Cultivation towards immortality, starting from being a fisherman Chapter 31: Technology and Tough Work (Please Follow)
Chapter 31: Chapter 31: Technology and Tough Work (Please Follow)
The three middle-aged cultivators in the pool of water.
They called themselves Zhang’s Three Cultivators within the Outer Sect.
As fellow cultivators who joined the Outer Sect at the sa ti, they all hailed from the sa large city.
Favoring circumstances forged their bond, and naturally, they banded together.
They beca sworn brothers, though of different fathers and mothers!
But the path of immortality is elusive, and even their solidarity could not change their inherent spirit root quality or comprehension abilities.
...
After toiling in cultivation for three to four decades, they were still stuck at the mid-stage of Qi Cultivation, making no progress.
As they watched themselves grow old with no hope in sight for Foundation Establishnt,
the quick-witted Three took the lead in declaring that they could not continue their arduous cultivation any longer!
Without a stroke of luck of their own, how could ordinary cultivators ever hope to establish their foundation!
Immortal cultivation values the struggle for advancent!
We cultivators are ant to vie with the heavens for our fate!
Awakened by this realization, Zhang’s Three Cultivators began moonlighting as opportunistic bandits.
At first, they only targeted loose cultivators.
After a few successful ambushes, their ambitions grew, and they even set their sights on those who had given up cultivation to retire.
In their view, if these cultivators had relinquished the struggle against fate, why should they still hoard resources?
Wouldn’t it be better for those spirit stones and cultivation materials to be ‘lent’ to Zhang’s Three Cultivators?
When news of an anomaly occurring in Golden Spring City spread, it was the resourceful Three who proposed an idea.
They didn’t choose to rush to Golden Spring City to join the excitent.
In the opinion of the Zhang Clan’s Three, they learned of the news too late and missed the initial opportunity.
Any chance that Qi Cultivation cultivators could seize had likely already been snatched up by the cultivators near Golden Spring City.
With this reasoning, they decided it was better to take advantage of the situation by lying in wait along the inevitable routes nearby.
If they were lucky, they might encounter a cultivator possessing newfound fortune, hastening to distance themselves from potential trouble.
Wouldn’t the fortune then fall into their hands?
Even if they didn’t encounter fortune, who would care about a few Qi Cultivation cultivators going missing at such tis?
The higher-ups could easily brush it off, suggesting those comrades might have ventured into so ruins and disappeared.
Their choice of this particular pool was a calculated decision regarding its location.
Foundation Establishnt cultivators and those in the late stage of Qi Cultivation who could fly would not pass by, so they need not worry about biting off more than they could chew.
And cultivators who stuck to the official road could have cultivation levels at most equal to theirs.
It would be difficult for cultivators of such level to detect the camouflaged aura-masking formation laid out above the pool.
This ant even if they encountered a group, they could choose to act or not depending on the situation.
Zhang’s Three Cultivators all agreed enthusiastically with this safe plan.
Boss even slapped Three on the back, laughing and proclaiming that Zhang’s Three Cultivators would undoubtedly grow stronger and eventually all beco Foundation Establishnt Cultivators and establish their own Immortal Cultivation families!
When Su Ping appeared on the horizon,
Zhang’s Three Cultivators were all aware of it through the formation above the water’s surface.
However, the distance was too great, so they contained their excitent and murderous intent, waiting for their prey to take the bait.
In terms of killing techniques at the Qi Cultivation Stage, it was best to reduce the distance between cultivators to within thirty ters!
Perceiving their prey suddenly stopping, Zhang’s Three Cultivators tensed up.
Fortunately, the prey moved again, accelerating even more rapidly!
Zhang’s Three Cultivators believed this catch was in the bag!
All three of them simultaneously launched a sneak attack!
A mid-stage Qi Cultivation stage cultivator was not sothing they couldn’t handle imdiately, right?
One thousand ters, five hundred ters…
Two hundred ters…
One hundred ters!
Suddenly!
