Chapter 244: Laughter And Sorrow
Si Ning had no idea about what to say, he looked at the Imperial Tutor just to see the man making a slitting gesture with his forefinger on his throat. The most annoying part was that his gesture still looked graceful then Si Ning turned to see the Minister of Foreign Affairs, bearing his teeth at the three Ministers like he should be the one to judge them, Si Ning knew if everyone was judged by Ling Qi then they would all be hanging down from the ceiling with a noose around their necks and if it was the Imperial Tutor that made the judgent then all their throats would be slit by now.
Si Ning was about to ask them why they choose to attack his ho when the door opened and Yi Chen ca in, Yi Chen’s appearance was undisturbed but the expression he wore and the way his chest was heaving even from afar Si Ning could tell that Yi Chen ca to the court with full speed on a horse. Si Ning sent Yi Chen to go to his house to clean up and him being back ans he had sothing important to report and this made Si Ning’s heart unsettled as he tried to push out the thought of the bad things that might have happened for Yi Chen to be back.
The Ministers started to murmur imdiately they saw Yi Chen but when Jiang Ye also appeared behind him made them all stopped to assess the situation. Jiang Ye’s chest was opened to show his chest which was heavily bandaged, stained with blood, his hair was ssily tied in a high ponytail, his trousers were torn and dirty, his face pale, sweat covering his whole face that kept sliding down his face, his mouth was open to make breathing easier and he leaned on Yi Chen for support.
"Second Master, Your man Jiang Ye has sothing urgent to report." Yi Chen announced.
Si Ning was glad to see Jiang Ye was alive but seeing how he was like a ghost, he knew Jiang Ye shouldn’t be walking around but the reason why Yi Chen brought him was what he doesn’t know so he gestured for them to approach. Si Ning watched as Yi Chen supported Jiang Ye on the shoulder but it got to a point Jiang Ye coughed out blood and wanted to fall but Yi Chen was strong and supported him. Si Ning was pained to see the state Jiang Ye was and the other Ministers either wore a pained or confused expression but they all watched Jiang Ye, Jiang ChenMu left where he was standing to quickly support Jiang Ye.
What Si Ning would have done to make it easy for Jiang Ye was to go et them halfway but when he wanted to stand, his legs didn’t corporate and were shaking so with pain he watched Yi Chen and Jiang ChenMu support Jiang Ye to climb the steps and next Jiang Ye was kneeling beside the throne, his hands on the throne to support himself while Yi Chen and Jiang Ye quickly went back to stand with the rest just to give them privacy to talk.
On getting closer Jiang Ye looked worst, his eyes hollow with dark circles, his face lean and white as a sheet, he was breathing extrely hard as he bowed his head and Si Ning had mixed feelings just seeing that Jiang Ye wasn’t in a good shape.

"What do you want to report?" Si Ning interrupted him gently, he couldn’t wait for Jiang Ye to say whatever he wants to say so he could go back to rest.

out but she went back for Wei and didn’t co back, later I saw Wei carried her out and they both collapsed on the floor but I had to find Madam." He narrated slowly but started to cough, he used his hand to cover his mouth and Si Ning could bet Jiang Ye swallowed blood just to keep talking. Jiang Ye that stopped talking wasn’t a coincidence even the whole court fell silent as they watched Si Ning’s eyes that looked tired co alive and turned red like blood was poured on them, his aura settled and it was radiating death, greater than the first ti they ca in.
"Ah ah ah ah ahhhh....." Si Ning laughed out loud. He could finally see they were out to ruin him, as if murdering his mother was not enough they decided to cut off her head too and even tried to burn her.
No one in the court dared talk no one dare to move as they watched Si Ning, they do not hear what Jiang Ye told him but they knew it was bad as they watched Si Ning laugh out loud for so ti only to seize his laugh at once like he wasn’t the one laughing a second ago, his face stern as he stood up, holding his sword and they could tell the Empress wasn’t in a stable situation because when he turned to Jiang Ye with a shaky head. Even Jiang Ye closed his eyes thinking he was going to be beheaded instead his Master said.
"You have done well Jiang Ye." Si Ning said as he started walking, the tip of his sword dragging on the floor, it was the only sound in the hall.
Fear gripped the Ministers, none dared to move, to talk as they watched, a chill ran down so’s spin, so started to sweat, so hands started to shake as they hid their hands right beside them trying to use their sleeves to cover their shaky hands as they swallowed a lump in their throat.
Si Ning descended the step one at a ti, his boot making a sharp solid sound, each step made the Minister’s heart go thump thump thump like it was about to rip out of their chest and when Si Ning got down the last step, he looked down at the three low ranked Ministers, his head tilted to the right, his eyes like death it feels like he was looking at cockroaches that disturbed his night then he raised his sword and within a blink of an eye the three Ministers arms were lying on the floor, six arms in total cut out cleanly from their shoulders. The Ministers were not even aware of it until they saw their arms on the floor and blood gushing out from their wound.

They all cried in pain, the Ministers knew Si Ning to be ruthless but the display of his sword skill exceeded their expectations, just one sword and within a second, arms were laying on the floor, the sword dripping with blood. Nobody said a word but the Imperial Tutor was the only one nodding in approval.
"Song Feng treat Jiang Ye’s wounds and then their wounds, they mustn’t die, they need to watch as all their families lose their life by dawn." Si Ning said smoothly as he tilted his head to the left watching how the Ministers cried in pain like it amuses him.

Even though their arms were bleeding they still crawled on the floor like a snake, using their legs to push their body forward, wailing as they begged Si Ning to spare their families, their words overlapping with one another.
Song Feng was still on his knees, he knew he had to go treat the Ministers but his legs had cramped up, his eyes in shock like he couldn’t believe what happened to the three low ranked Ministers then he looked to his father who nodded his head to indicate that he should say a word. "Yes... Your.. Majesty." He said and bowed.
"After they watch their family die, they must parade all over Zhonghua with a placard around their neck and they must use their mouth to tell the world of the cri they committed of their sin and then be thrown into prison." Si Ning announced the rest of their punishnt. "Take these things out!" He ordered.
The guards ca and dragged the Ministers out as they keep on begging. Xiao Pei and Yi Chen had moved to support Jiang Ye because Jiang ChenMu was frozen at his spot, Song Feng finally followed when he could feel his legs again.
"You." Si Ning pointed his sword at the Imperial Tutor. "You, Song Ouyang, and Concubine Liu MingXia will be in charge of the palace and Xiu because after I arrange things at ho, I am going to war!" He declared.
No Minister dared to say a word as they watched the Imperial Tutor bowed and the Pri Minister kowtowed. Si Ning started to head out of the courtroom Jiang ChenMu later ca to his senses followed holding Si Ning’s bow.
After Si Ning left with his n, so of the Ministers fell to the floor, breathing hard like they just faced the hardest panel and ca out alive.
