They nodded their heads vigorously in response.
I opened my storage bag and stored them all away.
I looked at the system alert in front of . ,

[ Fusion Compatibility: 20% ]..
The first six rabbits that I had cybernetically enhanced were soon about to reach full compatibility.
And the newly enhanced rabbits had reached 50% fusion compatibility after seeing their loved ones, whom they thought had already died.
I didn’t regret bringing them all out for this occasion.
"Let’s return. I’m done training for the day."
Felix transford into his Swift Horned Panther Jet form.
I hopped onto his back, tired.
We soared into the skies and quickly disappeared into the distance.

As I erged from the dungeon, I didn’t see the Dungeon Services Nurses sitting around at the corner this ti around.
When I returned to the location of my battle with the four descendants of the Windcrest Clan, I didn’t see their bodies there.
I realised that my assumptions were correct; soone had indeed been watching .
The Dungeon Services Nurses must have taken them to the hospital, given their absence.
I was in a good mood, no longer having to exchange awkward glances with them every ti I erged from the dungeon.
I returned to my dorm room.
Just as I was about to insert my security key, I noticed a student walking out of the corner of the hall in my direction.
I didn’t recognise him. He might be a low-ranker from another Class given his unrecognisable ace.
I gripped the handle of my blade as he passed by behind .
I extended my senses, preparing to knock him out and pull him into my room if he tried attacking , to uncover who had sent him.
However...
Huh!
A brown envelope slipped from his pocket and landed on the ground beside as he walked by.
I frowned.
Has news already spread that I defeated four descendants of the Windcrest Clan? Has it already caught the attention of other nobles who wanted to contact in secret?
I waited for him to enter another corner before I picked up the envelop.
I didn’t see a na on it.
I scrutinised it with my mana first to ensure that it wasn’t a trap.
I opened it.
I pulled out the paper from within and spread it open.
[ To Ezekiel Zahara,
I want to speak with you. This is my server ID, ’MidnightFire.’
Whenever you are ready, send a ssage with a ti that suits you best for us to et. The quicker we et, the better. My request won’t remain open for long.
Sent by the leader of the Star Auction Auditorium. ]
As I read through the ssage, I felt weird that soone had gone out of their way to contact. However, my expression froze when I saw the sender’s identity.
Chioma Okoye! The top-ranked Berserker of the Class Two Berserker Departnt Ranking!
I doubted if Sarafina had ntioned anything to her, but as her favourite student, there was a chance that she already had an inkling of what was going on.
Still, she must be wary of reaching out to , since she hadn’t used her real na. Or perhaps she had a reason for doing so.
I couldn’t help but ponder why she suddenly contacted to speak with privately.
Has she realised that the Descendants of the Zahara Clan were the ones responsible for her current dilemma?
Does she want to form an alliance with , a neutral party and soone who was more familiar with them?
If I et her, I will be closer to completing the quest and clearing my na.
But at the sa ti, I was worried that Sarafina might be plotting behind the scenes to pull out.
Since we would be in the VR world, my safety was ensured, but I didn’t want to confront an instructor.
There was no helping it.
I risked losing a lot more by not eting with her.
The only decision to make now was whether I should create a new avatar or use the ’theGreatOne01.’ Before deciding, I walked into my room, went to the bath, and then satiated my hunger.
I put on my VR headset and entered the Grand Avalon Academy Server.
I reappeared beside the familiar fountain.
I logged out of my current avatar account.
If our eting went well, this wouldn’t be the first ti we’d t. To avoid jeopardising the connections I had built with this avatar, I created a new avatar.
The avatar creation process was simple. I picked a random dark skin character, dressed in the Grand Avalon boy’s uniform.
-Na - theWorstOne.
I went with this since my identity was going to be exposed.
Also, it would make contacting her easier.
I opened my ssage tab, typed in ’MidnightFire.’
When her na showed up, I sent her a friend request.
Within fifteen minutes, she accepted the request.
A ssage ca through.
[ Sent by MidnightFire(Reputation: 2000) - That’s an odd na to use. I hadn’t expected you to have such a unique sense of humour. If you don’t mind, then we can et right away.
At this location, ’Grandel Restaurant.’
Show this to the waiter when you arrive. [Invitation card.] ]
I hadn’t expected to gain such an enormous amount of reputation points from her.
It already surpassed that of my previous avatar.
The location was a hangout restaurant.
It was an academy-backed VR restaurant where students could buy real food that could be delivered to any location within the academy.
It was for those who preferred not to eat in the cafeteria or didn’t have the ti to do so.
It was also one of the popular spots on the server to hang around for this reason.
I clicked on the invitation card icon.
A blue card, streaked with gold line across its surface.
A VIP card.
A VIP card from Grandel Restaurant could only be bought with rit points. One of its services was free food on any of its nus or a reduction in al charges.
The cafeteria offered a free daily al, three tis a day, and could be taken at any ti that day for commoners who couldn’t spare any rit points or money.
When compared to those outside who had to work tirelessly for food, the life within the academy was a luxury.
A noble institution for students with noble backgrounds.
This was one of the reasons why many desired to gain admission into it.
Despite the hand I had been dealt with, being born in the Zahara Clan, I was grateful at least to have been reborn in a noble clan. Life as a commoner was sothing I couldn’t even fathom.
[ Alright. I’ll be there soon. ]
I sent a response.
I received a reply almost imdiately.
[ Sent by MidnightFire(Reputation: 2000) - Okay. I’ll be waiting. ]
I put away my ssage tab.
Since this was a new avatar, the city’s layout isn’t yet registered on its map.
So, I had to take a transport to arrive at my destination.
I’ve never liked these requirents, but I understood that it was a restriction to prevent students from flooding the server with multiple bot accounts. So the academy was probably never going to get rid of it.

-Mobshot: Omg! I just received information that the Worst One has defeated four descendants of the Windcrest Clan. One of them is currently ranked eighteenth, while the others were ranked in the top thirties on the Class Three Magical Swordsn Ranking.
-Swordbee: I heard it too, but I’m still uncertain about whether this information is true or not. In fact, I find it hard to believe it is.
-Silent Edge: It’s been verified by my nurse. She said that the Class Three Dungeon Service nurses carried four unconscious bodies resembling the descendants from Class Three on a stretcher into the hospital.
She was unable to get any more information before their nurses took them away to the ICU.
The one who shared the information with the Dungeon Service Nurses was Milas. They won’t dare lie on his na, and from what I know, he’s also trustworthy as long as you don’t piss him off.
-Fist of Flare: My goodness. Didn’t the Worst One just recently defeat Jaran Windcrest and claim the position of Class Three third-ranked Magical Swordsman?
-GhostHaze: All five descendants of the Windcrest Clan from Class Three were defeated by the Worst One and sent to the hospital. Do you think that the Worst One is targeting the Windcrest Clan’s descendants due to his feud with Jaran?
-Laggingspeed: He won’t dare provoke the Windcrest Clan descendants. Maybe he’s trying to stir up commotion to distract from the issue with Ivory. I still don’t know why the Disciplinary Committee hasn’t taken action yet, or why he’s allowed to continue attending classes.
But he’s unknowingly dug a pit for himself. Because now the Descendants of the Windcrest Clan in Classes One and Two will surely co looking for revenge.
