Chapter 327: Chapter 210: Becoming a Disciple (Extra chapter for FangXiuV until death FangXiu)

Li Yuan Ba once again entered the Outer Sect Battle Division’s task hall of the Senluo Sect and placed a corpse in front of the steward.

“Task completion,” he said indifferently.

The steward, seeing him, couldn’t forget although several days had passed; it was extrely rare for an elder to issue a task personally.

“Complete his task and let him go to the second floor,” he looked up towards the second floor as he heard an elder’s voice in his ear.

The steward swiftly processed Li Yuan Ba’s procedure, and the contribution points on his Identity Jade Disc increased to 4050—he was already considering whether to purchase so Formation knowledge.

Li Yuan Ba didn’t need to worry about his personal cultivation resources. Li Shiming had left his doppelganger a million Spirit Stones, plus the spoils of continuously completed tasks and slaying Cultivators, which was a considerable fortune.

...

His main task now was to constantly accumulate contribution points, to provide knowledge about the Senluo Sect for his original body, and to search for the Third Grade Five Elents Array Materials.

“Fellow, Elder Jian is waiting for you on the second floor,” the steward called out to Li Yuan Ba, who was preparing to leave to check his gains.

A chill went through Li Yuan Ba’s heart; of the Senluo Sect’s elders he had t only one, and that Elder Lv didn’t seem at all like a Golden Core Elder of the Demon Sect.

He didn’t know who this Elder Jian was that summoned him or why, but he knew he couldn’t refuse.

He nodded to the steward and went up the stairs to the second floor.

The second-floor space was vast, but only one person was there, savoring tea.

When Li Yuan Ba saw the person, he didn’t notice what they looked like at all because to him, this person didn’t feel like a Cultivator, but a Longsword sheathed in its scabbard.

Perhaps other Cultivators wouldn’t notice this, but the perception between Sword Cultivators was clear.

A sheathed Longsword is all the more dangerous.

“This is a powerful Sword Cultivator, even more terrifying than Yun Xingyi!” Li Yuan Ba told himself in his heart.

Of course, when he had encountered Yun Xingyi back then, Yun Xingyi’s strength was but a fraction of his true power, making it difficult to judge whether this Elder Jian was stronger or weaker than Yun Xingyi. At least, Li Yuan Ba was not qualified to make that judgent.

“Outer Sect’s Li Yuan Ba pays respect to Elder Jian!” He suppressed the pressure in his heart, walked up to Elder Jian, and bowed deeply.

Elder Jian had been observing him since he walked up to the second floor.

Regarding Li Yuan Ba, Elder Jian was quite satisfied.

Being a Golden Core Elder, he certainly didn’t issue a task to Li Yuan Ba out of boredom; it was Li Yuan Ba’s Sword Intent that drew his attention, giving Li Yuan Ba an opportunity.

Of course, if Li Yuan Ba, as a Sword Cultivator, had died at the hands of the True Disciple of the Thick Earth Sect, it would have ant that he was not destined for this opportunity.

The way a Golden Core Elder of the Demon Sect tested disciples, Elder Jian’s thod was relatively normal.

“I’ve called you here to tell you that you’ve passed my disciple assessnt, and I want to take you as an entry-level disciple,” Elder Jian said very directly.

Li Yuan Ba was stunned; he did not expect Elder Jian to say so.

He thought he would need more ti—at least until entering the Inner Sect—before attracting the attention of an elder.

The fact that he had continuously completed tasks was known only among a portion of Foundation Establishnt Cultivators within the Sect due to the short span of ti. If Elder Jian hadn’t been free recently, Li Yuan Ba might indeed have had to wait until he was competing for entry into the Inner Sect to draw the attention of other Golden Core Elders.

“Disciple Li Yuan Ba pays respect to Master!” Li Yuan Ba soon ca to his senses after montarily freezing and greeted with a bow, changing the way he addressed the elder.

Entering the Sect ant seeking a powerful backer, and the Elder Jian before him at least wasn’t one of those Golden Core Elders who cultivated demonic techniques—he didn’t need to worry about being used as a consumable for demonic cultivation one day.

“Li Yuan Ba, what cultivation technique are you practicing now?” Elder Jian reined in his aura and asked with a smile.

Li Yuan Ba suddenly couldn’t sense the oppressive aura anymore; the Elder Jian in front of him now seed just like a regular mortal elder.

He hadn’t reached such a state of freely controlling his presence; having practiced the ‘Sword Demon Secret Manual’ and ‘Ten Directions Sword Cultivation Technique’, even in normal tis, his aura would brim with Sword Intent.

“Disciple practices the ‘Sword Demon Secret Manual’ and ‘Ten Directions Sword Cultivation Technique’!” Having had his main body go through the process of acknowledging a master once, he was well-prepared for this and had no intention of hiding anything.

“The Ten Directions Sword Cultivation Technique is an inheritance technique of the Mingxin Sect, though given you’ve passed the Heart Inquiry Hall’s assessnt, I presu you’re not a cultivator from the Mingxin Sect. Where did you get the Ten Directions Sword Cultivation Technique?” Elder Jian slightly frowned and inquired.

Elder Jian was aware of the ‘Ten Directions Sword Cultivation Technique’, one of his old rivals Yun Xingyi had cultivated this very technique.

Had it been any other technique, Elder Jian certainly wouldn’t have questioned its origins.

He was prepared to accept Li Yuan Ba as a disciple, and it was his first ti taking a disciple in the Senluo Sect—he didn’t want any complications.

“Disciple found it in a storage bag after killing a cultivator on Sky Sea Island!” Li Yuan Ba answered with a mix of truth and falsehood.

“Sky Sea Island! Could it be that Yun Xingyi perished there? No wonder his technique was lost!” Elder Jian didn’t suspect Li Yuan Ba’s words and murmured to himself.

Although Sky Sea Island was quite far away, it was possible to investigate whether Yun Xingyi had perished or not through various channels such as the Beishu Trading Company or powerful sects like the Ten Thousand Buddha Sect that could make contact with Sky Sea Island.
