Chapter 705: Chapter 698 rit

Seeing Captain Fang Xuan depart, a line of people looked to each other, their gaze inherently falling upon Sun Hongtu and Shen Fei.

Excluding Chen Hai, within their team, it was only these two who had stepped into the Heavenly Immortal Realm.

Between an Earth Immortal and a Heavenly Immortal, although there’s only a slight difference, the gap in strength is vast and insurmountable.

Even Chen Hai, before truly taking that step, had no certainty of victory against a Heavenly Immortal-level powerhouse.

If even he was as such, let alone the Earth Immortal mbers of their team.

Captain Fang Xuan might be strong, but the distance between him and the rest of the team mbers was sowhat great.

Under such circumstances, those Earth Immortal-level mbers naturally gathered around Sun Hongtu and Shen Fei, treating them as the de facto leaders.

“At the rit Hall the other day, I followed the rules there; killing an Earth Immortal-level enemy only yielded one rit point,” one of them said.

“For us who have just joined the Enemy-breaking Camp, it’s really too hard to gain rit points.”

“That Captain Fang leads us on missions and takes half of the rit points earned for himself is a bit excessive. According to his distribution thod, after this mission, we ordinary mbers can only get a tiny amount of rit points, barely more than sesa seeds or green beans.”

“In this camp, unless we neither eat nor drink nor do anything, with no rit points in hand, we can pretty much say we’re immobilized.”

Around Sun Hongtu and Shen Fei, several Earth Immortal-level mbers spoke up one after another.

Whether they were forced or volunteered, since they had joined the Enemy-breaking Camp and needed to go on missions to earn rit points, that was normal and acceptable to them.

However, when it ca to the distribution of rit points, they felt that the right amount to obtain should equal the effort put in; that would be the most suitable way.

Yet now, the tasks hadn’t even started, and just with a word, Captain Fang intended to take half of the gains right off the bat. This was like squeezing them dry, sothing they found hard to accept.

“This Primordial Land has always been about survival of the fittest.”

“When Captain Fang spoke, if you had objections, why didn’t you voice them directly while he was here?”

“Wait until tonight when Captain Fang cos over. If you dare to protest to his face, I will absolutely support you in spirit.”

“If you’re given the chance but lack the courage, then stop whining in front of !”

As one of the leaders of everyone, Sun Hongtu rolled his eyes and glared fiercely at the few who had spoken, reprimanding them.

Since the last ti he was slightly chastised by Fang Xuan, Sun Hongtu held a genuine fear of him in his heart.

Dissatisfied with Fang Xuan? Protest against his orders?

If the other mbers really dared to do that, he would definitely support them wholeheartedly, only he himself would absolutely not be the one to stick his neck out.

“The rit earned from the mission, Captain Fang personally takes half? And the many of us can only share the remaining fifty percent?”

“This thod of distribution does indeed seem a bit unfair.”

“We all have mouths, if anyone is unsatisfied, they can just raise their concerns directly!”

That Shen Fei fellow, gently waving his folding fan, wore a smirking expression and scanned the gathered crowd.

After making a full turn, his gaze ultimately rested on Chen Hai, “Chen Hai, everyone here is obviously unhappy with Captain Fang’s proposed distribution thod.”

“Why don’t you act as a representative and discuss this matter with Captain Fang?”

“Rest assured, if your proposal is indeed adopted by Captain Fang and secures more benefits for everyone, you certainly won’t be left out of the rewards!”

Captain Fang’s temperant was well-known among those present.

Especially Sun Hongtu, who had once been taught a lesson by Captain Fang, had a profound understanding of it.

The rest of the team spent their days revolving around Sun Hongtu and Shen Fei, offering constant flattery, except for Chen Hai, who had kept to himself in his room, without showing his face for days.

Though Chen Hai’s behavior might not sit well with everyone, both Sun Hongtu and Shen Fei would inevitably feel displeased and have so criticisms of him.

Captain Fang’s thod of distribution was clearly unfair; it was outright exploitation.

While these people were dissatisfied, they lacked the courage to openly confront Captain Fang.

Now Shen Fei was suggesting that Chen Hai should be the one to speak up?

When this suggestion was made, the others imdiately spoke up in agreent.

“Gentlen, within the Enemy-breaking Camp, we are just a bunch of newcors who know nothing at all.”

“Captain Fang is incredibly powerful; we are lucky he is willing to lead us in person.”

“The rit we have gained from this mission, Captain Fang only takes half, which seems a bit little. In my view, he ought to take eighty percent to match his contributions.”

“When we start our operation tonight, I will discuss this matter with Captain Fang.”

“Captain Fang has worked hard and with great care for the sake of us newcors integrating into the big family of the Enemy-breaking Camp; we can’t let his efforts go in vain!”

Seeing everyone’s gaze consolidate on him, Chen Hai chuckled and made his stance clear.

He knew he could not out-argue everyone present.

If he were to reject Shen Fei’s suggestion, the others would definitely have a lot to preach to him.

So Chen Hai decided to do the exact opposite.

During his ti at the Enemy-breaking Camp, he had been cooped up in his room, diligently cultivating without even knowing what rit points were for.

Besides, with Captain Fang taking half of the rits from the missions, and the rest being divided among people like Sun Hongtu and Shen Fei, there would be very little left for Chen Hai.

To suggest to Captain Fang that he should take more rit would be as if he were selling off his own family’s land without a second thought—an act he was truly capable of performing!

Looking at the dumbfounded expressions of Sun Hongtu, Shen Fei, and the others after hearing his words, Chen Hai chuckled, flicked his sleeve, and headed straight out of the courtyard.

With just a few two-hour periods left until midnight, there wasn’t enough ti for cultivating or comprehending Divine Secret Skills.

Staying in the camp for nearly a month, Chen Hai was still completely unaware of his surroundings.

Taking advantage of the rare free ti, he left the courtyard area to casually explore the vicinity.

Other places might not matter much, but he felt he had to visit the rit Hall at least once to see what it was actually like.

The rit Hall was just a large hall exclusive to the Enemy-breaking Camp, ant for its mbers to take on tasks or exchange rits for items, unrelated to other areas within the mining region.

Such a hall wouldn’t be too far from the compound of courtyards that made up the camp area.

Leaving his squad’s courtyard, it took Chen Hai less than the ti it takes to drink a cup of tea to arrive at the entrance of the rit Hall.

The entire rit Hall wasn’t particularly large, just a hundred paces in diater.

After confirming he was at the right place by looking at the sign hanging over the entrance, Chen Hai stepped confidently inside.
