A few minutes later, she returned with clothes folded neatly in her arms. Luckily, this ti she got to the coffin without tripping. She placed the clothes on the ground and bowed.
"Master, please step out so that I will dress you," she said.
"Huh? Oh, hell no," Zane refused imdiately. She looked at him in confusion. Why did he refuse?
"Just turn around and don’t look at till I’m done," he said. She still didn’t understand why, but she listened and turned away.
He got out of the coffin. He picked up the towel she had brought and wiped the blood off his body and put on the clothes—a loose black shirt that managed to cover his slim yet very ripped body, and black trousers.
"I’m done," he said, and she turned around.
"Listen, I have a lot of questions right now to ask you, but I want to start from: what’s your na?" Zane asked.
"My na? I have none, Master. A vampire’s na can only be bestowed by their master. It’s what bonds them to their master for all eternity," she responded.
"Oh? So that ans you aren’t bound to . Why are you calling master then?" Zane asked.
"Because I was the servant of your father before he died. He asked , as a final wish, to be your servant and help you," she said.
"My father? Who is my father?" Zane asked, but her expression shifted. Her eyes looked down at the ground.
"Sorry, Master, but I cannot tell you anything about your father or your past.
I am bound by a blood pact. If only the pact was that I die when I tell you, I would have risked my life and told you, but the pact refuses for to even say it.
I know what to say, but I can’t say it, no matter what I try. All I can say is that your father was the one that sealed it within ," she said.
’A blood pact to stop from knowing about my past? Who exactly was I before this? No, let’s take it one step at a ti. It’s not ti to get confused. Like every ga, we take it step by step.’
"I understand, but since you can’t tell anything, at least tell what na my father gave you. We can use that as your na," Zane said.
"Sorry, Master, but that na is also tied to your past, and I cannot reveal it," she responded.
"I see. Then your na from now on will be Lucy," Zane said.
Suddenly, he felt a burning on the back of his right hand. He looked at it and saw sothing searing into his skin. It was the shape of a bat. It burnt into his skin before starting to heal.
"Master, thank you," Lucy said. Zane looked at her and saw her pulling down the chest region of her dress to show the bat mark on her chest, but it also showed a peek at her ’chest’.
Zane imdiately looked away. "Close your chest, please," he said. She looked at him weirdly, not understanding why he was acting like that, but she did as he said and closed it up.
’Does she not have common sense? Or do vampires not worry about things like this? Does she think I’m the weird one here?’ Zane wondered.

"Huh? All this from just bonding with her? Talk about lucky. It took two real-life days to finally level up in the past," Zane said.
He looked at Lucy. He still had a few questions to ask, so before he got into opening what he got, he needed to get so information.
"What happened to ? Why was I sleeping inside there, and how long have I been asleep?" he asked.
"I cannot tell you what happened to make you be put inside the coffin, but as for how long you have slept—you have slept for a thousand years now. You were only a child when you were put inside the coffin," she said.
"A thousand years? That’s crazy," Zane said. "So what about other vampires? Where are they?" he asked. If he was a vampire, then that would an there should be others, and maybe if she told him, he would finally understand why vampires never showed up in the ga.
"There are more others that I know of beyond you and I. They might be hiding, but I don’t know where they are," she said.
"Huh? What happened to the vampires?" he asked.
"The blood pact refuses for to tell, Master," she said.
"Arghhh, we will have to remove that blood pact soon. I need to know what’s happening," he said.
’One thing is for sure—I didn’t just get thrown into the ga as a player with a bloodline, but I actually got put in the body of an actual character.
I don’t know if this is what happened to all the other people that were brought into the ga, but until I et one of them, I can’t know for sure.’
"So where are we right now?" he asked.
"We are in a place hidden deep underground, and above us is a Demon Beast Forest," Lucy responded.
’Demon beasts—beasts that have been affected by demonic energy. If this is a forest of demon beasts, then it simply ans there is a demon settlent sowhere near.
That’s not sothing I should worry about for now though. I just need to know my next steps,’ Zane thought.
He started walking toward the door of the room, and Lucy followed close behind him. He walked into what seed like a massive laboratory, with test tubes that could fit a full human standing all over.
Zane noticed sothing inside the tubes—a reddish liquid and sothing solid inside, looking like a.....
