After things cald down, Moon Aiko returned to inspect the continental flying ships.
The journey might be further than before, so it was necessary to make these adjustnts. Furthermore, there was no sight or sound from the Human Cultivators, which ant they were completely oblivious about their current location.
This allowed them so nice breathing room, especially since most Foxes didn't really go out of the Fox Village. Most of them were inside the Fox Village unable to leave since those fuckers were worried that they would run away.
And they were right. Most Foxes would rather die outside than be in that shithole...
After returning inside, the place was squeaky clean. There was no sight of any dust or anything that would make the journey uncomfortable. It would also allow them to clean the pelts a lot easier in the long run.
"The most important part was mould." Moon Aiko didn't want the Foxes to sleep in mould and possibly catch sothing nasty out of it.
The sll would also deteriorate their senses, making them more susceptible to ambushes once they landed.
Moon Aiko didn't know if they would be allowed to enter the Ancestral Beast grounds, but she would do her best to bargain this.
However, even if they wouldn't be allowed to enter, she already ensured that they would be able to put up an Array that could protect the place even from more powerful monsters.
"You are just making work so that I don't get injured." Chen Shi clicked his tongue, but that was all he did. He would still help out, since the stark difference between the two Fox Villages made him curious.
While Aiko did wing it most of the ti, she also used her 'common sense' to make sure everyone benefited.
Sure, most of the resources were for negotiations, but let's be real. They would still keep a lot of materials which would allow the Foxes to progress greatly, making them hard to bully once they entered the Beast Sect.
"Make sure that there were no pointy things. While our bodies are sturdy, that doesn't an we don't feel things." Moon Aiko pointed at a few places with few sharp points sticking out.
There were not that many places like this, it was actually very rare, but to make sure that nobody would suffer, Moon Aiko made sure to say it when she spotted sothing like that.
'The beds are above the floors and with pelts they should be warm enough...' Moon Aiko inspected everything and was very impressed with the way things went.
The pelts would have to be nailed down sohow, since so Foxes were rowdy sleepers and might steal the surrounding pelts if they wouldn't be secured.
However, other than that, Moon Aiko couldn't really pinpoint anything bad and with these arrangents the capacity of the continental flying ship would now be able to host even more Foxes if there was a need for that.
Moon Aiko was very happy about this, but providing the pelts... yeah, that would take a lot of ti...
"Are you sure we can gather enough pelts?" Moon Aiko didn't believe that was possible. Of course, she already concluded that the fauna would go extinct in this place, but even with that she didn't believe it was possible.
"You don't have to worry." Yu chuckled sinisterly. "So of the Foxes captured so spiders, so we are now 'gently extracting' their silk."
Moon Aiko paused for a mont. For that brief mont she pitied the spiders, but since this was all about her Foxes getting a nice rest, that pity didn't last long.
"That is fine, but be careful. No injuries allowed, okay?" Moon Aiko narrowed her eyes at Yu.
"We are managing with scratches and blunt trauma, but if we do get injured we have ergency Pills assigned by forr Fox Village Leader." Yu smiled from ear to ear, feeling happy about the last part.
"Hmmmm..." Moon Aiko narrowed her eyes again. "Why forr?"
"Yuan said that this Fox Village is too different to what she is used to, so it doesn't feel right for her to hold onto that title." Danji explained while crawling so way back.
If you find this story on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the infringent.
"She should be proud that the Fox Village didn't disappear before..." Moon Aiko rolled her eyes.
"Why is that?" Yuxi popped out of nowhere.
"You know that they had to do a lot of paperwork, right?" Moon Aiko pursed her lips.
Everyone nodded their heads.
"They speak in their sleep about being chased by said paperwork." Moon Aiko laughed awkwardly. That was the other reason she kicked them out of the bed.
"But what does that have to do with anything?" Chen Shi could never understand her thought process.
"If the paperwork was any worse, the Fox Village would already fall in ruin, so Yuan was single-handedly holding the Fox Village afloat." Moon Aiko gestured, since she saw so of those papers and the ridiculous consumption of the previous Fox Village.
They pretty much burned through most of their legacy to just keep the Fox Village concealed...
"I see..." Chen Shi never considered this side, since his paperwork was impeccable as always.
"I felt soone cursing ." i appeared behind Chen Shi and kept glaring around.
