The room was dark, and I couldn’t see a thing, which made grow more nervous. When I felt myself get settled in a soft bed that slt so much of the prince, I bit on my bottom lip and reached out to grab his arm before he could fully move away.

He stiffened before his voice slowly filled the room. "I’m not going anywhere, I’m only going to turn the lights on."

My cheeks grew pink as I nodded and let go of his arm, then I fidgeted till bright lights flooded the entire room. I blinked as I let my eyes wander around. It feels like it’s been ages since I was here last but it’s only been two days ago. I hadn’t realized how much I had missed this room and the sight of the Prince till this very mont.

He ca to crouch at the side of the bed in the next mont and I felt my stomach go into knots again.

"Are you alright?" He asked, voice low and almost soothing. I sniffled and wiped a hand over my wet cheeks as I nodded

"Thank you for saving ." I whispered while he frowned before he leaned over in the next mont. I was so startled that I inched backward as well, but it didn’t make much difference because he just followed suit till there was barely any gap between us.

"You don’t seem fine." He stated quietly, then a hand ca up to snag my chin when I made to avert my gaze. He left my chin and moved up to thumb at the tear track on my cheek.

"My cousin hurt you, did he not?"

I swallowed emptily and nodded jerkily, feeling my eyes start to well up with tears again.

Stupid, stupid tears.

"He won’t hurt you anymore, okay?" He suddenly said, his words sounding like a fierce promise. That made my eyed widen and my chest to feel really tight and warm at once.

I couldn’t stop the tears that rolled down my cheeks this ti, which he thumbed away, which made my cheeks grow warm while my heart fluttered in my chest.

His eyes left my face and settled on my throat, and that was when I rembered that I was still bleeding from the bite. A single trail of blood was currently rolling down my collarbone and down the left side of my chest.

His gaze slowly grew intense and darker. I swallowed emptily, my body and stomach suddenly feeling hot. His hand left my face to tangle into the hair behind my head and I couldn’t stiffle the gasp that left my throat even if I tried.

When he leaned down till he was eye to eye with the trail of blood that was still trickling down my body, I wasn’t sure of what I had expected, but it wasn’t for his tongue to dart out and flick at the drop. Another gasp caught in my throat this ti as I found myself trembling, my breathing instantly turning into small pants, especially after his grip slightly tightened in my hair at that very mont.

I watched him with blown open eyes as his tongue began to glide upward, swiping up the trail of blood and at the sa ti, sending goosebumps over every inch of my arm and a shiver down my spine. His tongue passed the side of my left nipple, and the side of his hot tongue grazed my nipple, making a jolt of heat to pulse through my insides just as a whimper caught in my throat.

I felt so hot, hot and breathless, and quite confused.

His hot breath passing over the spot his tongue just licked over was making it hard for to keep my eyes open. I was gripping the sheets tight and trying to stop embarrassing sounds from leaving my mouth, but when he got to that spot where Prince Zade bit into, a ragged cry spilled past my lips as soon as his hot lips closed around that spot and sucked.

It felt like I got dunked in a sea of hot lava. Heat filled up every inch of my veins and pressure shot through , gathering in the lower part of my stomach. His mouth didn’t last long there. It was just a fleeting second, but it felt like hours.

When he pulled his mouth away, his lips looked so wet and swollen, and the sight was so sinful, it made breathless all over again.

"There. You’re no longer bleeding." He suddenly croaked out in a voice that was so deep and scratchy, it made more goosebumps erupt over my skin.

I took a look at the once bleeding bite, and indeed, it had stopped bleeding.

All that just happened was to stop the bleeding? But... it had felt like so much more.

"Thank you." I whispered, voice still breathless and he nodded once before his hold in my hair loosened.

He didn’t pull away though, instead, he leaned all the way over till I was fully laying in his bed and he had pinned down with his body, although our bodies weren’t directly touching— but I could still feel his body heat burning into mine.

My throat felt dry and my tongue felt heavy. I blinked up at him as my grip in the sheets tightened.

"You didn’t co yesterday. I waited for you." He stated and my eyes widened at the sudden statent just as my heart began to flutter again.

"I wanted to, but I wasn’t allowed to." I admitted quietly and anger instantly filled his eyes.

"The seniors back at the slave quarters."

"Why?" He questioned, but I didn’t know how to respond to this question.

"T- they um, they didn’t want to be around you anymore after hearing that I spent two days in here, because they believed they’re more deserving of that privilege compared to ."

His lips twitched and I felt my heart flutter again.

"Is that so? I guess it’s about ti I pay them a visit over there." He stated and my eyes widened but before I could say anything, his eyes narrowed down on .

"I ca by yesterday and saw you being all cozy with a tall, broad shouldered boy. What is your relationship with him? Are you in love with him?"

A frown settled over my face as I dwelled over the question.

"Was that Jake?"

His eyes narrowed even more and I bit on my bottom lip while wondering if the Prince was seriously jealous of Jake right now. The thought was funny to and I let out a giggle before I could stop it.

"The thought of this boy alone is making you laugh? I guess I’ll have to pay him a visit as well." He stated and eyes widened as I grabbed his arm when he began to pull away, making him topple over this ti.

The breath got knocked out on till he lifted up a little, taking away most of the weight, but now our bodies were touching and I could feel all of his hard muscles digging into my body in a way that sent a delicious thrill rolling down my spine.
