Shohō Jotaro stared at the young man in front of him, his face pale with fear and disbelief.

Everything had happened far too quickly!

One mont he was in control, and in the blink of an eye, he found himself in David's iron grip, unable to move, his life hanging by a thread.

Even Lucy, who stood behind David, was left stunned. She couldn't believe what she had just witnessed. From the instant elimination of the Tiger Claw bodyguard to subduing Shohō Jotaro, David's movents were swift, precise, and ruthless.

"Who is he?" Lucy wondered, her mind racing.

The seamless coordination and flawless execution of his attacks were almost inhuman. Even a highly augnted cyberpunk with legendary implants might struggle to replicate what David had just done—and yet he managed it with a natural body!

"Could this be... the rumored Eastern magic?"

Lucy's thoughts drifted back to David's mysterious deanor and cryptic comnts from earlier, her curiosity about his true identity growing stronger by the second.

The bodyguard who had been headshot earlier slumped to the ground with a heavy thud, blood pooling around him.

Hearing the commotion inside, the bodyguard stationed at the door shouted, "Boss, what's going on in there?"

David tightened his grip on Jotaro's neck and gave him a cold glare. "You know what to say. Don't make remind you."

Jotaro gulped and stamred, "I-I'm fine!"

The bodyguard outside hesitated. "Boss, your voice sounds... off. Are you sure everything's okay?"

David pressed harder on Jotaro's throat, his expression nacing.

Jotaro panicked and shouted, "I said I'm fine! Are you deaf? Mind your own damn business!"

"Y-Yes, boss..." the bodyguard replied, finally silencing himself.

With the imdiate threat at the door neutralized, David gestured for Lucy to follow him as he dragged Jotaro toward the darkroom.

The mont they entered, a wave of nausea hit Lucy. The tallic tang of blood was overpowering, and the dim lighting only amplified the grotesque scene.

The darkroom was like a snapshot of hell: blood-stained sheets, dical instrunts, and dismbered body parts scattered across the room.

Jotaro gasped for air as David loosened his grip slightly. "W-What do you want?" he stamred. "If you kill , you'll never make it out alive!"

David chuckled, his voice low and icy. "Relax. I won't kill you—yet. But tell sothing, Shohō Jotaro... how much do you think your life is worth?"

Lucy's eyes widened, and a sly smile spread across her face. "Clever," she thought, already understanding David's plan.

"M-My life? You're doing this for money?" Jotaro asked, trembling.

David smirked. "That's right. And you're going to pay every last euro you have."

Jotaro didn't hesitate. Numbers flashed in his augnted eyes as he initiated a transfer. "I just bought equipnt from Arasaka recently... this is all I have left in my account. If it's not enough, I can take you to my vault!"

David ignored his pleas and looked over at Lucy.

"It's 200,000 euros," she confird after a mont.

David raised an eyebrow. "Not bad for leftovers," he muttered.

Jotaro's wealth was staggering, and it was clear he had made a fortune exploiting others. But David had no interest in risking a trip to his vault. The 200,000 euros were enough for now.

"Alright, I've paid you! Now let go—"

Before Jotaro could finish, David tightened his grip again.

CRACK!

With a sickening snap, Jotaro's neck twisted, and his lifeless body crumpled to the ground.

David sneered. "People like you don't deserve to live."

Lucy watched in silence, a mix of awe and unease in her eyes. David's actions were ruthless, but there was no denying his sense of justice—twisted though it may be.

"It's ti to go," David said, turning to Lucy. "We need to get out of here before the Trauma Team shows up."

Lucy nodded. "Right. If Jotaro was a platinum mber, they'll be here in minutes."

The Trauma Team was infamous for its efficiency. High-paying clients were guaranteed dical attention within seven minutes, regardless of the situation.

David and Lucy moved quickly.

At the office door, Lucy hacked into the nervous system of the remaining bodyguard, paralyzing him long enough for David to knock him out.

The duo moved seamlessly, retracing their steps to avoid drawing attention.

When they reached the first floor of the Phoenix Club, the loud music and flashing lights created the perfect cover for their escape.

David and Lucy walked toward the exit casually, blending in with the crowd.

"Hey, little brother!" the bartender called out. "Did you enjoy the private room? Co back anyti!"

David smiled faintly and nodded, keeping his pace steady.

As they stepped outside, Lucy glanced at David. "You're full of surprises, you know that?"

David chuckled. "You've seen nothing yet."

Unbeknownst to them, Dissol, a mber of the Uzumaki gang, had been observing from the bar. He signaled to his crew and followed David and Lucy out of the club.

The night was far from over.
