand what happened. After I ca to my senses, I covered my mouth with both hands, I looked at Ian with teary eyes.

"Gruvv successfully marked you."

I couldn’t help but feel happy even though I didn’t rember how it happened, Doctor John explained to why I had pain all over my body when I woke up. The effects of marking usually disappear after three days, the pain throughout the body is a sign of an Alpha’s successful marking of his Oga.

"You are free." Ian said it in the softest voice I’ve ever heard.

Ian called Gruvv and explained everything to him, Gruvv turned his head and looked at before running over and hugging tightly. The suffering that had made it difficult for to interact with many people was finally resolved, although the trauma was still there, the marking made unaffected by the sll of other Alpha pheromones. That helped recover faster.

Our days went on as usual, nothing changed.

He imdiately left the room and told the happy news to all Dhurudatta family mbers, oh, quickly the news spread and everyone now knew about my pregnancy.

When I walked out of the room, Ian hugged tightly and congratulated once again. I smiled widely, at least this ti, I wasn’t alone. My son, will have a big warm family.

Oh, Seth, if only he could feel this happiness too. He will be a big brother.

Ian as well as Sage congratulated , they looked happy and relieved. We planned to have dinner together, I was happy that I could go anywhere without the fear of having another seizure. Just like , Gruvv’s sense of sll was not bothered by the sll of other Oga’s pheromones. It’s just that he is still adapting to slling other Alpha pheromones that he don’t know.
