Chapter 568: Chapter 561 Copper Tripod

Chen Hai looked a few tis at the place where the elder in brocade fell.

That fellow had rushed here with such fierceness.

When facing Chen Hai, he didn’t even take him seriously, as if he was certain of his victory.

Chen Hai thought this guy must be very strong or have so kind of trump card, but who would have known, he was just a pillow with embroidered flowers.

With just one move from Chen Hai, the body of the elder in brocade fell to the ground, embedding fully into the earth, with only his two small legs sticking out. When he had first fallen, they even twitched a few tis.

By the ti Chen Hai reached the scene, the elder’s two legs had already stiffened, and no signs of life could be felt from his body.

Killing a person and then searching the body had beco a habit for Chen Hai after doing it so many tis.

Pulling the elder in brocade from the ground, he looked at his chest that had caved in and his head that no longer looked like a head…

It was too cruel, and Chen Hai almost couldn’t bear to look at it.

“Already facing the Nine Realms’ Heavenly Tribulation, yet still likes to soar to the heaven’s edges so much, how co he never thought to take so protective asures, to prepare himself for the fall from the sky?”

“If he had a parachute on his back, or wore a vestnt robe similar to a wingsuit, would he have ended up in such a tragic state when he fell?”

“Accidents can happen at any ti…”

Full of compassion, Chen Hai sighed deeply.

The elder in brocade t his violent end because he fell from the sky, but mainly it was his own bad luck that his head hit the ground first.

As for Chen Hai’s strike, at most it would have half-killed him. If it weren’t for the fall from the sky, he might have had a breath left in him.

So, he felt that the elder’s death had very little to do with him.

Since the man was already dead, leaving his possessions on his body would be a waste.

Adopting the principle of recycling waste, the lucky Chen Hai found quite a few valuables on the elder.

He hadn’t had ti to look at the other items closely, but the quantity of spirit stones and spirit coins was sizeable, that much he could be sure of.

After gathering all the items, Chen Hai looked to the sky once again.

One after another, those who had launched attacks at him were not just the elder in brocade, but rather several others.

Not to ntion, those people lacked a bit of loyalty.

Seeing the elder in brocade dead, none stayed behind to handle his body, nor to manage the aftermath; they just yelled and ran away very quickly.

“We’re rely acquaintances, I don’t even know your na.”

“But I can’t stand those who talk big about fighting for their brothers, yet run off imdiately at the first sign of trouble.”

“You died so miserably, yet your fellow fair-weather friends escaped like that?”

“No wonder you died with your eyes still open.”

“Helping others is the source of joy, I’ve always been eager to do good. Rest assured, I will certainly seek justice for you and make your friends accompany you down below!”

Chen Hai lanted with a face full of sympathy.

To fulfill his promise to the elder in brocade, he soared into the sky, streaking toward the person closest to him.

In the past, he could only run on the ground and couldn’t fly in the sky.

But during those years of seclusion, after digesting the gains obtained from Sun Jitian of the Desolate Heavenly Demon Sect, he had learned the Sky Tunneling Technique.

The Desolate Heavenly Demon Sect, coming from the more prosperous Qianshan Territory and boasting a deeper heritage, was naturally far stronger than the sects from the impoverished West Barbarian Mountain Territory.

The Sky Tunneling Technique learned by Chen Hai was of good grade; only those who stepped into the Nine Realms’ Heavenly Tribulation were barely qualified to cultivate it.

With this technique and his own formidable strength, it took only a few breaths before the person fleeing through the air ahead was within his attack range.

“Those devoid of loyalty and righteousness shall die!” a thunderous shout followed by a gigantic fist shadow burst forth, charging towards the fleeing person ahead.

“I am Hong Chengshan, if you dare to kill , dicine King Valley will not let you off…” A strong sense of crisis flooded the person’s mind.

Turning his head, he roared at Chen Hai.

Unfortunately, Chen Hai had only just arrived in Qingmu City, and the only local he knew, Yang Jian, had been crushed to death by him.

Whether it was Hong Chengtian or Lv Chengtian, how would he know who that was?

The roaring was cut short as the giant fist shadow launched by Chen Hai completely engulfed the man.

In front of the corpse of the elder in brocade, he had promised to seek justice.

Thus, the punch Chen Hai threw was a bit stronger than necessary.

When the fist shadow dissipated, the person who had identified himself as Hong Chengtian was blown to pieces with no remnants left, only his two legs fell towards the ground.

“That elder in brocade finally has company on the Netherworld path!”

“He still has two companions who managed to escape a little further away.”

