Chapter 234: Far Beyond
"Tsk." Yang Sheng clicked his tongue because he missed.
Si Ning who still laid on the floor felt a surge of power from within him, he kicked the wounded part of Yang Sheng’s leg to make Yang Sheng weak for a mont he used his legs to grip Yang Sheng wounded leg, locking it and with forced he jerked forward pulling Yang Sheng’s leg with all his might, Yang Sheng was supposed to fall backward but he struggled not to fall and lost the grip of his sword that his sword fell in the process of him trying to regain his balance, the sword got stuck in the floor bed, the sword standing erect then Si Ning’s pulled again with all the strength he could summon and this made Yang Sheng fall forward that he landed his eye on the hilt of the sword.
"Ahhhhn ahhhh...." Yang Sheng scread in pain as his eye dug deep into its socket and got damaged making him instantly turn blind in one eye as so blood with milky substance started to drip out from the wound which was now hollow even the eyelid tore and got stuck inside.
Si Ning had regained a little amount of energy so he sorsaulted back to stand and he even picked up his sword in the process. "It seems you are the one to die today." He said when he landed on his feet.
Yang Sheng lost an eye happened within a second and Si Ning was ready to do more damage.
"Ah ah ah ah ahhhhh...." Yang Sheng laughed out bitterly, he stood up imdiately and grabbed the sa sword that damaged his eye as he focused his good eyes on Si Ning. "You have finally done it!" He spatted bitterly, his expression like that was a mad man as he started to drool, saliva dripping on the floor, his tongue out like a maniac, his good eye-bulging, his face red and the side of his head full of veins that seed ready to pop.
Si Ning was still weak but whatever Ah Dai gave him worked and he was regaining his energy with speed, his heartbeat now pounding was due to the fight, he spat out more dark blood, determined to finish the fight at once then save Ah Dai who was losing too much blood.
Wait for
Ah Dai. Almost.
"Ya!" Si Ning rushed forward not fearing the mad appearance of Yang Sheng, his sword collided with Yang Sheng, and just like a copycat he kicked Yang Sheng back then threw his sword with a massive amount of force at the sa ti, Yang Sheng that was unbalanced due to the kick made him unable to dodge because of Si Ning’s unpredicted movent, the sword pierced Yang Sheng stomach and he coughed out blood then Si Ning ran and gave a solid kick at his sword, making it to dig dipper in Yang Sheng’s stomach, he then kicked Yang Sheng hand upward, the hand that was holding his sword which made Yang Sheng lose his grip on his sword making the sword to fly upward which Si Ning caught swiftly in mid-air and pierced Yang Sheng in the heart with it.
The movents were so fast that Yang Sheng was unable to even blink once when everything happened, his eye widened surprised that Si Ning was able to use his leg to kick when he was the one doing the kicking earlier, one minute he was ready to fight and the other he had two swords dug into his stomach and chest, he fell on his knees and Si Ning pulled his own sword out of Yang Sheng’s stomach and raised it.
"As expe...cte...d of Gen...eral Si Ni..ng, do you thi...nk I will make hea...ven?" Yang Sheng asked with difficulty because of blood gushing out of his mouth.
"No." Si Ning replied as he brought down his sword and slashed Yang Sheng’s throat. Blood gushed out like a tap from Yang Sheng’s throat, splashing on him as Yang Sheng’s face began to turn purple as he seed to be trying to breathe, his hands lifted to cover the wound but his hands got drenched in blood.
Si Ning knew Yang Sheng was going to die so he rushed at once to Ah Dai’s side kneeling on the pool of blood, the blood soaking his robe but the mont he touched Ah Dai, turned him, parting his hair with a shaky hand to see his face and raised his head so that the head could rest on his laps, he touched Ah Dai’s face that was white like a sheet of paper, he was numb to see the face was turning cold and he quickly reaches to hold Ah Dai’s hand, the hand was cold too. "Ah Dai Ah Dai..... Ah Dai." He called in a small shaky pained voice.
Si Ning knew that Ah Dai could never reply because now he was in the great beyond.
"Nooooo no no noo...oo..." Tears flowed out of his eyes as his voice broke, he was never going to see the Servant that loved him most, took care of him, make research to make the best soap and cream for him, gave him the best al, always worried about him, putting him first before everything, the only one that calls him Young Master, his most loyal Servant Ah Dai that made sure to cure him of the poison and got murdered because he was distracted with him dying. Si Ning squeezed the cold hand, he could feel how rough it was to show Ah Dai tried his best to work better for him with his good hand.
"Ah Dai...!" Si Ning cried in pain, his heart shattering into pieces it was like he was the one soone stabbed in the heart. "Please wake up Ah Dai, I never told you you are the best cook I ever had, you are the best beautician, you are the best friend I could ever ask for, is this how you will leave , how dare you leave
Ah Dai!" He cried in pain, his mouth wide open, his eyes red, his face stained with tears as he cried not knowing how to cope with the unbearable pain as his tears drop on the face of the lifeless body. "Ah Dai....eeeeee..." He started to hit his chest with one hand before placing it on Ah Dai’s face.
Si Ning imagined Ah Dai opening his eyes to say he was just joking and was playing dead to see how his Master would react but he knew deep down Ah Dai was gone and was never going to look at him again, smile at him, and accept all his teasing. Si Ning raised Ah Dai’s body and hugged him as he cried, wailing because the pain he was feeling was much more than when he was gasping and dying.
The air seed to move and Si Ning instantly snapped his head to see Qiu Bai’s guard. The guard was standing and looking at Yang Sheng’s lifeless body. Now Si Ning could see how the guard had been entering without anyone knowing, it was due to Yang Sheng aiding him.
"So this is how you t your demise." The guard said then bent.
"What are you doing?" Si Ning demanded, still holding Ah Dai as his bloodshot eyes narrowed at the guard.
"He is a friend of late General Shen Yu, their pact was to be buried beside each other." The guard replied calmly.
What! What!! What?
Si Ning’s eyes blazed with anger, he laid Ah Dai’s head slowly on the floor as he stood up grabbing his sword. "You will not take that thing anywhere, I am going to hack that body apart and burn each part a day at a different location in Xiu."
Who were they! Who were they to think they could shatter soone’s ho and do whatever they want and make everything go in their own way!
"I do not want to fight you, Commander Yang Sheng acted without waiting for my order from the Emperor but if you don’t allow
to carry the body then I have to fight you." The guard replied.
"So be it!" Si Ning rushed blindly, he was never going to allow the guard to escape, today the guard would die, they made him lose Ah Dai so he was determined to make Qiu Bai lose soone close to him too but before he t the guard a tal plate flew from outside the window and got stopped by sothing between the guard and Si Ning then the plate fell on the floor to show a dart in the middle of the other side, Qiu Bai’s guard just tried to hit him with a dart.
Si Ning turned to see Xiao Pei jump over the window swiftly, half of his sleeve ripped apart, his robe dirty stained with blood, he was holding a bloodied sword that was even dripping blood on the floor.
"General forgive
that I am late but I am now here to deal with this pest!" Xiao Pei declared.
