The Wall of Origin was not difficult for a god of this level to digest.
What's more, Bardi was still evolving. A god in progress. Nothing exceeded what he could endure. Every change only brought him greater adaptability.
After completely absorbing the fundantal essence of the Wall of Origin, Bardi beca the new Origin of all things.
Not just an Origin.
He was the Origin—the beginning of everything. Matter and substance, fate and destiny, cause and effect—all stemd from his beginning.
In the past, the Origin was rely a beginning. Once set in motion, it could not be controlled, which was why previous Origins had suffered such tragic fates. The Architect sent by God used the Origin to forge all things.
All things originated from Origin.
The past Origin was only the source from which all things ca.
He had given up his own agency.
But Bardi was different. He was a god still undergoing evolution.
Beginning and continuation, both now lay in Bardi's hands.
The God Realm trembled. Bardi shouted, and the Wall of Origin, though physically gone, left behind a boundless and deep void that connected with the outside.
The boundary void.
Rumble.
The God Realm seed to drop, shattering the void.
The border void was being destroyed. The God Realm was being reshaped by Bardi.
The realm of gods was undergoing unprecedented transformation.
The omnipresent divine wave, once as essential as oxygen in Hell, surged backward toward Heaven like a receding tide.
The divine light that once flooded the realm—the radiance of Heaven, Earth, and the universe—began retreating toward Heaven.
The divine wave was imprisoned. It could no longer leave Heaven.
The very foundation of the God Realm had changed.
Gods who had relied on the divine wave for strength found it torn from them one by one, causing pain as if a drug addict were being forcefully purged.
"The divine wave is retreating to Heaven. What's happening?"
"The foundation of the God Realm has been altered!"
"It feels like the realm is falling! Who has the power to change the God Realm?"
"The divine wave has vanished. The age of being ruled by Heaven is over!"
"It's Origin!"
"He released the evil gods from the Wall of Origin!"
"The Angel Legion fled Heaven in sha. Are they going to lose?"
"Without the divine wave's influence, do we still have to obey the Covenant?"
"Maybe..."
"Shut up! Even if those forgotten, sealed gods were released, what difference does it make?"
"They're all losers!"
Soon, furious voices echoed from the seventh level of Heaven. The angels, enraged, used the Scepter of Divine Wave to instantly reassert control over the gods who had gathered in Heaven.
Those who had glimpsed hope in the divine wave's absence and contemplated escaping Heaven's vortex were quickly subdued.
The angels turned them into pawns, prepared to battle Origin to the death.
The boundary void rippled and vanished, and the Wall of Origin that once protected and confined the God Realm was no longer present.
But what the gods saw next was astonishing.
The Wall of Origin had disappeared. Looking into the distance, they no longer saw the dark red, hopeless barrier that once defined their world.
Instead, they saw beyond the Wall of Origin.
"Outside the Wall of Origin..."
"This is... the outside?"
"Impossible. That's not possible!"
"What is that white void?"
"Wasn't there supposed to be chaos beyond the Wall?"
"It looks like paper. Like a mortal's blank sheet..."
Outside was a vast field of pure white. Nothing else. Just white. So gods, using specialized divine eyes, tried to discern what it was. But the mont they looked, their entire beings vaporized. Their uniqueness was deified and erased. They vanished into the whiteness as though returned to it.
The space beyond the Wall resembled a blank sheet of mortal paper—white, flawless, unstained.
Gods don't perceive in degrees or linear dinsions. They can see across universes, ti, dinsions, front and back, up and down, round and flat, long and short—all at once.
But this white void could not be seen through, from any angle or depth. To any observer, it appeared as one thing: white. Blank paper.
Anyone who tried to peer into it beca part of it.
"This is..."
As Bardi's body adapted to the Wall of Origin's imnse information, a cautious expression overtook his face. A deep, unshakable fear began to rise within him.
Even gods from the ancient era, those who had lived alongside God, could not comprehend what this whiteness was.
But Bardi could. After absorbing the fundantal knowledge of the Wall of Origin, completing the concept of Origin and becoming the source of everything—the beginning of all concepts—he understood.
This whiteness was the Master Monitor.
Also known as Too Empty.
The more Bardi understood, the more absurd and terrified he beca.
What is the Master Monitor?
In the beginning, there was nothing. No concepts. No ti. No distance. No creator. Not even existence.
There was only One—an endless expanse of white emptiness.
That was the Master Monitor.
From this void, for reasons unknown, everything ca into being. Flaws appeared in the pristine whiteness of the Monitor's body.
Those flaws beca all things.
To be blunt, Bardi thought he was powerful after absorbing the Wall of Origin.
This wasn't arrogance. It was fact. His power now embodied the very concept of origin and progression.
But even so, he was still within the concept.
The Master Monitor was not a concept. Nor was he "everything." Rather, everything was his flaw.
The Master Monitor predates all creation. He is the source of all birth, the ultimate void before anything existed.
All forms and anings are aningless before him. The very idea of "form" or "definition" holds no power over him.
He transcends opposites. His existence and nonexistence are one and the sa. He defies ti and space, collapsing them into a singular instant.
The body of Too Empty knows no death. Anything erased simply returns to the void of the Master Monitor. He precedes all thought, matter, origin, and consciousness.
Void Essence. He is the embodint of the void, simultaneously transcending and consuming all existence.
That is the Master Monitor.
That is Too Empty.
Other gods could only see a blank expanse and feel overwheld by ignorance.
But Bardi knew.
And the more he knew, the quieter he beca.
What was he?
For a mont, Bardi felt like he understood.
It was like piercing a blank sheet of paper with a pen, and sothing leaked through.
"I always felt... different."
Bardi thought deeply, though he knew all of this was speculation.
Soon, he let it go.
Because it ant nothing. Philosophical questions—where you co from, where you're going, why you exist—they had no value for him now.
He existed. That was enough.
But then a new question erged.
By all reason, the gods of the realm should not be able to see the Master Monitor.
To gaze upon him should an irreversible damage. At worst, a complete return to the blank page.
Yet here they were, looking at it. And it was... fine?
Bardi attempted to calculate the cause and effect using the origin's information.
But everything ca back... white.
There may be events that had occurred, unseen by him.
Bardi gave up after only a mont.
Because that, too, was aningless.
"Return to Hell."
Bardi took the lead, left the border void, and descended once more to Hell.
(To be continued.)
