444: Chapter 398: Cat and Mouse Ga_2 444: Chapter 398: Cat and Mouse Ga_2 Finally, Mireya and Lu Jing arrived at the office of Anberly, the leader of the Righteous Army.

Lu Jing knocked on the door, and the over-fifty-year-old Anberly, who was behind the desk, was inputting one docunt after another into the terminal, while simultaneously responding to questions from various front-line war zones, determined to ensure that the Righteous Army executed a swift and decisive interjection.

He was the highest guiding officer of the Righteous Army and almost its sole creator.

He proposed that technology should serve people, not capital, and advocated the use of resolute military force to break the dominance of corporations; now more than ever, he was unstoppable, commanding the Righteous Army to take over one corporate city after another.

“Hello…please note that visits require an appointnt,” Anberly said displeased.

The guards inside the room imdiately stood up, ready to see the visitors out.

“Good afternoon,” Mireya poked her head in and glanced at them; both guards instantly ceased their movents.

Mireya had controlled their minds.

At this mont, a new ssage lit up in her Digital Mind, revealing that Spiritual Fire could no longer control those two brats, and she needed to settle things quickly, before 101 and 102 discovered the truth.

“Let’s tear the Righteous Army apart,” Lu Jing stretched lazily.

“Indeed,” Anberly nodded, while rewriting the report he muttered to himself, “A divided Silla is a good Silla, whether it’s the establishnt of a new anti-corporation nation or Modern Entertainnt regaining its splendor, it’s a scenario Miss Lu would not want to see.”

Under Mireya’s control, Anberly, the leader of the entire Righteous Army Command Committee, tore up the previously drafted strategic plans, replacing them with a series of military commands riddled with flaws.

He deliberately spread the Righteous Army’s forces thin, reallocating main forces to less pressured defensive positions while concentrating the newly recruited militias and poorly trained units in the most brutal war zones.

He directed valuable fighter aircraft into enemy territories with ample anti-air firepower and forced the elite armored units of the Righteous Army to launch a suicidal offensive on Yidu City.

In addition, he prematurely instigated dormant units to rise up before the right ti.

Mireya’s control wasn’t limited to Anberly himself, but also extended to several other mbers within the entire committee building.

With the orders from Anberly, accompanied by the handwritten letters, signatures, biotric codes, and electronic stamps of other committee mbers, the front-line troops, despite their reservations, had no choice but to comply rigidly, as to do otherwise would be to act against the entire command center of the Righteous Army—a betrayal of their cause, which the proud mbers of the Righteous Army found utterly unacceptable.

Smiling, Mireya continued to have Anberly instruct officers to levy supplies with absolute severity, conscript civilians, execute prisoners of war with cruel thods publicly, drive away those who ca to join willingly, and more.

Moreover, she ordered a purge within their own ranks, subjecting their mbers to long periods of reflection and scrutiny.

And the most important point of all:

Anberly printed out a list of all the Righteous Army spies infiltrated into Silla and presented it to Mireya with both hands.

Wow, these Righteous Army spies really put in the effort, advancing to key positions within the corporations, Mireya thought as she looked at the list in her hand.

If she handed this list of nas to Li Minhuan, all of them would have their brains dug out, dying for the cause they believed in.

Mireya nodded in pleasure, recorded them all in her Digital Mind, forwarded them to Spiritual Fire, who would then secretly send them to Lu Sizhou.

With this list, Miss Lu could extort a handso sum from Modern Entertainnt.

Mireya also had Anberly take her into the core information bank of the Righteous Army, where she accessed all the top-secret intelligence.

The entire army had no secrets from Mireya; she knew everything, including Wei Shiyue’s return to the Shiyin Grand King Cave and Anberly’s deal with the Phantom Company.

It turns out that the dragon that affected the battlefield that day was just an illusion, delighting Mireya with its novelty.

What kind of magic power was this?

“Very good, very good,” Mireya repeated, “It seems I still have quite a lot of work to do here.

Ah, there must be a way; I’ve thought of another interesting strategy.

You issue the commands; I definitely do not want to do such cruel things.”

