Honma Noriko has already t her deserved fate.

Xu Yang properly handled the aftermath, letting everything be covered by the barren wind and snow.

He also established a breeding ground more suitable for Honma Noriko’s physique, allowing her flesh to complete so necessary tasks.

After resolving all this, Xu Yang flew into the air, cruising at the bottom of the atmosphere while reconnecting the world signals.

"Has Honma Noriko been dealt with? Master?" Lila asked.

"Yes, and from this height, I can see that the Giant Tower Plan has taken effect. As Idith filled the Lundinium Big Clock, fourteen Giant Towers reconstructed the Great Purification Barrier, dispersing the fog. The monsters inside are exposed to sunlight and purified one by one," Xu Yang said, overlooking the ground from high above.

The rampaging alien creatures were being defeated one by one, with the campaign to reclaim lost human territories launching worldwide. This thriving image of reconstruction was much better than in the past.

"It seems only the secret base of the Yousu People remains to be conquered," Lila remarked.

"Did you find it? The base established by the Yousu People’s remnants on our planet?" Xu Yang’s heart stirred.

"Yes, Master, it’s on the Splendid Highlands of the White Elephant Continent. They left a large base there, tirelessly deciphering our civilization’s secrets, developing unknown technologies. There are frequent occurrences of abnormal energy waves," Lila warned.

"The Yousu People, once a great race cruising the Starry Sea, make their existence intolerable. It seems it’s ti to drive them out. I wonder if they are willing to negotiate, after all, they were also slaves of the Galaxy’s Envoy." Xu Yang mused.

"Strangely, the Yousu People’s base originally had frequent outgoing signals and extrely terrifying high-energy consumption projects, but just two weeks ago, shortly after the end of the divine war, all signals disappeared as if an electromagnetic hole, which is how we were able to locate it," Lila explained.

"Understood, I’ll go handle it." Xu Yang calmly replied.

"I wish you success, Master." Lila supported Xu Yang as always.

With her behind him, Xu Yang felt imnsely reassured.

The Yousu People summoned the Galaxy’s Envoy, which originally existed during the Big Bang and had no ability to extend to the present day. However, the Yousu People manipulated ti to summon it as a strategic weapon, severely underestimating the threat it posed to the entire universe, resulting in a disastrous backlash.

After the Heavenly Tribulation, so Yousu People survivors participated in the planetary attack as slaves of the Galaxy’s Envoy, releasing fog and altering the terrain, showing a desire to conquer and control human civilization.

Now, these parasites must also be extracted from the ground, and Xu Yang took action personally!

The navigation route took Xu Yang to the central-southern region of the White Elephant Continent, to the rainforest-filled Splendid Highlands—far from any human settlent, desolate with a scorching climate.

The terrain displayed an extre dichotomy—either lush forests completely covering primitive roads or barren wastelands devoid of any vegetation.

Xu Yang hovered in the air while drones forged form-fitting Exoskeleton Armor, making him more like a precise technological machine body.

"Lila, I’ve arrived. There’s a rhythmic pulse signal emanating from deep within the Splendid Highlands, as if released after my arrival." Xu Yang cautiously conversed with Lila.

"Yes, Master. These Yousu People remnants seem to be welcoming your entrance. Indeed, it was only after your arrival here that the Yousu People’s base restored its ’vitality’." Lila assessed.

This ancient race capable of faster-than-light travel and ti manipulation was actually inviting him into their secret base?

Xu Yang felt very suspicious.

After the Giant Tower Plan materialized, the planet’s native repelling power beca extraordinarily strong.

Alien interferers like the Yousu People would quickly disintegrate, just like the monsters they created, with no hope remaining.

At this mont, Xu Yang had little concern. Even if the Yousu People laid a trap, he was confident in breaking through it.

"I’m going in." Xu Yang transmitted.

"Please be careful, Master." Lila was always attentive to Xu Yang, sharing his vision and watching for any threats in the surroundings with great care.

The main gate wasn’t open. Xu Yang scanned the mountain structure and decided to enter through a natural rock fissure, which seed to be used by the Yousu People as a ventilation shaft.

