Chapter 1022: Chapter 807: Arranging Lu Sizhou_2

“I’ve said it before, I’m saving her. I think Lu Shibo will inevitably target Xiao Lu sooner or later. That’s why I often interacted with Lu Jing, promoted her to be a green-clothed maid, and most importantly, sent her to the Northern Archipelago, far away from Lu Shibo’s clutches.” Lu Sizhou spoke slowly.

“You’ve always treated her like a disposable tool for your missions, haven’t you? It was like that before, and it’s still the sa now.” Xu Yang shook his head.

“I can’t help it. Right now, I’m Lu Jing’s umbrella of protection. If I fall, she’s dood as well. So, Lu Jing has to serve —it’s only fair. Lu Shibo won’t allow Lu Jing to live peacefully or investigate her parents’ deaths. Even Lu Kanyan’s death served as a warning to others. Since then, no one has dared to publicly say sothing like, ‘Lu Shibo only got this far because of the Dragon Gate Mansion’s power.'” Lu Sizhou’s voice turned cold.

At that mont, azure quadcopter drones flew in from outside, filming with their mounted caras.

Lu Sizhou quickly stood up, glanced at Xu Yang, and flashed a relaxed smile. “They’re here for , to form an alliance?”

“We’ll see.” Xu Yang moved back toward the Divine Radiance.

After the drones, two lightweight drones erged from the mist, unloading several Tian Que Attendants as they descended.

Seeing these elite security personnel, Lu Sizhou’s expression visibly relaxed.

“Co here, all of you!” Lu Sizhou commanded loudly, and eight Tian Que Attendants swiftly moved to her side.

Alongside them were over a dozen ard personnel who began unloading supplies from the drones, attempting to set up a temporary reconnaissance camp.

“Now that my forces are here, you can show so respect, right? Mr. Xu, without support from Heavenly Cardinal Manufacturing, you won’t last here.” Lu Sizhou crossed her arms, regaining her usual composure and solemnity.

Xu Yang checked the condition of the ard personnel.

Besides the enigmatic Tian Que Attendants, the other soldiers gave him a strange impression, as if they had an ulterior mission. They deliberately kept their distance from Lu Sizhou and focused on their tasks, as if their orders were more important than her safety.

“What do you an, ‘your forces’? Do they even take orders from you?” Xu Yang intentionally prodded.

“You, jump down.” Lu Sizhou casually pointed at one soldier.

The soldier glared back at her.

“Wait—” Xu Yang raised his hand. “Is this how you treat your subordinates?”

“…Which unit are you from?” Lu Sizhou asked softly. “Still the Faraway West-16 Unit?”

“Yes.” The soldier reported.

“Lu Naiguang has beco so ambitious, sending you here to undermine . He really isn’t afraid of stepping on him, huh.” Lu Sizhou shook her head with a faint smile.

“Lu Naiguang was reassigned days ago. Yan Qingyun now oversees Unit 16.” The soldier reported.

Xu Yang’s heart stirred. Yan Qingyun? A cousin of Yan Huarou.

He knew Yan Huarou was the Dominator Witch. She and the Yan Family supported each other: the family shielded Yan Huarou from the hardships other witches faced, and she used her imnse power to expand the family’s corporate influence. Their wealth and power were intertwined. By now, the Yan Family was deeply entrenched in the Heavenly Cardinal Manufacturing Group. Yan Qingyun, as a mber of this vast family, had no obligation to respect Lu Sizhou.

Realizing these soldiers were loyal to the Yan Family, Lu Sizhou instinctively stepped away from this “company army.” Nearby, a Tian Que Attendant raised their hand to stop her, preventing any reckless actions.

In an instant, Xu Yang saw an expression on Lu Sizhou’s face he had never imagined before.

Pleading… no, begging.

She lowered her gaze toward Xu Yang, a blush spreading across her perfect face.

“Help , Mr. Xu,” she whispered.

Xu Yang felt no sympathy for Lu Sizhou and decided to let her suffer for a bit.

Unexpectedly, Liu Tianshi acted first.

Liu Tianshi wanted to protect Lu Sizhou. His fan-shaped turbines whirred to life, sending his carbon fiber Taoist robe flapping in the artificial wind. With two golden flying swords, he struck at the crowd. The soldiers did not hesitate—they imdiately fired upon him.

Bullets whizzed toward Liu Tianshi’s shield, steadily diminishing its defense.

