"Let’s go!" I say and turn towards the door.

I am not going to stay to see what is coming through the wall. That would be stupid.

"Wait for !" Karina screams.

"You can float and teleport to the sword!" I yell in response.

I make my way quickly and reach the door, and I open it.

BVROOOOOOOM!

The wall gives up and falls.

What I see coming from the wall, moving through the settling dust of dirt, is a Giant Worm.

[ Giant Carnivorous Earth Worm found you!]

No shit!

Is the dungeon boss! I am not fighting it!

I go across the door and I hear the thing screaming in a loud "WROOOOO" sound or similar and jumps. I look back for just a second to see Karina in its way and get caught, while the Giant Worm crashes against the wall.

"B-bloodless!" I yell.

Then she appears beside .

"Oh..."

She was paralyzed in terror. "I-I saw my life in front of ..."

What life?!

"Let’s move!" I repeat and begin to move once more

I run through the corridor. The worm crushes its way through another wall to follow us. A giant maw, a circle full of teeth and a deep entrance drooling in saliva, is moving towards us.

"Please, Ellen, let my next holder be a decent person!" Karina starts to pray.

"Don’t kill just yet!"

Bosses for each dungeon are usually random. You can find a certain the, and you can expect certain types of monster depending on the type of place, it is not always the case.

This dungeon seems like an old castle or structure with pink and purple slabs of marble plastered in every place, old and full of cracks.

These rooms were probably part of an old structure with those characteristics.

And we keep running from the beast, worried that we might get chown down by its massive rows of teeth.

And I am faster...?

I see we are gaining distance. I turn a corner and manage to keep running. My best bet is to find the stairs to the floor above us and see if we can escape.

So I keep running and gaining distance.

I am praying we don’t find any monsters.

Then we find ourselves in what seems like a grand hall. Instead of marble, the floor is made of a crystal-like material. I don’t give it too much ti to observe.

The other features I manage to see in my run are pillars, a statue. I pass by a fountain with flowing water... and a chest! I need to go see what is inside it!

And at the end, crossing through the whole place, another hallway.

Maybe if I cut another corner I will miss the worm.

I look back.

CRASH!

It breaks through the fountain in its chase towards us.

"Shit! Are we even worth the energy it is wasting?!"

I ran into the hallway. A corner in front of . I run through it.

"Ah!" I scream in surprise.

I find a wall, no doors, no other passage. We ran into a dead end!

"Aaahhh! Quickly! Turn around!" Yell Karina.

But when I turn, I see the worm crashing against the wall and getting right in our only way to escape.

"Shit!" I yell.

There is no way I can beat a level 30 boss with Bloodless Level!

My MP reached 56% at this point... probably good for 1 spell...

I don’t have [Teleport], and that spell cos with its series of issues. [Magic Shield] probably could save from a couple of hits. But that would be it.

"Use Teleport!" Karina says.

"I don’t have it! That spell just throws you randomly and has killed more often than needed!"

If I die I just respawn, don’t I?

"Do sothing! There are no respawns here! You die, you are gone!"

The worm is getting closer.

It is moving slowly, like it knows we are trapped and it is playing with us.

I grit my teeth. I am not dying if I have sothing to say. If I respawn or not, if I am sent to another world or not, I am not going without attempting anything, even if desperate.

I take the [Mossy Scroll] from the inventory.

I open it and read the magic words written on it. Runes and sigils written in old tis to give a single use of a spell. I don’t know what it does, but I risk it. I was dead anyway.

Once I read the final word, the piece of paper burns in my hand and is completely gone.

[You read the Mossy Scroll!]

The worm lunges at us!

[It was a [Summon Ally] scroll!]

CRASH!

A blinding light appears in front of us. The worm writhes in pain as the energy hit it to push it away and makes it retreat until it’s back in the corner.

I swallow when I see what I just summoned. The scroll had a [Summon Ally] spell. Is a rare one that can appear on any dungeon level, but extrely difficult to find.

I see a woman in front of , crouching. Her red eyes look at and slowly gets up. Her long black hair fell on her back. When she stands up, two long scaly wings start to stretch behind her and a long tail swings, crushing the floor with weight.

Two horns decorated her head.

She is not wearing clothes. Scales cover the important parts of her body.

I just summoned a Dragonkin.

"I was about to get a nice pound... who are you two, why am I here?"

...I feel I just interrupted sothing important she was doing... and she is looking angry at us!

"Ah... well, gacha powers?" I say, feeling intimidated.

She tilts her head at my response.

The worm lunges at her with a loud guttural scream from within, drooling in saliva.

She stretches her left arm back.

"[Inferno]" she says a series of magic words and runes, and from the palm of her hand, a cone of fire shoots and covers the whole corridor where the worm is!

[ Giant Carnivorous Earth Worm is surrounded by Aurelia’s fire! It burns to a crisp (-49202)! It is dead!

The boss of this dungeon is dead!

A chest appears in its spot!]