He descended into the darkness along a narrow tunnel, confronted by large exhaust fans, and thus utilized precise drones and nano-machine swarms to clear the path.

Like piranhas, they could devour entire chanical devices and tal parts in seconds, deconstructing them to the molecular level and recycling the materials.

Xu Yang didn’t hastily descend but observed the interior structure of the Yousu People’s base.

The main body of the base was hollow, with massive tal and black rock fras surrounding a central huge lectern or projection device, with over twenty seats arranged in a ring around it.

Strangely, each seat held a giant shadow, insect-like or ant-like, with complex limbs hanging down from slender bodies, segnted tentacles spreading from the head like sea anemones.

These were silent Yousu People, seemingly awaiting sothing.

"I detect an unusual wiring structure in this base, where all energy appears to be drawn from the surroundings to power the central machine." Xu Yang analyzed.

"What kind of machine needs that much energy?" Lila shared Xu Yang’s scan data, astonished at the concentrated energy level within the Yousu People’s base—approximately 10 trillion joules, equivalent to detonating 100 nuclear bombs, rely to ignite this apparatus, with subsequent activation demands unknown.

"What intrigues more is how they obtained so much energy. It seems their underground pipelines, like a spider web, resemble deep-sinking tree roots, extracting energy from our planet itself," Xu Yang closely observed.

"Yes, Master. Based on your deduction, I recalculated our planet’s total energy supply, confirming a 7% loss of geothermal energy, which will lead to consistently dropping temperatures in the future," Lila validated.

"...Indeed, the Yousu People have stolen sothing crucial from our planet, placing fog regions to have biochemical creations collect energy to activate the giant device in the base," Xu Yang carefully noted.

"Master, I have received your scan of the machine. Its technology vastly surpasses our current achievents, estimated to take another 1,000 years to preliminarily understand its fundantal principles," Lila calculated.

"Yes, Yousu People’s technology shouldn’t be underestimated... but the pulse signals they emit seem to have ulterior motives."

Xu Yang felt suspicious and re-analyzed the mysterious pulses from the base.

Many abnormal signals initially misunderstood as white noise, upon his recoding, were found not to be random fake signals but systematically generated codes, aid at guiding Xu Yang to recalibrate the base’s pulse energy.

Using his precise chip, Xu Yang cautiously tuned the pulse energy, subsequently discovering the central "lectern" suddenly starting to flash.

"Is it about to extract geothermal energy? The planet will freeze." Lila was wary.

"No... its energy reaction is rather weak, seemingly a very simple-functioning machine, rely testing my calculation ability. Passing the test would trigger it autonomously," Xu Yang carefully observed.

Under the light, the shadowy figures of more than twenty giant Yousu People were revealed in detail.

—They were all dead, or completely desiccated, appearing solemn and rigid in death as a blend of cephalopod and arthropod—like countless chitin sculptures.

In the central projection appeared a Yousu Person with limbs wrapped in white ribbons, its mouthparts opening and closing, trailing its bloated abdon behind.

Xu Yang compared it with the deceased Yousu People present, quickly identifying it as the foremost, possibly an Elder or leader type.

"Welco, human," the Yousu Elder nodded towards where Xu Yang was hiding.

Already discovered? Xu Yang heard and no longer hid, leaping down into the base center.

He looked up, seeing the Yousu Person standing tall, while the central Yousu Elder hologram looked down, shimring.

"Hello," Xu Yang greeted.

"You may consider as an AI, an intelligent entity capable of conversing with you," the Yousu Elder said.

Its countless tentacles and flagella frantically trembled at the sides of its head and neck, as if their vibrations were another form of communication, like human body language.

The luminous energy barrier rippled and moved around the "central lectern," with the surrounding Yousu bodies remaining silent, as if their souls had ventured into unknown realms.

Had these Yousu People collectively chosen self-destruction? What kind of ritual was this? Xu Yang pondered.

"You can converse in our language without barriers, aning you’ve understood all of our civilization’s technology," Xu Yang said in a deep voice.

"Yes, we had to, observing your technology to assess if you could complete our unfinished Mission. We had no intention of stealing your technology; tell , would you steal the technology of primitive tribes?" the Yousu Person replied.
