"W-What is that?" Liza stared at the thing before her with a stupified expression as this was her first ti seeing sothing like that ever.
Khal seed to look the sa, but not because he saw such a thing before, but because he did, or to be more precise read about it in the book.
"That's a Lava Fruit, but how could sothing like that appear here?"
"Lava Fruit? What's that?" Liza frowned while her gaze was still staring at the thing called Lava Fruit.
About a hundred ters away from them, a thick pillar of solid lava rose into the air, while atop it a mass of lava in the shape of a human heart rested, its size not bigger than a human's fist.
However, the most noticeable trait for so strange reason was not its shape, size, or look, but the aura it was emitting. Except for the imnse heat that could easily rival Khal's Hell Blaze, the Lava Fruit radiated a kind of aura that felt pleasing to one's eyes, almost making Khal, Rubie and Liza think as they were staring at not a lump of lava but the most delicious looking food in their entire ti, making them want to take a small bite from it!
"So this is what a Lava Fruit is capable of? Truly frightening!" Khal said in a low voice as he now belived that the words in the book about the Lava Fruit were indeed not exaggerated, maybe they were even understated!
In the book he got from the old woman, Khal was able to learn tons of new things, including the information about this Lava Fruit, which had another na such as Evil Fruit.
No matter how ridiculous it may have sounded, but that mass of lava was indeed a fruit, which in fact could be consud by one if specific conditions were reached and obtain a boost in strength without any after-effects.
However, if one tried to consu it or even attempt to get closer to it without completing the requirents, one can only wish for painful torture only to get crippled in the end and live the rest of their lives in literal hell!
Though, this kind of fruit only appears at the bottom of extrely hot places, such as volcanos, and not at places like the Fiery Grasslands!
It made no sense at all to see a Lava Fruit here, in the Fiery Grassland!
"What should we do now? Should we take it with us?" Liza seed to be under a great dilemma of what they should do as one of her parts wanted to leave the fruit where it was, but her other half wished to grab and take it away with them.
Khal swallowed hard once hearing Liza's question and after wiping off a drop of sweat from his forehead he shook his head.
"Normally, I would say let's leave as we don't know what that thing truly is, but unfortunately, it would be a foolish choice to leave a priceless treasure such as this one behind."
"Priceless treasure? In what way a mass of lava can be considered a priceless treasure?" Liza asked Khal, seemingly confused to hear such a thing from him.
Khal however was not surprised by her question as he too would have felt bewildered if it was not for the book, thus, he quickly shook his head and explained, "Lava Fruits could be considered extrely rare objects that can boost one's strength after consuming it, especially those with the elent of fire."
He then quickly continued, "If soone with a fire-associated Talent eats the Lava Fruit, their Talent will get several levels stronger than previously, even having the chance to go through a so-called Talent Mutation!"
"Talent Mutation? What is that? I have never heard about it." Liza asked imdiately, her eyes beaming with curiosity as she had a Talent associated with fire, hence this was a chance for her to improve her strength!
"Let's take an easy example, your Fla Control Talent. If you et the specific requirents to consu the Lava Fruit, your Talent not only will get stronger by a notch, but you will be able to control lava too. Of course, this has a slim chance while also there is the possibility to get other abilities, but this is the most common."
"What are the requirents?" Liza asked hurriedly, obviously wanting to consu the Lava Fruit as this was indeed a huge chance for her!
Khal smiled after seeing her excited complexion, almost like a little girl who was about to get her present at Christmas, thus opened his mouth to tell her, but suddenly the ground at several places around the Lava Fruit split apart too, and several arms arose from the boiling lava below!
BAM!
TREMBLE!!
Khal and Liza had to take a firr stance as the mont the arms that were as big as a bus slamd into the ground, the whole land trembled almost like it was shaken by a powerful tremor, while both watched as a huge silhouette covered in still dripping lava ca up from below!
'A Lava Fruit and now a Magma Golem? Just what on earth is happening here?' Khal looked shocked and startled by the sight he was seeing as both the fruit and the creature were things that shouldn't have appeared here at the Fiery Grasslands!
Both were things that could be only found inside volcanos where the temperature was extrely high, and not in a place like here, which was a barren land where heat wasn't even that humanly suffocating with only a small amount of lava flowing here and there.
'Could this be in connection with that man?' Khal subconsciously looked at the shadow in the distance, but seeing as he was doing nothing but watching, he frowned.
TREMBLE!!
Once the entire creature erged through the fissure, revealing its massive size that was twice as big as a Rock Golem, it looked around the land before walking toward the Lava Fruit with huge and long steps.
"Not good! It will consu it!" Liza said loudly, but no matter how much she wanted to stop it, the Magma Golem before her was not sothing she could hope to compete with as it was at the peak of the Sixth Cultivation Stage she was a whole Stage below it!
