Riddle, a forr New Arican Intelligence Bureau agent, was responsible for infiltrating Taiping State during the Netherworld Dog’s assault on Night City. He provided intelligence and logistical support, making him a bonafide field agent.
The one now using the "Rakshasa" tech sniper rifle was this very forr New Arican agent. For certain reasons, he was called back by New Arica—
It was also he who planned the cyber attack on Lille, providing the hacker Lark in the team with attack routes and hardware.
Beside her, another colleague, Alex, was monitoring the surrounding environnt. She was a dark-skinned woman with neatly combed short blonde hair, exuding a heroic air.
Both of them were now wearing Netherworld Dog combat suits, with the body of Hansen’s designated sniper lying nearby.
Clearly, the two agents had used their best infiltration skills to easily take over this sniping spot with the support of a top-notch hacker team. In the recent chaos, they silently eliminated Hansen’s other snipers and forces stationed elsewhere.
The Rakshasa’s ultra-long sniping range could easily cover Dog Town beyond the explosion range.
Such an excellent sniper, upon seeing the sudden appearance of the blue bullet trajectory from the armored Mackinaw, also sighed:
Why would such a fine rcenary choose to go against New Arica?
This effortless lant lasted less than a tenth of a second because what happened next made his brow furrow—
The opponent’s electromagnetic sniper rifle was imnsely powerful, piercing through the Scorpion-tailed Lion with a single shot!
Then dozens of mini bombs flew accurately towards their respective targets, forming a precise explosive defense layer around the vehicle. The flas completely engulfed the attacking Huangban Ninja, cutting off their external vision!
In an instant, a gigantic shield burst through the flas, red-hot Mantis Blade slashing through the smoke, dismbered blades and limbs of the Huangban Ninja scattering in the air!
Boom—
An enormous crash, and the tattered Floating Shadow started again. Simultaneously, a black shadow shot out in the opposite direction!
The movents were both fast and imposing, even making Riddle montarily overlook another shadow that had sprung out, moving so fast it was a re blur—
Would these people ever get tired?!
...
Through the flas of the explosion, the scorching breath passed directly through Jack’s nose, the heat burning sensations in his cyber-enhanced respiratory system becoming blurred:
Now, he could only feel the muscle power surging within his cybernetic limbs!
Boom!
An imnse force stomped on the ground, and Hansen, hooked to Jack, felt like he was riding a rocket:
Jack, a cyber beast, cracked the floor with his step, breaking steel bars. He could leap high as if equipped with rocket boots...
But this was based on foot power; the recoil and acceleration made Hansen’s already slightly hemorrhagic brain even hazier!
When he opened his eyes, he found himself already more than ten ters high in the air!
One step to jump this high?!
"Hansen!"
Jack lifted a shield, and two thermal Mantis Blades chopped down on the polyr shield, a strange odor bursting forth!
Hansen was tossed hard behind Jack, and as he regained his senses, he saw two Huangban Ninjas attacking from behind. He imdiately activated Si Anweishean Shooting!
Bang!
A series of bullets shot out, two hitting one of the ninjas directly, exploding the bullets instantly. But Hansen had no ti for the other ninja!
Fortunately, at this mont, Jack’s waist twisted, flinging them around like a large windmill—
Hansen stared intently as the thermal Mantis Blade aid for his chest ended up grazing his ribcage. The extre heat instantly burned his skin, muscles, and bones, but he survived!
He gritted his teeth, spinning in the air, reaching for a new magazine from his ammunition belt. After all, he rembered that Jack was facing two more Huangban Ninjas!
But when he finally turned around, he saw the two ninjas had already been sliced in half—
V had also reached the rooftop, still in a blade-wielding pose...
Hansen was shocked, but his trained mind kept him in combat mode, imdiately firing to hinder more approaching ninjas!
Everything happened in an instant: Jack carrying Hansen jumped over a ten-ter-high building, V using magnetic equipnt and Spider Silk to wall-run, and ultimately the three of them combining here to carve out a position!
The Huangban Ninjas were repelled by Hansen, and the three of them leaned against the rubble-made cover...
Whoosh—
The Scorpion-tailed Lion Floating Car descended rapidly, Susan aid a rocket launcher but had no chance to fire:
The still-smoking Mackinaw Floating Shadow remained activated, crashing fearlessly past!
Boom—
The Floating Shadow replaced the Scorpion-tailed Lion, hovering outside the building. V shot out Spider Silk, catching hold, and the floating car imdiately ascended. She even had ti to flip the finger at the retreating Scorpion-tailed Lion!
"Ti to hit the road, hang on tight!"
Jack called out to Hansen, then leapt high again!
This ti, Hansen was prepared: This guy could jump over ten ters high; was he even human?!
In his daze, his combat prosthetic eye quickly calculated Jack’s mobility. Soon, Hansen hooked Jack noticed these data matched so legends perfectly:
The Lizard Man that appeared in Company Square had this kind of mobility!
Before he could think further, a shadow enveloped his face...
He realized that Jack didn’t use his jumping ability to escape imdiately but had jumped towards the barely controlled Scorpion-tailed Lion, smashing his shield into its engine!
The floating car imdiately flew wildly in one direction, Susan Frist on the car threw away her rocket launcher, grabbed a safety lever with one hand, and reached for her handgun with the other—
Jack gritted his teeth through the high-temperature black smoke from the engine, closed his eyes, and roared:
"Hansen!"
How could Hansen let this chance slip?
On the shaky floating car, Susan Frist and Kurt Hansen, one current New Arican Special Operations Commander, one forr New Arican Special Operations Commander, simultaneously drew their sidearms—
Bang!
...
The Scorpion-tailed Lion’s loss of control forced the Huangban Ninjas to risk their lives trying to catch up but found no entry point.
This vehicle, modified to deploy thermo-baric bombs, after Jack blew up an engine, operated under overload for about ten seconds before finally exploding during a high-speed spin!
No one knew who won the draw just now.
In the Floating Shadow, Lille felt his brain about to be churned by the recent battle and the current flight.
"Jack!" V had just climbed up, urgently calling, and then turned around, "Lille! Jack has crashed!"
"He’ll be fine!!" Lille shouted back, "Hold on! We are crashing directly into Little Beidou!"
Massive car-body attitude control data stread through Lille’s brain: The Floating Shadow had already significantly deford. In this state, the electromagnetic signals surging through the air could penetrate the armor directly impacting Da Mai.
Soon, the Black Wall would take over all equipnt, launching an unimaginable remote attack on Da Mai—
So now, Lille was using his brain to assist in calculating and controlling the car, covering Da Mai to continue operating under the Black Wall’s shield. This was a high-load task!
Bang!
The side doors slamd shut, and V hit a protruding part to seal the car as tightly as possible...
They were about to charge into the still blazing ruins, ramming directly into the Little Beidou facility!
But as Lille was about to finalize the charge route, his world began to distort and deform rapidly—
For him, using brain-machine overclocking to push Si Anweisitan’s power to the limit almost had the real world and cyberspace glued together.
The data, routes, and reality intertwined. Only through clear logical reasoning could he distinguish reality from cyberspace and perform dual operations.
At this mont, the two worlds in front of him genuinely twisted together—
A vast black and red wall surged toward him like a tidal wave!
