"Of course not." I muttered as I got up and left the room as feet as I could. Jake went to take care of sothing and was yet to return, im guessing id et him in the dining area.

In the dining area, I was cornered by a lot of people who wanted to hear from if the prince really beat up soone because of . I let out a long sigh as I accepted my food and ate. I didn’t sit alone, a few people sat around and I do recognize them even though we’ve not really exchanged much words so far.

I was glad they didn’t ask anything and as I ate, I kept checking around for Jake but he didn’t show up at all. Once it was ti for our daily tasks to be assigned to us, I went off to the senior’s offices along with everyone.

Once it was my turn, I stepped in and patiently waited. I already know they wouldn’t assign to Sloan, but I hoped they wouldn’t assign to any of the Prince’s cousins. If they do assign to Zade again today; then he’d undoubtedly kill before I get a full word out in his presence. "Lilac, right?" The senior scrolling through a file said as she briefly stared up at and I wordlessly nodded. She was present that night the rest of the seniors forbade from serving Sloan anymore.

"You’ll be serving princess Ana today. Go to the royal kitchen, get her al from there and be off." She said then she waved off, but I didn’t move.

Princess Ana? I didn’t know there was any princess here in this palace?

"I have a question, please. I don’t know who this princess is. How am I supposed to know where she’s located?" I asked and the princess leveled with a glare before she scrolled through the file again.

"Oh, you weren’t even assigned to her... she specifically requested for you to be the one to serve her today," she revealed and my eyes widened as a feeling of discomfort settled in my stomach.

I was feeling unsure as I left the seniors office and began to make my way to the palace.

I sighed belle and let out a relieved sigh as I waved her over. She was carrying a bunch of brooms along with two more girls, and I guess they were assigned to tend to the compound today.

She ca over and grinned at . "Hi, lilac. How’s it been?"

I returned her smile, feeling happy to be seeing a familiar face this morning. "I’ve been good, and you? How’s Theodore as well?"

Her cheeks reddened a little as she shrugged after glancing around for a few monts.

"Who is Princess Ana? I was assigned to serve her and this is my first ti hearing about her."
