"Listen, Dad is really dissapointed with you."
"Oh sure, tell sothing new." I said, I push the balcony window and letting the wind ruffles my hair. I reached my pants pocket and pulled out a pack of cigarettes. What Cross said was nothing new, dad had been always disappointed in for twelve years, a few more years of feeling disappointed wouldn’t make him die.
"You know what you’re doing?"
"Jerk, our main problem is to find Gil for you to finish him off. Because, since he sold his own son, our main project has not been blockage by anyone, even you and the old hag were able to take on a much larger project, isn’t that strange?"
"It’s not strange, it should be like that."
"Right, but before Gil cut down all the projects that we should have won even without submit any a formal proposal."
There was no answer on the other end of the phone, I smoked my cigarette blowing smoke into the cool night breeze. Autumn is coming.
"Gil, must have been captured or hidden by soone from another organization. I think what he’s doing is so much more than just taking on projects, clients and ruined DATTA’s na. We have been doing this for decades, is it possible that a business that has only been running for two years can ruined DATTA’s reputation this easily?"
"What do you want to say?" Cross’s voice sounded heavier than ever. Being his subordinate as well as his younger brother for so many years I only needed to hear his breathing roar to know if he was being nervous or not.
"Gil tead up with one of DATTA’s enemies. They want to take over not only the construction business, but also the business of our underworld. The underground."
"What did you find?"
I grinned when I heard that question. His reaction made even more confident that there was sothing he knew. Shit, this is fun.
"You know what you’re saying is dangerous if you’re wrong, right? Don’t you dare to make a crazy guess just because you don’t want to be separated from your Oga." Cross tried to convince and at the sa ti, threaten .
I chuckled at his words, shaking my head as I put out the cigarette.
"Don’t make up a fairy tale story, damn it. I need him, that’s the fact. But he wasn’t that important to make sacrifice so many things. He’s just here to be part of my therapy, not to be my soulmate until I die." I said, having a good laugh. My smile slowly faded and my teeth began to rattle, "you bastard and dad have too wild imagination."
I finished the conversation on the phone with Cross. I lay on the bed, my eyes staring at the ceiling. I had no intention doing more than what we have now, I was going to let him go after everything I expected back.
"Ah, I just realized I haven’t said good night to him."
I walked out of the room, Shiloh’s room door still open. After what happened back then, I didn’t allow Shiloh to close the door to his room. I was too scared of what he would do when the door closed.
I went into his room slowly, Shiloh was already asleep. His face looked peaceful, I fixed his blanket and said good night to him.
"Good Morning.." His face looked sparkle when we t in the hallway of the room, he was wearing a cream-colored shirt with dark brown fabric pants. His beautiful hair was tied using a brown ribbon as well. "Ave did it for ." He said, pointing to his hair.
"You want eat so breakfast?" I approached him and he looked up to et my eyes, I asked and walked closer to him.
"Ave made an acai bowl for breakfast, you want so?"
I shook my head slowly, "I’ll just eat rice with a side dish." I looked at his rosy lips, is he wearing sothing there? Why it looks so plumpy and rosy?
"Ah! You’re Asian, you just love breakfast with rice."
I took his hand and let our fingers touch each other. I grabbed him tightly, led him down the stairs.
"You can’t be racist." I said jokingly, he laughed.
We had breakfast in peace, Ave made an acai bowl with a small bowl. I protested but Ave knew more about Shiloh’s als than I did, he ate well and we took a leisurely stroll in the front yard before I left for work.
In the car, my lips lifted themselves while thinking about how beautiful Shiloh was. He is much healthier and better than before. I haven’t gotten to work yet but my thoughts always co back to him.
It’s almost our fourth month together, I’m used to waking up and eting him in the morning, saying goodbye and saying good night before bed. I’m used to eating together and talking about the days he went through. Of course, I’m not tell him about how I beat people to death at work.
That’s not sothing to be proud of.
Shiloh would sotis stare far and away in his own world that I never can’t to go to, he would sink into her own thoughts before coughing and vomiting, forced him back to a reality.
For , Shiloh is a mystery even though just by calling one person I can find out his past. But I want to know him more deeply. I want Shiloh to talk to about all the secrets he has.
Andrew has also found a psychiatrist for Shiloh, the psychiatrist will co from next week to the house. I hope that will make him much better.
"You’re smiling like a crazy man, gross." George said in front of the open car door.
I closed my mouth and sighed, he soti talking like he is the Boss. I got out of the car, take off my suit and put on only a regular white shirt. Shin and so of my subordinates lowered their heads to greet .
"Everything is ready inside, you can check it now Boss."
Two people opened the tal door, it creaked loudly, when the door opened a pile of wooden crates starts to show. Both ends of my lips raised wide, I approached one of the wooden crates and opened it.
"This ti the weapon is in accordance with the requests of many buyers, we also prepare a lot of bullets as needed." Shin explained while checking the tablet in his hand.
I nodded, "Great, how many people will be participating in the auction this ti?"
"Fifty people."
I smiled again, "Sure, this ti it was much more than I expected. Do background check, I don’t want any of those fifty people make a scene later."
Shin nodded.
Another business that Dhurudatta’s family have is trade weapons. The demand is mostly from different countries as well as between gangs. Only certain people know. This is the business that made Cross married to his Oga wife. His wife family had access to supply weapons from other country.
I was checking the guns when my phone rang, Shiloh’s na was on the screen, and I couldn’t help but smile after read it.
"Shiloh.." I called his na when a voice made my body freeze, that voice answer the phone instead of him.
"Ding dong! You’re wrong brother! This is your little one." Joshua’s voice ca from the phone. "Let play with your oga!" He chuckled through the phone.
I hung up the call, without talking I ran to the car, George, Shin and all my subordinates ca running without knowing what happened. They chased , my heart was racing as I closed the car door and started the car.
My mind is ssed up.
Dhurudatta family sons had their own skills. Cross doesn’t like physical fights, but he is famous for being cold-blooded and good at using weapons, he doesn’t like to fight with his bare hands. The middle child, . Like to fight with my bare hands and hate guns. There was one Dhurudatta’s son that everyone feared, Joshua. He is good at fighting with his bare hands, he is smart, he is also good at using weapons. Moreover, Joshua is famous for his skill in using an ax. Yes, his specialty is cut people into pieces. If Cross is a cold-blooded, Joshua, doesn’t give a shit about his opponent. If he wanted to, he would just kill them.