"Gah-!" Chen Shi didn't expect that and jumped, banging his head on the ceiling before falling back down.
"Good thing you didn't break it, otherwise the Foxes would eat you alive." Yu chuckled sinisterly.
"That doesn't sound too bad." Chen Shi pondered on that sentence.
"Of course not before castrating you." Yu clicked her tongue.
"Never mind. Forget I said anything. I will be more careful." Chen Shi shuddered. These Foxes were even more ruthless than before, making it harder for him to do anything.
But on the other hand it was also good. They were now strong enough to make such threats.
If it was the Fox Village before, they would offer him several Foxes just to keep him near the Fox Village. Of course, he always rejected those things since he already had a partner... two...
Chen Shi ruffled his hair.
"Good." Yu smiled like nothing happened and kept following Aiko.
"This is the navigation room and other things?" Moon Aiko looked around. This room was the only one not modified since everyone had to pay close attention to the Arrays and Inscription and not damage it too much.
"This room could use tweaking, should I do it now?" Chen Shi suggested. He figured out that if he was a bit more proactive it would save his body for the future.
"How long would it take?" i asked him with narrowed eyes.
"A few days per ship." Chen Shi estimated this, but he would make sure that they would be able to take off within a few monts if it was necessary. He would only adjust the burden on the Cultivator and how levitation worked.
That way it should be possible to greatly reduce the strain and Qi required to fly this ship.
"Get to it." i nodded her head in approval. "But make sure they can be used at any mont."
"Obviously." Chen Shi rolled his eyes. He was not a novice in this and he helped on a few flying ships.
He hated this new design which was really inefficient, but he would have to study more if he wanted to build a flying ship from scratch, and since he didn't have any motivation before... yeah...
"We will leave you at it." Moon Aiko nodded her head slowly, before examining the rest of the ship.
There were a few more places where it needed adjustnt, but other than that, it was fine.
The other continental flying ships were in similar condition, so there was not much of an input from Aiko.
"Let Chen Shi make a barrier against excessive moisture." Moon Aiko gestured. She didn't intend to do this before, but since they were already tweaking it, it would hurt to be more careful.
"I will tell him later." Yu smirked. She liked to harass him here and there when he was misbehaving.
"That is fine." Moon Aiko turned towards i who was holding a Talisman.
"The Spiritual Cook is going with the Southern Sect to the mainland, so we will be able to et up with them later." i smiled. Her stomach growled slightly, feeling quite hungry for that delicious food.
"You are looking forward to it more than I do." Moon Aiko looked at i's stomach.
"Stop staring." i awkwardly turned around and lightly blushed. She didn't eat much these days, so speaking about Spiritual Food really made her hungry.
"You should eat more." Moon Aiko nodded her head repeatedly.
"Not everyone can maintain their slim bodies." i spoke from experience, since at one ti she was... a bit rounder than the usual Foxes.
She was a sucker for good Spiritual Food, so she would always stuff her cheeks. Unfortunately that Spiritual Cook was not all that good, which was able to inflate even this pseudo-body.
It was quite crazy when i noticed that, so she had to cut down on food a lot...
"The pelts are being processed, they are bringing small night tables just in case Foxes want to store sothing inside. There shouldn't be any thieves for the ti being, but we shouldn't get too comfortable." i gestured for everyone to be careful.
"Let the Elders scan the Foxes at irregular intervals if you are too worried." Moon Aiko suggested. There were plenty of Elders lazying around, so putting them to work was not a bad idea.
"That doesn't sound bad. We will assign two more Elders to each continental flying ship to make sure nothing bad is happening." i nodded her head and imdiately ordered the Fox Elders to do just that.
"With everything we can wait for a few days for the fauna to go extinct before we leave this place." Moon Aiko nodded her head slowly. The spider silk and pelts should be enough in that ti and even if it wasn't, so pelts were big enough for several Foxes, so they could just share.
"I will arrange that." Danji and Yu chuckled and imdiately went to observe the Foxes...
...
A few days later, everything was prepared. There were not enough 'beds' as Moon Aiko expected, but that shouldn't be a problem since so pelts could be shared by 2 and more Foxes.
"With this everyone should board and we can go~!" Moon Aiko humd happily. They still had to wreck this place to not leave anything behind, but the Foxes would manage that while packing their things...
