As an electronic life form, the Zola project was initially intended to transfer consciousness into electronic devices using a device called the "Consciousness Register."
Unlike the Soul Killer from the Cyberpunk World, Zola had no assistance from the "Yihara-Bragg" protocol to help realize its vision.
He skipped this step entirely.
This was a testant to Dr. Zola’s wisdom, but it also ant he was not invincible in the network world because he had barely encountered any rivals in this realm!
To a great extent, Lille’s current state was completely equivalent in form to this electronic life form, with no so-called technological gap!

Zola wanted to escape; it was the first ti he had seen data movent on such a scale!
He lacked the corresponding technology, and in his eyes, it was as if the ctOS system had rebelled, effortlessly crushing his hack; the data streams which were useful monts ago now had turned into unreadable, chaotic currents!
He couldn’t understand what had happened!
But he couldn’t escape!
His consciousness retreated through circuit after circuit, quickly leaving the ctOS system, arriving in the tangled network of New York...
Then he felt his consciousness crash into sothing.
So incredibly potent information barrier had locked onto his escape route, intercepting these currents carrying information that symbolized his consciousness.
And the changes in these intercepted currents and coordinates, at this mont, seed to construct an octopus tentacle in his consciousness...
No, if perceived from this perspective, it was... it was a giant octopus!
There was an octopus in the network!
Zola, like an investigator strayed into a horror world, had his imagination sparked anew by Lille’s network attack, beginning to understand pieceal what Lille was doing...
It was terrifying!
Lille stood atop the Little Octopus, directing it to release a data recognition sonar—
The octopus’s tentacles pulled at the data within this electronic space like marionette strings, gently tugging...
The entire space was like the calm sea surface suddenly having ripples!
The ripples screened out the coding groups Zola used to monitor the entire world, one by one red nodes appeared within Lille’s perception...
All were Hydra’s surveillance nodes planted within the network, Lille had just collected enough of Hydra’s communication frequencies!
However, an unexpected event occurred:
With the slight modifications from Lille and the Little Octopus, these fluctuations would search for similar signals on the internet, then diffuse again at the tracked signal nodes, repeatedly searching—
Maybe because Hydra had planted too many surveillance nodes around the world, the fluctuations surged wave after wave with the wireless internet domains, eventually spreading across the entire internet!!
The ripples in the chaotic internet environnt eventually evolved into waves, then beca a tsunami!
The tsunami swept across the entire internet!
Even Lille was shocked by what was happening right now on top of the octopus!
He had rely constructed a sonar similar to the one used by the Dragon Hunter according to the network surveillance’s approach!
The detection sonar was only a probing program ant for targeting enemies, yet with Lille’s "slight modifications," it ran repeatedly in the chaotic internet.
Interfered with by various programs and computers—
When the changes reached a certain degree, they beca uncontrollable and unobservable, terd as chaos.
Chaos turned normally harmless programs into extrely destructive fluctuations within the network!
At the sa ti, all of Arica’s internet faced obstruction and collapse due to this cyberspace chain reaction!
The data waves caused by the chain reaction also washed over the hackers in cyberspace, scattering them!
But Lille rode the octopus, inherently ant for survival in the vast ocean—
In contrast, Zola was like a human who had just learned to swim, capable of easily dealing with novices in a calm lake, but utterly incapable of resisting the tidal waves!

The servers in the bunker violently exploded as Zola blew up his own communication servers, severing external communication!
In the pitch-black bunker, exposed wires sparked, illuminating the shattered screens.
The bunker fell silent.
At that mont, many external servers where Zola resided also burned out, with countless mories lost with the damaged servers.
To a hacker...or rather, to a digital life form like him, human cognition would fall into a massive decline.
And the human mind’s protective chanism in such a mont was to black out.
Zola shut down.

Lille had considered that combat in the network environnt of 2076 might differ from the internet environnt...
But such chaos could not be foreseen or controlled; he seed to have opened a can of worms.
Before he could continue his thought, his nose caught a pungent sll—

"Boss! Boss! Can I go in to put out the fire?!"
This voice sounded like that boy Christopher...
Lille looked up sharply to see the room filled with black smoke and flaming machines!
The two octopus arms behind him unplugged the fire extinguishers and started putting out the fire furiously—
"Get in here! Don’t use water!!!"