Just as Zhang’s Three Cultivators were all set to strike, to their astonishnt, they found the prey had stopped a hundred ters away.
And with the sound of sothing cutting through the air, it seed that sothing was thrown in their direction?
“Not good!”
“We’ve been discovered!”
The boss and the second eldest of Zhang’s Three Cultivators roared in their hearts as they burst out of the water pond.
Although they were surprised and angry, they were not too panicked.
They had a three-to-one advantage, the superiority was theirs!
Boom boom boom!
At least twenty Thunder Fire Pearls were thrown forcefully by Su Ping, scattering and detonating continuously above the pond.
The recently erged Zhang’s Three Cultivators imdiately scread and dove back into the pond.
But to their dismay, the very next instant!
Mixed in with the Thunder Fire Pearls, two glass bottles exploded in the force of the blasts, transforming into fierce balls of fire.
Once these fireballs touched the pond, they spread in an instant, turning the entire small water pond into a sea of fire!
“Ahh!”
The boss of Zhang’s Three Cultivators scread as he burst out of the water, most of his body wrapped in flas.
Bearing the pain, the boss crushed a Water Condensing Talisman.
Steam appeared out of thin air around him, but it imdiately caused the flas and the heat to beco even more ferocious.
It turned his screams so hoarse they reached the extre.
“Spare , please!”
Seeing the boss’s dire state, the other two who had climbed out of the pond, themselves ablaze, started crying out to Su Ping for rcy.
But they were stupefied to discover.
The prey that had thrown those terrifying objects… had once again retreated to a hundred-ter distance!
Clearly, he was guarding against their last desperate counterattack!
“rcy, Taoist friend! I have a great secret regarding Foundation Establishnt Spiritual Objects!”
Three cursed inwardly, his injured eyes gazing at the blurred figure of Su Ping, using the last of his energy to cry out for rcy.
But he found that the blurry figure had pulled even further away upon hearing his words!
“Foundation Establishnt Spiritual Objects?”
“Whether that stuff is real or not, I don’t know, the karma is too great to ntion, and the key is I don’t need it!”
Su Ping shook his head slightly and thought to himself as he looked at the three firen in the distance:
“Besides, I can start the fire, but I certainly don’t have the power to put it out.”
“It can’t be helped, although I gave it a na fitting for Immortal Hero tales.”
“In reality, it’s a fierce piece of technology from another world!”
“So far, it seems, as a technological marvel, it’s fatal for these Qi Cultivation Cultivators who lack equipnt and secret techniques, as soon as they get hit, they’re done for!”
The Thunder Fire Pearls in Su Ping’s hands were enhanced versions of sweet explosives, and the Netherfire Technique Bottles were luxury versions of Burning Bottles.
With the materials purchased from Taoist Zhou Xuan, coupled with the dexterity that Su Ping brought as a Cultivator, he was able to perform precise formulations just like professional chemists.
The potency of these Burning Bottles was not like the harmless props used for atmosphere in TV shows or on the streets, which even a shield could stop.
They could actually ignite armored vehicles, lt steel, and even be effective against so tanks—a weapon of war!
Let alone ordinary Qi Refinent Cultivators, even Body Cultivators, or those in the Great Achievent of Body Tempering would just have normal steel bones at best.
In front of the flas from the Burning Bottles, they still had to kneel!
The flas continued to burn.
Zhang’s Three Cultivators soon lost all signs of life.
Only when the flas finally went out.
Did Su Ping approach the three charred corpses, accompanied by the Spiritual Rat White.
“It’s useful alright, but burning them like this ans the spoils of war are greatly reduced.”
Su Ping comnted smugly, then found three storage bags among the charred remains.
All these similar storage bags were severely distorted, with signs of brittleness on the surface.
As Su Ping attempted to pick them up, the mont his fingers touched a storage bag.
It burst with a pop, completely splitting open!
Then, like opening a treasure chest!
The contents of the storage bag exploded out like Heavenly Maiden Scattering Flowers, scattering all over the ground!
