"What I wish for!"

Dolio sneered and casually shrugged off his suit jacket, revealing the reinforced plating beneath his synthetic muscles. His stance was relaxed—but every nerve in his body was coiled like a spring.

This ti, however, the Savage King showed no pretense of respect or formality.

Before Dolio even set foot on the combat ring, the hulking brute lunged forward and threw a devastating punch straight at his face!

Dolio's eyes widened as he instinctively ducked and twisted to the side.

BOOM—!

The blow missed by re inches but still carried enough force to completely shatter the reinforced steel seat behind Dolio. tal crumpled like paper under the impact, sending shards clattering across the floor.

Dolio straightened, eyes cold. "Savage King, that was a little ungrateful, don't you think?"

A flash of mockery danced in his eyes as he wiped a speck of dust off his collar.

"Ungrateful?" The Savage King's face twisted into a grin, his fleshy features rippling with disdain. "You think this is about martial ethics? What idiot told you Night City has rules?"

He slamd his massive fists together, and the vibration alone made the air hum.

"In this city, the one who survives is the only king!"

No sooner had the words left his mouth than the micro-rotor prosthetics in his legs roared to life. A burst of compressed energy surged from the soles of his feet, launching him forward at lightning speed.

Dolio braced just in ti.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Their limbs collided in a rapid exchange of brutal blows—fist against forearm, elbow against shoulder, foot against shin. The sheer force of their clash sent shockwaves reverberating through the ring, each hit like a drumbeat of war.

But it was clear who held the upper hand.

Savage King's massive fra, enhanced with titanium alloy reinforcents and synaptic speed boosters, gave him an edge in raw power. Each strike of his fists was like a wrecking ball.

After only a few exchanges, Dolio found himself sent flying across the ring by a particularly brutal uppercut.

CRASH!

He slamd into the steel boundary fence with a tallic clang, skidding several feet before regaining balance. Sparks danced around him as his boots dug trenches into the flooring.

A low chuckle echoed from across the ring.

"Hehehe... You get it now, boy?" Savage King's voice was thick with mockery. "This is what a real gap in strength looks like!"

He began stomping forward, each step shaking the tal floor.

"I'm not just strong—I'm upgraded. My body's been reworked from the inside out. Synaptic signal optimization throughout the nervous system. Arms laced with titanium alloy. Spine reinforced with a Bio-Rage Type 3 neural core."

His fist clenched, chanical joints clicking into place.

"Speed. Strength. Reflexes. All of it—way beyond your league."

He bared his teeth. "So tell —why the hell do you think you can fight ?"

Dolio's only response was a cold glare, a line of blood tracing from the corner of his mouth. He wiped it with the back of his hand, then squared his stance again.

Savage King scoffed.

"And David's Team wants to partner with ? With us? Beast Gang doesn't bow to weaklings. Your little fantasy about alliances? It's just that—a f***ing dream."

With that, he activated his Bio-Rage Type 3 module.

There was a sharp chanical whine. The Savage King's silhouette blurred—then in a flash, he was right in front of Dolio, as if he'd teleported.

WHAM!!

A heavy fist streaked toward Dolio's face, kinetic energy building from micro-rotor converters in the arm.

If that punch landed, it wouldn't just knock him out. It would obliterate his skull.

But Dolio wasn't just so corporate puppet or mid-tier brawler.

In the blink of an eye, he brought up both arms in a tight cross-guard, bracing for impact.

BOOOOOOM!!

The collision echoed like a small explosion. Dolio was hurled backward again, slamming into the ring wall with such force that spiderweb cracks spread through the reinforced plating.

He dropped to one knee, panting—but not broken.

His forearms had absorbed the brunt of the blow. Hidden beneath his synthetic skin were top-of-the-line titanium skeletal reinforcents, capable of withstanding trendous impact.

Still, the sheer force of that punch had drawn blood. A jagged cut ran along his cheek, crimson dripping onto the floor.

"Heh... Not bad, huh?" the Savage King taunted, his voice booming over the roaring cheers of his gang mbers.

"Let give you a little tip, Dolio. That was just first gear."

He held up three fingers, then slowly dropped two. "I can push my Bio-Rage system to Level 3. One more level, and you'll be nothing but a red stain on the wall."

He laughed cruelly. "You think you can recruit ? That David's team can negotiate with us? You ca here thinking you had options."

Dolio stood again, a glint of steel in his eyes.

"You talk too much," he said, his voice low and steady.

That wiped the smirk off Savage King's face—just a little.

Around them, mbers of the Beast Gang who had gathered to watch the fight howled and jeered.

"Crush him, boss!!"

"Team David? Never heard of 'em!"

"Show him what it ans to challenge the King!"

Savage King cracked his knuckles. "All right. Let's turn it up."

His body emitted another burst of steam as the Bio-Rage system shifted into second gear. Veins pumped neon-blue fluid under his skin as energy surged through his implants.

Then he charged.

The ground shuddered with every footstep.

Dolio didn't retreat.

Instead, he drew two retractable batons from behind his waist. With a sharp click, electric arcs danced across their tips—non-lethal weapons in theory, but capable of disrupting even hardened prosthetic systems when used correctly.

Savage King's punch ca again.

Dolio stepped into it.

He ducked low and twisted, letting the blow graze his shoulder—then slamd both batons into the soft joint under the King's armpit.

ZAP!!

The high-voltage shock arced through Savage King's arm, montarily shorting the nerve signals.

The brute roared in pain, stumbling back.

Dolio didn't let up.

He launched a barrage of precise baton strikes, each aid at key joints and exposed neural ports.

Shoulder. Rib. Knee. Neck.

Each hit sparked with energy, briefly interrupting the King's control over his body.

For the first ti, Savage King looked stunned.

Dolio spun once more and brought both batons crashing down on the back of the King's head.

CRACK!!

The giant stumbled, his legs wobbling.

But even disoriented, he wasn't down yet.

Savage King growled, then unleashed a desperate counter-punch that caught Dolio square in the gut. Even through armor, the force was trendous.

Dolio doubled over, coughing up blood—but he didn't fall.

Instead, he twisted to the side, letting the next blow glance off his shoulder. Then, he jamd both batons into the base of the Savage King's spine.

ZAAAAP!!

The high-voltage discharge surged through the Bio-Rage core.

Sparks erupted from the Savage King's back. His limbs seized violently, and with a guttural cry, he collapsed to one knee.

Steam hissed from his joints. His breathing was ragged.

Silence fell.

The Beast Gang mbers stared, stunned. Their invincible leader... on his knees?

Dolio stood tall, bloody but unbowed.

"I ca to talk. You chose violence," he said calmly.

"You think brute force makes you a king? No. What makes a king... is control."

The Savage King tried to stand but couldn't. His systems were overloaded.

"Go tell your boys," Dolio continued, "that Team David didn't co here to beg. We ca to offer power. You just chose to challenge it."

He turned, walking out of the ring.

Behind him, the Savage King's massive fra shuddered and finally slumped forward.

The ssage had been delivered.

Beast Gang just got reminded—there are bigger sharks in Night City.
