"Enemy attack!"

Full-spectrum jamming is a type of electronic attack that does not distinguish between friend or foe, emitting strong signals across a wide range of frequencies to disrupt all communications.

Theoretically, this thod of interference, with enough energy and sufficiently complex technical equipnt, had the capability to completely block all wireless communication signals!

One of the functions of these mini signaling devices had now been revealed:

They could turn the communication situation in the entire area back to the Stone Age!

The Brain Demon Gang was extrely confident in the assassins they had ambushed here, creating a Duel Arena with no network assistance asures for these assassins!

All wireless synchronization like visual sharing had completely lost connection, while the invisible attackers who had long been hidden in the walls revealed their weapons!

No...

They had attacked even before Jostar began to show signs of noticing!

The blade had already reached a position less than 10 centiters from the group, "Enemy attack," was the last signal Lille sent to them.

All four reacted at the sa ti, the quickest to respond was the active defense system: mini bombs at the back of the power armor were still activated, but it was V who combined reaction and movent fastest.

The Octopus Arm had just activated, the mini bombs had just been ejected from the chamber, and she was already pushing off powerfully with her feet, using the launching chanism of the Mantis Blade, both Armor-piercing Alloy Steel blades tracing arcs in the air!

Jostar was the slowest to react; his eyes widened, his knee joints rotated backwards, and his whole body fell backwards—

Click—

The active defense system launched the bomb.

Jack slightly crouched, as the blade was already closing in on him.

The Octopus Arm completely missed the target, but the long chanical arms severely restricted the assailants’ room to maneuver.

What was most shocking was that V’s Mantis Blade, contrary to everyone’s expectations, caught the completely invisible enemy in the air, blades clashing!

Boom!

Flas and shockwaves suddenly erupted, with fragnts of blades, limbs, and blood splattering everywhere!

Optical mimicry is an expensive and precise technology, but shockwaves, flas, and close combat made this technology slightly unstable, revealing eight blurry figures in the air!

Eight Full Body Cyborgs!

Hisss—

The blades of four enemies were deflected, failing to penetrate the weak parts of the power armor, instead sliding off the surface, the screeching noise echoing through the corridor!

Their eyes filled with shock and confusion: Why?

Why had they all reacted?!

And...

Shattered bits of alloy floated in the air; as it turned out, the blades of the two partners who attacked Lille and V had fractured!

In the fast-moving world, this slight hesitation turned into a massive vulnerability.

Jack’s gauntlets aim to the sides; they had no choice but to retreat.

But because of the doubts and surprise about the broken blades, the actions of the two concerned slowed for a mont.

The long Octopus Arms clung to the walls, swinging powerfully like ropes, completely blocking their path of retreat, with V’s deadly Mantis Blade still maintaining a swirling stance!

Lille slightly lowered his head, swinging the two Octopus Arms to just create a diagonal space for V.

It was this space that left the two slow reactants unavoidable, forced to confront—

Boom!

The two gauntlets fired 24 Shellless Bullets simultaneously, the sound booming like cannon fire!

The lethal bullets spread like a shotgun, blasting off a whole chunk of wall on both sides!

Clop.

Two seconds passed, Jostar was just right lying on the ground, his shotgun began to charge.

He numbly watched what fell with him: the bodies of two n chopped into four parts, two huge chunks of wall.

The residual heat from the single shot heated the gauntlets slightly red, faintly glowing in the darkness.

V swung the Mantis Blade, reflecting a glimr of light on the blade as the Octopus Arms retracted from beside the two n.

Jostar numbly sat on the ground watching all this, not even noticing that his shotgun was already charged.

Also, a small piece of his chin had been shaved off, a little slower and he would have been dead!

And the attackers, after completing one attack, had once again returned to the shadows.

"Damn..."

Jostar was stunned.

The enemy wanted to create a Duel Arena, but did they know if their gladiators were really as formidable as they had imagined?

So far, not so much.

Bang.

As Jostar, still dazed, watched the three brothers continue to advance, he shot one of the enemy’s heads on the ground that was not yet dead—

Not firing when charged could damage the lifespan of the barrel.

"Damn," Jostar said after shooting, not forgetting to reload, "That was aweso."

"Don’t just sit there..."

Bang!

Before Lille could finish speaking, a huge isolation door suddenly descended from mid-air, smashing the head of another transhuman who hadn’t had ti to finish them off into a pancake.

"Uh..." Jostar panicked, quickly going up to knock on the door, "Hero?!"

Unfortunately, the isolation wall was quite thick, no sound could get through.