Xu Yang thought to himself, This won’t do. If Liu Tianshi falls, then Lu Jing’s recovery is dood.

“Wait!” Xu Yang raised his hand. “Please, give so face.”

The soldiers and Tian Que Attendants paused, turning their attention to Xu Yang.

“…Why should we? Who are you?” the lead Tian Que Attendant asked.

“My surna is Xu,” Xu Yang replied, pressing the “remote control” Yan Huarou had given him as an ergency asure.

Several electronic cultivators descended from the Vermilion Purple High Platform. Without disturbing the seated ditators, they silently passed through stone corridors, arriving at the outskirts of the Waterfall Cave and bowing in greeting.

Lu Sizhou glared fiercely at one of the cultivators.

“Are these cultivators enough?” Xu Yang asked darkly.

“Not enough.” The Tian Que Attendant raised their main battle rifle. “Mr. Xu, chanical cultivators may be powerful, but we do not fear them.”

Xu Yang turned toward the Divine Radiance and gestured. The Star Weaving Lady tactfully activated the shuttle machine’s weapon systems, releasing advanced hovering cannons that ascended into the air, forming a firepower net with no blind spots.

“Is my shuttle machine enough?” Xu Yang asked.

“Not enough, Mr. Xu. It seems you really want to fight us, but battle is the last thing we fear.” The Tian Que Attendant replied coolly.

Xu Yang nodded to him, then signaled toward the shuttle machine.

The Storm Princess erged from the shuttle machine.

She raised her hand toward the Weak Water Waterfall, and the pale cascade was instantly seized by whirlwinds, forming seven or eight massive waterspouts. Wearing an indifferent expression, she glared at the dozens of soldiers.

Should they make any move, she would unleash the storm-driven Weak Water, flooding the entire cave and annihilating everything!

Storm Princess! The Tian Que Attendants and other ard personnel present were deeply shaken.

The infamous Dominator Witch, unmatched and unbeatable.

“Now, is this enough?” Xu Yang asked.

“…It’s enough, it’s enough.” The Tian Que Attendant backed away.

Challenging Mr. Xu? They truly didn’t have the ability.

Lu Sizhou stepped forward, staring at one of the cultivators under Xu Yang’s control.

“It’s that one! It’s the one that used the Art of Divine Prediction in public to say I would replace my father. So it can be remotely controlled? The prophecy was fake!” Lu Sizhou quickly turned to Xu Yang. “You’re the one controlling it? You’re a clever scher, aren’t you.”

The cultivator, draped in bright yellow garnts and covered in talismans and scrolls, wore a manic expression.

Xu Yang shook his head.

“The remote isn’t mine; soone else gave it to . My guess is your father arranged everything to back you into a corner. If you were in the civilized world, acting as chairman of your alliance enterprises, your father couldn’t control you. But when this cultivator publicly declared, ‘A beauty obtains the pearl, and the kingdom changes hands,’ you were put on the spot. You had to launch a ‘Dragon Slaying Conference’ as per the prophecy, attempting to invade the Dragon Gate Mansion for a desperate coback. But you hardly had any allies. The only person truly willing to help you—Lu Jing—was sent to a deadly mission by your own hand. As for yourself… you’ve been completely orchestrated by your father. Lu Sizhou, you’ve always looked down on your father, but as it turns out, you’re far too inexperienced. Ridiculously inexperienced. For your father, dealing with you is as simple as squashing an ant.” Xu Yang sighed.

After analyzing, Xu Yang realized that Lu Shibo was a terrifying man. This whole plan had completely ensnared Lu Sizhou in her own trap. She had once been highly likely to depose Lu Shibo and beco leader of the group, but now she had fallen to this state!

Hearing Xu Yang’s words, Lu Sizhou’s breathing grew heavy, though her expression remained eerily calm.

Xu Yang knew this was the first ti Lu Sizhou had felt disappointed in her own abilities!

Heavenly Cardinal Manufacturing would always belong to Chairman Lu Shibo, as long as Lu Sizhou failed to conceal her fangs. She was dood to fail.

“Ah, so that’s how it is… Mr. Xu,” Lu Sizhou said softly.

“Enough chatter. You have no cards left to play.” Xu Yang replied.

“Not entirely.” Lu Sizhou stepped closer to Xu Yang, nearly face to face. Her hand gently adjusted his collar. “What if I said I’m willing to be your woman?”