“Dig up Wei Shiyue’s corpse and send it as a gift,” Anberly nodded.

“All right, I need to deal with the sisters now,” Lu Jing turned around and hurriedly left the committee building.

Lu Jing carried a bag full of energy cells back to the hotel where the foreign guests were staying.

As soon as she entered her own room, she saw 102 and imdiately glanced at the area where the containnt device was stored—thankfully, it was still safe.

“Where have you been?” 102 asked anxiously.

“The Righteous Army’s logistics departnt,” Lu Jing showed 102 the bag in her hand, “Spiritual Fire needs these.

You have no idea how poor these Righteous Army guys are.”

102 looked out onto the street.

The atmosphere of the city had suddenly beco odd; officers, soldiers, and workers were being mobilized for no apparent reason, and this aningless shuffling was causing them to grumble in discontent.

More terrifying orders were being issued one after another, each one more shocking than the last, but one in particular sent chills down the spine: the Righteous Army, in order to raise military funds, was preparing to excavate the remains of Wei Shiyue from the Dragon Tomb and sell them on the intercontinental market!

This made 102 break out in a cold sweat; it was too outrageous.

102 felt extrely tense, No, don’t do this, she thought.

How morally corrupt must soone be to do such a thing, 102 lanted internally.

To treat a comrade-in-arms, once fought alongside with, as a re trade commodity—if word of this got out, the entire Righteous Army would implode instantly.

But 102’s identity as a Guardian ant it was not her place to criticize the actions of the Righteous Army.

“They’re irrational,” Lu Jing said to 102, “Let’s go, I still have to deliver sothing to the Spiritual Fire.”

102 followed Lu Jing, feeling troubled.

“Why would you bring Mireya, a ticking ti bomb, into the delegation?” 102 asked, “She’s so cunning; what if she escapes from the coffin?”

“She won’t,” Lu Jing chuckled, “I am a holder of ‘Anti-Magic Power’ after all, there’s no way Mireya could control .

Unless Miss Lu locks up and forces to look into her eyes.

But why would Miss Lu do sothing like that?”

102 felt a chill; Lu Jing seed much more clever and crafty than she rembered.

Where had the simple, kindhearted Witch gone?

“I’m going,” 102 said with her head lowered, as she walked away from Lu Jing, feeling out of place.

“Going where?” Lu Jing followed behind 102, “Are you scared?”

“I’m scared,” 102 admitted, “It’s too dangerous.”

“…You’re not particularly smart, are you?” Lu Jing laughed.

“Don’t push ,” 102 stopped and turned her back to Lu Jing.

“Push you how?” Lu Jing teased, “I’m just stating the facts, aren’t I?

You might have a strong body, imnse strength, but you don’t have extraordinary wisdom.”

102 took a deep breath.

She looked up and Lu Jing suddenly sensed a change in 102’s deanor.

She raised her hand to release her Anti-Magic Power, but 102, swift as the wind, disappeared in front of Lu Jing.

Lu Jing turned sharply around, but before she saw 102, she slipped and was brought down by a kick.

102 pinned Lu Jing from behind and locked her arm around Lu Jing’s neck.

“In July last year,” 102 pressed coldly, “Heavenly Cardinal Manufacturing lost three pieces of Nanoter Armor in Aizu City.

What were their models?”

“I…” Lu Jing opened her mouth but couldn’t speak.

“Mireya, you’re making trouble again,” 102 sighed lightly, “Lu Sizhou has even put you to use.”

“So what?” Lu Jing sneered, “What can you do about it?”

“Believe ,” 102 said seriously, “you’ve caused trouble this ti, and no one can save you.”

Imdiately afterward, 102 knocked out Lu Jing and quickly walked outside.

Mireya!

I will dig three feet into the ground to find and kill you!

At that mont, Mireya was in the committee office, leaning back in a swivel chair with her legs crossed.

She was casually swinging one leg with a high-heeled boot placed on the desk, watching Anberly, subdued like a slave, with satisfaction.

After being threatened by 102, she slowly got up and walked outside.

These female beasts always have a way of being brought to heel.