But at the sa ti, the wall to the side began to slowly rise...

A seamless hidden door.

Jostar swallowed, "When God closes a door on you, he opens a hidden door... this door is not for the faint-hearted; mbers of the Vortex Gang aren’t afraid of the Brain Demon Gang’s weaklings!"

Having said that, he loaded a bullet into his gun and stepped into the hidden door.

....

"What’s the situation?"

Jack shielded the front, taking a brief look behind.

Lille’s eyes flashed with an exaggerated blue glow: he was checking if there were any unblocked communication frequencies.

"Don’t know; the original target might have been to split the four of us... Keep moving forward, we can only hope this kid is tough enough."

Only Jostar hesitated for a second, falling behind by an inch or two, and the isolation door ended up isolating just him.

That’s the only way to think about it.

Whizz—

V wiped his blade behind them, "Really sneaky, and not slow either, your head was almost split in half."

The sparks from the blade faintly lit up the nape of Lille’s neck: his neck wasn’t hurt, but his hair had been neatly sliced off in a patch.

The mimicry used by these people was quite advanced, not just prosthetics implanted in the skin, but complete, customized for full-body prosthetics.

By the ti Lille noticed sothing was off, the six ahead had already made their move...

He hadn’t actually noticed anything amiss until the airflow from swinging the blade had dangerously stirred.

You could say... they were just unlucky?

But when they were prepared, they weren’t that formidable.

[Little Octopus: Big brother, V’s speed seems a bit beyond expectation, about a two-millisecond deviation.]

Huh?

Lille glanced at V; in the dark, V’s cheeks were intermittently visible in the sparks from the blade, even carrying a slight smile...

If you didn’t know him, you’d probably be scared to death.

[Lille: ...Let’s talk when we get back.]

"Jack," Lille said, "Make bigger moves."

"I was thinking the sa."

Jack chuckled, his massive fist directly lifting the floor—

The recent assault had failed to detect those attackers because their body temperature, exhaust, and other potential exposure indicators had been adjusted optimally for an ambush.

But such high-end full-body prosthetics inevitably generate heat once they move.

Power Armor cos with military-grade thermal imaging.

Perhaps full-body prosthetics continue to manage heat, but what if Jack advances like a bulldozer, do they hide or not?

This is a narrow dueling arena—

A heavy tal floor plate was effortlessly lifted by Jack, crushed into a long strip of red-hot tal under the high temperature of his fist.

Grasping two freshly twisted tal rods, Jack snickered.

"This should be quite relieving."

Bang!

The long rods swept in front, and suddenly a heat source reaction appeared on the left wall!

The enemies’ invisibility gear was indeed formidable, such vigorous action only caused a slight rise in temperature in a small area:

Clearly, so sort of insulating material also wrapped around the body—

Unfortunately, even the strongest insulating material cannot completely isolate heat.

A slight change in thermal energy was enough to be detected.

As for why it can’t fully isolate: completely losing the ability to dissipate heat would likely cause soone to stop functioning first in such intense fighting.

Boom!

His scorching knuckles fired shots, forcing that individual to dodge again, making the heat source even more obvious; although Lille couldn’t see clearly, Little Octopus imdiately blocked the passage behind him!

The space beca cramped, and V appeared last, his arms wielding Mantis Blades swiftly slashing at the tiny area, engaging in close combat amidst the chaos!

V might not have seen very clearly, but this contact was enough:

If the enemy paid careful attention, they would notice a cable linking V’s arm to Lille’s third Octopus Arm.

Full-spectrum blocking would completely disable wireless communication, a large-scale communication jamming asure that does not discriminate between friend or foe.

Just now, Lille had confird that the range of frequencies blocked by the enemy was indeed quite broad.

aning, not only were they unable to use wireless communications, but so were the enemies.

But "Data Knife" hacking could be switched to a wired mode.

With no potential external servers to act as traps, Lille could totally dominate the assassins on the scene.

An invisible enemy in the air parried V’s Mantis Blades, relying on invisibility to deflect the force, but as he was about to retreat and wait for an opportunity to strike, his prosthetics suddenly paused for a mont, and the mimicry, like a malfunctioning billboard, turned into a mosaic all over!

A huge mosaic appeared in the air!

Bang!

The bullet exploded the mosaic’s head.

Blood splattered, the other hunters in the dark suddenly laughed when they saw Jack and V.

In that mont, they suddenly realized a terrifying but likely true fact:

It wasn’t that these three were locked in the duel arena.

It was that they were locked in there with these three.
