In a remote region on the farthest edge of Hell.

This was a place untouched by rock, lava, demons, or devils.

Barren. Desolate. Shrouded in darkness.

The scorching winds of Hell would sweep through, only to suddenly shift into a freezing gale so cold it shattered bone. The sound of it alone was enough to terrify.

In this wasteland, a mass of consciousness pulsing with demonic hope began to form.

"I'm alive again."

Trigon laughed loudly, and his demonic consciousness shook the land around him.

From within his consciousness, his divine body slowly reford.

Too weak to return to full strength, he could only take on a miniature form, standing 30 centiters tall.

This was far weaker than at his peak. The personal treasury he once accumulated and expended had been entirely consud to save Bardi through self-destruction.

Now, he was truly the poorest of gods.

But the payoff ca quickly.

Lucifer's Blessing and the chocolate statues of the Endless Family streaked across Hell like teors, flying directly toward him with unmistakable intent.

"I knew you'd need again, Bardi! You and I will fight together!"

Trigon's six crimson eyes narrowed with glee, fanged grin spreading across his face as he muttered in excitent and fervor.

This was a supre treasure he had never been able to acquire before, no matter how many resources or energies he hoarded.

Lucifer's Blessing. A gift from the forr Lord of Hell. The blessing of a First-Stage Only God.

This treasure contained the full remaining strength of Lucifer, his final sacrifice and offering. With it, even an ant could step onto the path of the Only God. At minimum, one could reach the Second Stage.

In essence, a First-Stage Only God was creating another.

With Lucifer's Blessing and his own deep foundation, Trigon was now qualified to enter the realm of the First-Stage Only God that even Yuga Khan desired.

Trigon grinned, accepting the crimson light of Lucifer's Blessing into his chest.

The blessing streaked through Hell like a cot, striking him squarely. Light flashed.

The mont the blessing integrated, Trigon was reborn from his weakened state. Like a surge of power, his divine body expanded from 30 centiters to 70 million kiloters tall. Towering above Hell, he beca a sky-piercing colossus.

Trigon cracked his neck, adjusted his form with satisfaction, and felt himself growing into the most comfortable, optimal size. Then, he received Bardi's command.

> "Beco the Lord of Hell. Strip Hell from the realm of gods."

Trigon's six red eyes twitched uncomfortably.

Who does he think he is?

Ordering around?

Trigon snorted, clearly dissatisfied with Bardi's tone.

Who was he now? The future First-Stage Supre Demon. King of Desire. Embodint of demonic nature. One of the gods of gods. Trigon.

How rude.

Especially considering—I'm still your father-in-law!

Still, as a being of desire and demonic instinct, his psychological adaptability was extraordinarily strong.

But seriously…

> "Becoming Lord of Hell? That's tough, but doable. Stripping Hell from the realm of gods? Now that's just too much. You're asking the impossible from , Trigon."

His six eyes furrowed.

Lucifer's death—at Trigon's own hands—ant the torch had been passed to him naturally.

But… detaching Hell from the Divine Realm?

Only God could co up with such a plan.

How was he supposed to do that?

> "Ugh… There's no way to sever Hell from the realm."

Suddenly, a dreamy voice echoed from within Trigon's body.

All six of Trigon's eyes widened in horror. His body froze, neck stiff. He tried to move with all his might, but he was paralyzed.

> "Who are you?!"

Trigon was terrified.

This being had no form, no place. Dreamlike and illusory, it had erged from inside him without his awareness.

His divine body had been overtaken.

An unprecedented fear gripped him.

> "Morpheus."

The voice was soft, like a sigh from a dream.

> "Impossible!"

Trigon snapped.

> "Impossible!"

> "Impossible!"

> "Impossible!"

> "Even if you're a First-Stage Only God, it's impossible for you to occupy my divine body and make explode!"

> "You can't be Morpheus!"

> "You're not Morpheus!"

> "What do you want?!"

Trigon was unraveling.

An unknown existence had completely overtaken his divine form, leaving him immobile.

At first, he suspected Lucifer.

But the voice claid to be Morpheus.

Trigon knew—whatever this was, it wasn't Lucifer.

But it couldn't be Morpheus either.

Even a First-Stage Only God couldn't control another Only God like this.

Morpheus was a manipulator—of illusions, puppets, and hearts. But this level of complete soul invasion? Impossible.

> "I… am just here to help you get rid of Hell."

The voice sighed again, dreamlike and calm.

And then, Trigon felt an overwhelming terror.

His very existence began dissolving and vanishing.

That could only an…

> I'm going to die!

> "You're not Morpheus! You're not Morpheus!"

> "I've done so much!"

> "No!"

> "No!"

> "No!"

> "You're—"

Before he could finish, all six of Trigon's eyes went dark.

He died.

His divine body had already been invaded by an unknown entity. It beca Trigon.

And then, Trigon was alive again.

His six red eyes lit up.

He raised his hand and poured divine power into the chocolate statues of the Endless Family.

No response.

> "No reaction?"

> "Why can't they be revived?"

The new Trigon frowned, puzzled, an uneasy feeling creeping into his chest.

> "Lucifer… is actually dead!"

This surprised him deeply.

How could that be?

He could feel Lucifer's blessing. It was genuine. Such a sacred treasure could only be ford by a will to die.

Over the years, such blessings had rarely appeared more than once.

Even when tortured or imprisoned, no other Only God had ever willingly ford one.

Lucifer was truly dead.

The new Trigon was astonished.

But soon, he let it go.

> "Doesn't matter."

Raising his head slightly, he looked up at the blood-red skies of Hell.

In the distance, the gods of the heavenly realm had responded to Bardi's orders and were flying in to assist the newly reborn Trigon.
