I have no idea what creature this is. I had never seen it, I have never fought sothing like that. It was so alien to the rest of the ga, to all I have found so far, both in ga and here.
And it is holding Kathrine like a puppet, trying to tease , taunt .
Her eyes are blank, but I can see she is alive. I can save her, I know I can.
I will not allow myself to live if I can’t.
Aurelia casts her Buff spells on the two of us.
The creature drops from the ceiling, still holding my friend in the air.
"That thing... I have no fucking clue what it is, but it devours people’s minds... The mast ti I fought one it overwheld by stealing my teammates." Aurelia explains.
I put on the pants and boots I had found before.

No matter. They must have good stuff. I have no idea what, but their effects are there, they are working. I just cannot make sure what it is without constant testing or identifying.
Its giant eye is locked on .
The creature swings a tendril against when I finish the item check.
I throw my body to the side in an attempt to dodge. It gets my leg
I have no ti to react as I am grabbed and thrown to the nearest wall.

I feel the air escape my lungs when my body hits the wall. It was a powerful impact, taking a good chunk of my HP. And it just threw , it was not a direct attack.
I stand up as quickly as I can.
Aurelia didges a tendril and cuts it with her scythe.
"I got you you fucking bastard!"
She jumps and takes a big swing. "AHHHH" She screams while attacking.
But two tendrils catch her from the side. The creature is faster than her. She drops her weapon.
"Shit, Aurelia!" I scream and run towards them.
Another tendril approaches her from her front.
"Let go you piece of shit!" She screams while fighting against the hold.
The tendril in front of her aims between her eyes, and becos a sharp needle.
I have to act fast.
I get in position and...
"[Wind cutter]!" I scream. Unnecessarily, but I am rushed and anxious.
Three blades of wind leave my hand and fly towards the tendrils. Two miss, one hits the one with the needle.
[Your Wind Blades hit ???’s tentacle! It cuts it! It is barely scratched (-975)!]
I cast again. The blades fly in a dance and manage to hit the other two tendrils, cutting them also!
The eye moves towards .
I take a step back, ready for the next attack.
I need to think! Spells are barely damaging it. It must have good magic resistances or sothing like that.
It has to be weak to sothing!
Another tendriel shoots at in diagonal.
"Don’t get cocky, you fucker!" Aurelia cuts the tendril with her scythe, causing the creature to squeal.
"My attacks are doing shit! Any ideas, mage?!"
"What elents are your weapons?"
"Fire and Chaos."
Not even the most rare elent is doing enough.
"Cover , I will see what works."
Aurelia starts to cover from the attacks. I use my spell repertoire.
She cuts every tendril that cos my way. She gets hit and thrown, but stands up. She avoids making the sa mistake that almost made her another victim of the creature.
Fire... Wind... Electric... Ice... None of the elents I have works! They all cause less than 1000! And we are not closing in causing enough damage!
All my hits either hit the body or its eyelid.
I see Karina twitch. More of the black good is pouring from her eyes.
Like it’s taunting ...
Just give her back!
I cast [Inferno] once more at the eye.
"Watch it!" Aurelia says and dodges my spell. I almost hit her.
"Amber! Be more careful!" Karina scolded . "This thing has taken half my HP already!"
Easy for you that you don’t have to fight...
If she could be useful in so way... It doesn’t seem we are making progress attacking it.
"Stop thinking this is a ga!" Karina screams at .
"And what else can I do?!"
"It has a giant fucking eye! Attack it!"
"I did!"
"Not open, dumbass! Use your scroll of light or sothing!"
What nonsense! The scroll of light all it does is illuminate the room you are on, nothing else! It shoots the light in all 8 direct-
A realization hit . Real life has more than 8 directions...
I take out the [Light] scrolls and read the sigils. I am praying that I am right.
One the tendrils hit Aurelia and penetrates through her skin.
"Aagh!"
She screams in pain as she gets thrown close to .
[You read Scroll of Light! It shines brightly!]
From the scroll an almost blinding light. I close my eyes imdiately when it goes full.
And I hear the creature screech in pain.
I open my eyes when the light is gone and I see it thrashing in pain as its giant eye is crying from the overstimulation of light.
The scroll works differently from the ga! Here it managed to damage the creature!
[??? Eye was hurt from the bright light! It is blind! It is Moderately damaged (-12756)!]
I don’t have any more scrolls or light spells...
"Ah!"
I see how the tendrils holding Kathrina are giving up!
I run towards her as what I fear happens. They drop her.
From that distance she can be damaged!
I have to catch her!
A tentacle swings randomly at .
"Fuck off!" Aurelia screams and cuts it with her scythe!
She is smiling intensely and her eyes are bloodshot.