“But no matter, I’ll spend a bit more ti and energy to bring them all together for a grand reunion!”

Casting his gaze around while standing firmly in midair, Chen Hai surveyed his surroundings.

The two fleeing for their lives, one to the north and the other to the southwest, had already covered a good distance.

Chen Hai furrowed his brows and muttered to himself,

“Good deeds should be carried through to the end, send Buddha to the west; though their directions of escape aren’t exactly opposite, they aren’t much different either.”

Having promised to strike down both n, though sowhat troubleso, Chen Hai always kept his word; since he had agreed to reclaim justice for the Elder in Brocade, he naturally had to gather them up, neat and tidy.

“I really am a good person, within the West Barbarian Mountain Territory, it’s rare to find soone as honest and trustworthy as myself…”

After comnding himself, Chen Hai shot towards the northerly fleeing figure once more.

He had barely covered a few miles when an inexplicable sense of crisis suddenly surged in his heart.

In the next mont, the entire world seed to darken, and a giant copper tripod appeared in the void above his head.

The copper tripod, its sides engraved with birds, beasts, insects, and fish, and surrounded by densely scattered patterns emanating divine light, seed to carry endless mystery.

The mouth of the tripod faced Chen Hai’s position, plumtting towards him from the sky.

The nearby void seed to be temporarily imprisoned by this copper tripod, the air, though empty, made Chen Hai feel as though he was subrged in water, its surrounding atmosphere becoming incredibly thick and sticky.

“Which coward dares to ambush Chen?”

“Co out and et your death!” As the copper tripod was about to land, Chen Hai showed no sign of panic.

With a loud shout, he raised his fist and charged straight toward the falling tripod overhead.

In a re fraction of an instant, a fist and a tripod collided.

“Boom… Boom…” It was as if the sky were collapsing, with howling winds and fierce energy rampaging everywhere.

The sound of thunder continued incessantly, turning the entire sky a murky yellow.

The falling copper tripod was jolted back into the air.

And Chen Hai, who had thrown the punch, did not fare much better, as the shockwave sent him plumting from dozens of ters above Qingmu City.

Of course, he wouldn’t be as foolish as the Elder in Brocade had been prior; upon landing on the street below, his feet touched down first, not his head.

Below his knees, his body sank into the earth.

With him at the center, a series of fierce cracks, like a spider web, extended outwards.

The violent energy stirred up by his fall swept around.

The houses, courtyards, and shops on either side of the street, as flimsy as paper, were instantly destroyed.

Cries and wails filled the air.

Ordinary people were far too fragile in the face of a powerful being like Chen Hai.

Seeing the battle of powerhouses in the sky, the common folk in the territory either hid away or fled far.

But now, rely affected by the ferocious energy of Chen Hai’s fall, countless people were injured or killed.

“I don’t kill Boren, yet Boren dies because of …”

Hearing screams and cries, Chen Hai felt a deep heartache.

However, this was not the ti to think about such matters; he raised his head, his gaze sharp as lightning, and looked towards the sky.

The shaken copper tripod, after flying out for several miles and spinning, steadied itself once more.

An elder in a Taoist robe with white eyebrows stood above the body of the tripod, his hands behind his back.

As Chen Hai’s gaze fell on the elder, the elder likewise looked back at Chen Hai.

“Within the Heavenly Extre Holy Sect, there is definitely no powerful being like you, who are you?” Their gazes clashed as if crossing swords in midair.

The strength demonstrated by Chen Hai had clearly shocked the white-browed elder.

Staring at Chen Hai, he asked in a deep voice,

“I’m just passing by, what does the Heavenly Extre Holy Sect have to do with ?”

“Here in Qingmu City, I had just found an inn to stay at when soldiers ca knocking at my door, wanting to throw into the Black Prison!”

“For such an incident, could you just stand it?”

Chen Hai replied with a cold snort.

Without looking, he knew that stopping his punch and matching him without being at a disadvantage ant the elder must be a True Immortal powerhouse from dicine King Valley.

Qingmu City, being the premier city in the West Barbarian Mountain Territory and so close to dicine King Valley, had yet to fall into the hands of the Heavenly Extre Holy Sect and was firmly controlled by the dicine King Valley.

It wasn’t surprising to think about it, that a city of such scale would have a True Immortal stationed within.

While speaking, he also remained vigilant, scanning all sides.

Just one True Immortal, he could handle, but he was worried about others’ assistance.

After scanning the vicinity, he had not found any other True Immortal-level powerhouses aside from the elder by the copper tripod, but this did not an it was definitely safe.

What if the elder stalled him and a group of True Immortals arrived to besiege him?
