Zhu Qianying was still hesitant about telling Ji Huan that her father wanted to “offer” Xiao Yu for sale. Yet a few days later at noon, she once again received a call from Ji Huan.

“Yan Han, what a coincidence, are you and Mr. Qin having lunch here?”
Zhu Qianying’s gaze moved from Yan Han to Qin Xiu who followed him and was standing beside the table.
Yan Han gave no answer, and Qin Xiu smiled and nodded to Zhu Qianying, “Yes, Yan Han and I just happen to have finished our al here. We won’t disturb you, I’ll be leaving first!”
Zhu Qianying bid him goodbye and watched him leave the coffee shop. Then she shifted her gaze back, eting the inquisitive black eyes of Yan Han.
“I asked what you are doing here?” Yan Han asked with irritation once again.
Zhu Qianying muttered ‘fuck’ in her mind, but her face still held a smile, “I was planning to et Xiao Yu’s boyfriend here for a discussion, would you like to join us, Yan Han?”
Yan Han kept staring at her, obviously, he didn’t believe a word Zhu Qianying had said.
Zhu Qianying didn’t try to explain any further. With her understanding of Yan Han, no matter what she said, he wouldn’t necessarily believe her.
She calmly drank her tea, quietly awaiting Ji Huan’s arrival and the truth to be unveiled.
Not long after Yan Han sat down, Ji Huan arrived.
Zhu Qianying waved at him, Ji Huan hurried over, under the sharp gaze of Yan Han, which shifted from Zhu Qianying to Ji Huan.
Ji Huan seed oblivious to Yan Han’s hostility, extended his hand, and greeted Yan Han with a smile. “Hello! I’m Ji Huan. If I’m not wrong, you must be Yan Han, right?”
Yan Han sat in his seat, looking at him sideways with no intention of moving, ignoring his hand completely.
Ji Huan, being cold-shouldered, paused slightly and extended his hand a bit more, adding, “I am Zhu Qianyu’s boyfriend!”
Only then did Yan Han raise an eyebrow and slowly reached out his hand to shake Ji Huan’s, “Yan Han, nice to et you!”
In his mind, Ji Huan was anxious for Zhu Qianying. Could she really handle such a possessive man, who clearly has no intention of hiding it?
Zhu Qianying caught Ji Huan’s worried gaze and guessed his concern. She winked at him and smiled, “Ji Huan, sit down! I guess you want to talk about so family matters with . Yan Han was just passing by and he wouldn’t mind joining us, right?”
Ji Huan shook his head, “I don’t mind. In a way, Yan Han and I share the sa standpoint.”
Zhu Qianying just smiled without responding, raised her hand to call over the waitress, and each of them ordered a drink and so snacks.
Ji Huan briefly explained about Zhu Zhizhou coming to confront him at his base, “He was extrely arrogant at that ti. To punish him, I pushed him hard when he tried to hit . I guess, his hand might be broken.”
Zhu Qianying nodded to show that she had already heard about the incident, then Ji Huan continued to speak.
“Ying Zi, I might have been a bit impulsive then. I didn’t think about your and your mother’s positions, is your mother okay?”
Only then did Ji Huan realize that Chen Jing, who was currently in the Zhu’s residence, might have beco the target of everyone’s anger.
“It’s okay. Right after you called , I had a friend pick her up. She’s safely situated outside now. She doesn’t know about this, and I don’t intend to tell her.”

“Yeah, who doesn’t know that Xing Bailun is your good buddy?”
Yan Han’s words made the atmosphere sour.
