After a while, everyone woke up and gathered for breakfast. Our family of five sat together—Father, John; Mother, Elina; my two sisters, Ada and Oge; and .

As I lay there, my thoughts began to wander. A depressing realization hit —they probably didn’t have an indoor bathroom, even though they had an indoor kitchen.

From what I had observed, the house consisted of one large room and two smaller ones. The large room served as the dining area, kitchen, and storage space, with two doors leading outside and to the other rooms.

Breakfast itself wasn’t quiet.

Everyone talked and joked lightly, and I had no trouble understanding their conversations.

Imdiately after breakfast, everyone sprang into action with the energy of super humans, heading off to their daily routines.

Mother moved into a wooden rocking chair and left there.

I spent my ti watching carefully, looking for anything abnormal, but found nothing. Life here was ordinary—just like back on Earth. No magic, no strange powers. Daily chores and washing were done normally. They were just regular people.

From the rocking chair, Mother later picked up to feed . The whole situation felt absurd—a young man trapped in a baby’s body, drinking milk from a young woman who might actually be older than in age.

Life to couldn’t be funnier.

Thankfully, I couldn’t feel arousal. Otherwise, I would’ve been exposed as a grown man pretending to be a baby.

It didn’t take long before familiar notification characters appeared in my vision.

[Daily Quest: Drink milk completed]

[Host has received 0 Attribute Points]

[Host has received 5 EXP]

I quickly pulled my mouth away and smiled when I saw the notification, then stared at it more carefully.

The rewards were mostly the sa as usual—but sothing was wrong. Even a blind man would notice it. There was no 1 attribute point.

Why didn’t I get any attribute points this ti?

I also noticed that my craving for milk had slightly decreased. The change was small—almost unnoticeable—but it was there. I could feel myself developing a kind of resistance to it.

I didn’t mind too much. When I cultivated, I always gained four attribute points anyway. Still, even a mosquitoes at was better than nothing.

What I didn’t realize was that as I continued completing daily tasks, my body itself was undergoing a massive transformation with each completion.

I decided to ignore it. I was still new to the system, and overthinking—or cursing it—wouldn’t answer my questions.

Since there was nothing else I could do, I went straight to sleep.

I was desperate to start cultivating the ditation technique. Waiting for the day to end felt like waiting for the moon to fall from the sky.

Mother fell asleep almost instantly the mont her body touched the bed. Only then did I finally have so inner peace.

After spending the entire day doing nothing but drinking milk, watching people, wetting myself, and feeding again, I ca to a conclusion—this world was ordinary.

At least for now.

Until the day I mysteriously woke up to sothing extraordinary.

I couldn’t ti-skip or ti-travel to find out whether this world had mages or hidden powers, except the ones I had.

Waiting was boring, and I was afraid—afraid that this life would remain ordinary, with nothing aningful to do.

At that mont, I was checking my status, and I couldn’t help but feel pleased. Both the effects of leveling up and the improvents I had gained over the course of a month since obtaining the system were clearly visible.

• Today’s Task (2/2):

Cultivation of High-grade ditation

Technique{Progress: 0/3} ✓

{Reward: 3 Attribute Points}

{Punishnt if failed: Degeneration}

As I practiced the ditation technique, I kept an eye on the notification ssages. Just two minutes in, another ssage appeared before my eyes.

[Daily Task: Completed {1/3}: Cultivation of High-grade ditation Technique ✓]

Compared to when I first started, my cultivation speed had clearly increased. It felt smoother—more natural—as if my body was slowly adapting to the process.

I continued practicing, repeatedly guiding the surrounding Mana deeper into the Mana core I had ford within my body. As the Mana circulated, my veins, muscles, and every part of underwent subtle, subconscious changes.

The flow of Mana reshaped my body gradually.

After nearly fifteen minutes, I finally finished cultivating. Right on ti as usual, the notification appeared again.

[Daily Task: Completed {3/3}: Cultivation of High-grade ditation Technique ✓]

A smile ford on my face.

Although the task itself hadn’t changed, the ti required to complete it seed to increase day by day. I didn’t mind.

The system probably had its own logic—strict rules I couldn’t yet understand.

I had already decided to grind attribute points for now, since I couldn’t directly add them to my stats yet.

Even though drinking milk no longer rewarded with 1 attribute point, I was still satisfied with the three points from cultivation.

More importantly, leveling up and the ditation technique more than made up for the loss.

Thirty minutes later, I decided it was safest to sleep and leave further exploration for the next day.

The following morning.

The day began as usual. Mother woke up first, followed by Ada and Oge, who quickly joined her to help with household chores.

Then everything suddenly paused.

Father called everyone to the dining room for an important announcent. His expression looked usual compared to his normal self.

Once everyone gathered, I watched him carefully. His eyes scanned our faces, and his heart seed to be racing—I could tell thanks to my heightened senses.

The longer we waited, the more uneasy he beca. He kept sneaking glances at Elina, clearly struggling with what he wanted to say.

His expression appeared to be dejected, as if the news had hit him too suddenly to properly prepare for it

.

He gulped hard.

Elina was already looking at him. Her gentle eyes never left his face, her tender smile still present. The girls, and even , were staring at him. That only seed to increase the guilt written all over his expression.

The room was thick with anxiety and curiosity. Everyone was guessing what he wanted to say.

Still, John stared at the floor.

Damn it... I can’t hide it anymore, he seed to think. I just have to let it out.

He slowly lifted his head and looked Elina in the eyes. I could almost hear his heart tightening as he finally spoke.

"I’m sorry, darling,"

He said, his voice heavy, "but I have a young son outside our marital ho."

Even though he had clearly thought this through before speaking, the guilt on his face only deepened. He knew exactly how much this would hurt Elina—the betrayal, the broken trust, the secret he had kept for so long.

Elina’s smile froze.

Her eyes slowly filled with tears as the aning of his words sank in. She stood there, unmoving, as if all emotion had left her body. I could feel the shock radiating from her, even without words.

John walked toward her, gently reaching for her hands. She didn’t resist—but she didn’t respond either. Her eyes brimd with tears, and I knew that ant trouble.

After a mont, she loosened her grip on the rope holding the basket on the dining table. She murmured a brief excuse and slowly walked toward their room.

John stayed where he was, watching her leave. His expression shifted endlessly—regret, fear, sorrow—all tangled together. Almost like a storm was raging in his heart, and he knew there was no running from it.

With a deep sigh, he finally sat down, his eyes empty.

At that mont, he seed to understand that explanations were useless. All he could do now was hope—hope that his wife and children would soday find it in their hearts to forgive him.
