The paper crane had flown for about two hours when Li Shiming left Eagle Beak Island where the cave mansion was located.

Flying over the ocean was extrely tedious, but he couldn't afford to be careless, as he needed to constantly watch out for dangers on the sea surface.

Although sea beasts were rare in the sect's waters, they were not absent, and there were cultivators who were even more dreadful than sea beasts.

This location was much farther from the Nine Peaks of the sect, and accordingly, the safety here was significantly reduced.

In the far reaches of the ocean away from the sect, killing a weak cultivator could easily yield a small fortune, sothing a few unscrupulous cultivators would indeed do.

"What's that in the distance?" Li Shiming thought he saw a shadow in his field of view and hastily took out a monocular to observe.

It was a small Flying Boat parked on the sea's surface, only five ters long with a wooden cabin in the middle, and the entire boat was erald green.

A green figure was squatting on the bow of the Flying Boat, apparently doing sothing.

Li Shiming's gaze wasn't fixed on the green figure, but rather, he ticulously observed the Flying Boat.

This was, after all, a Flying Boat; although much smaller than the one he had boarded when coming to the sect, it was nevertheless a Flying Boat, a single-person Flying Boat.

He was no longer a novice who knew nothing, having encountered nurous cultivators had enlightened him about many matters.

In the sect, a single-person Flying Boat was either rented for missions of extrely long journeys or owned personally.

Li Shiming glanced at the papercraft crane beneath him, then back at the single-person Flying Boat, a look of envy flashing in his eyes.

To get a clearer look, and coincidentally since the single-person Flying Boat was on his path, he approached it.

At that mont, the clouds in the sky darkened, and the persistent wind grew more humid.

In an instant, large raindrops began to fall.

Li Shiming hastily took out an oil-paper umbrella and held it over his head.

His strength was relatively weak; a cultivator would typically use Spiritual Power to shield themselves from the raindrops.

But the road ahead was long, and the rain showed no sign of stopping soon; his Spiritual Power couldn't last that long.

If the paper crane got soaked and damaged, he'd be in big trouble.

Of course, the paper crane had moisture-proof asures, but looking at the body of the paper crane, he wasn't confident enough to entrust his safety to its water-resistance.

On the ocean surface, as a re Qi Refining Third Level, without any ans of flying, falling into the water would an he'd have to swim.

But the problem was that swimming in the sea wasn't safe at all; a Qi Refining Third Level cultivator swimming in the sea was like continuously announcing to the sea beasts, "Here's so delicious food, co and eat!"

When the paper crane ca within ten ters of the Flying Boat, he saw that the person in green clothes was a woman, but since her back was turned to him, he couldn't clearly make out her face.

He didn't know why, but the green-clothed woman wasn't using any ans to avoid the rain and remained squatting on the deck, writing sothing on it.

The raindrops wetted the green-clothed woman's garnt, which clung to her body, forming delightful curves.

Seeing the state of the green-clothed woman, Li Shiming understood she was in so sort of focused state.

She was absorbed in writing sothing, completely unaware of the rain.

The paper crane moved a bit closer, and Li Shiming saw that the green-clothed woman was holding a brush, drawing on a piece of paper, and raindrops were falling on it. It seed to affect her, and instinctively, she used her body to block the raindrops.

This movent caused more of the green-clothed woman's garnts to beco wet, revealing more of her beautiful curves.

Li Shiming furrowed his brows, uncertain of what the green-clothed woman was doing, but it surely must be sothing of great importance. He lightly tapped his finger, and a streak of sword light flew above the green-clothed woman's head.

The "Sword Control Technique" created a swath of sword light, deflecting all the raindrops falling toward the green-clothed woman.

Amidst the rain, the paper crane and the Flying Boat remained at a distance from each other, and Li Shiming did not look at the green-clothed woman's body but turned his head to gaze at the distant sea.

From his previous view, he had clearly seen the green-clothed woman's face, truly exquisite in beauty, with skin as smooth as cream.

She was the most beautiful woman he had encountered in both his lives; perhaps it was due to her cultivation. From her appearance to her posture, she was unlike anyone he had ever seen, possessing a quality as if she were one with the universe.

Given Li Shiming's cautious nature, he would typically never approach a strange cultivator so closely.

With his actual strength, carelessness could lead to any cultivator in the sea region killing him in an instant.

But upon seeing the green-clothed woman, he sensed her harmony with nature, and instinctively, he knew she posed no danger.

The rain intensified, and to shield a larger area, Li Shiming increased the range protected by his "Sword Control Technique."

This significantly tested the skill of "Sword Control Technique," but fortunately, his skill had reached a very proficient level.

The green-clothed woman erged from her focused state, becoming aware of the longsword hovering above her head. She did not panic and quickly deduced that the longsword was shielding her from the rain.

A look of gratitude appeared on her face, as radiant as the autumn moon. She had been in the midst of an epiphany, and if the rain had wet the paper, it would have disrupted her realization, with no guarantee of when the next epiphany might occur.

"Yin Shilan thanks Mr. Xie for lending a hand!" Yin Shilan looked up at Li Shiming, flashing him a dazzling smile that slightly dazzled him.

And just then, the rain stopped, and even the dark clouds in the sky were blown apart by the wind at that mont, allowing a ray of sunlight to shine down on the Flying Boat and illuminate Yin Shilan's lovely face.
