Luo Chen nodded, without hesitation, imdiately pulling Li Xin and heading east. His speed was extrely fast, almost disappearing into the night in an instant. The fire behind them grew closer, but Luo Chen showed no fear, knowing that as long as he was fast enough, he could escape this crisis.

The two ran wildly through the desert for a long ti, until the eastern horizon began to show a pale light. Luo Chen maintained extre speed throughout, and Li Xin, with his help, managed to keep up. Finally, when they saw a green territory ahead, they both breathed a sigh of relief.

"We’ve made it out," Li Xin said, looking at the green land, a joyful smile on her face.

Luo Chen smiled too, knowing his escape this ti was thanks to Li Xin’s guidance and his speed advantage. He glanced at the distant firelight behind them, secretly grateful. At the sa ti, he gained a deeper understanding of the power of the so-called "Desert God," realizing that he must be even more cautious when facing such enemy in the future.

"Why did he capture ?" Luo Chen furrowed his brow, his face filled with confusion and doubt. He turned, fixedly looking at Li Xin, as though trying to find answers in her eyes.

Li Xin took a deep breath and slowly spoke, "He can know the direction you fled, can command all the forces and experts in the desert to surround and intercept. In the face of such power, I’m afraid your speed won’t do much." Her voice was calm and firm, each word striking heavily at Luo Chen’s heart.

Upon hearing this, Luo Chen was initially stunned, then the corner of his mouth curled into a roguish smile. He strode forward, standing atop the dune, with a long sword planted into the ground, gazing down at the approaching cavalry. His posture was upright like a pine tree, with a magnificent aura, as if he were a War God overlooking the crowd.

"Heh, as long as he can’t fly, what difference does it make if he finds ?" Luo Chen said boldly, his voice full of supre confidence and arrogance. He seed ready for a life-or-death battle with the pursuing forces.

Li Xin saw Luo Chen standing imposingly on the dune, her heart suddenly stirring. She used to think she understood this man well enough, but now, she realized that there were still many unknown mysteries and possibilities about him.

"The Mage and Martial Artist alike cannot fly, unless they reach the level of Master Ruolin," Li Xin said softly, as if reminding Luo Chen not to be overly complacent.

Luo Chen nodded to show he understood. He sheathed his long sword and turned to Li Xin, "Alright then, let’s each find our way to safety. You go in that direction, I’ll distract them."

Li Xin heard this, but only let out a bittersweet smile, shaking her head, "Escape? Where can I possibly escape to? This is my ho, the place where I grew up. Now with my ho shattered and family destroyed, I’m alone, in this vast world, where is there a place for ?" Her voice carried endless sorrow and helplessness. In her clear eyes, there was no longer the pride and vitality of the past, only faint loss and sadness.

Seeing Li Xin like this, Luo Chen couldn’t help but feel a conflict within his heart. He knew he shouldn’t get involved in this chaos, but the helplessness and sadness of this woman in front of him made it impossible for him to turn and leave rcilessly.

"Ah, fate is blind!" Luo Chen sighed, "I, Luo Chen, am an infamous villain, not a damn hero. Why do I keep encountering situations where I must play the hero saving the beauty? Why do you have to look so pitiful and make it hard for to leave without worry?" His tone was filled with helplessness and self-mockery.

Listening to Luo Chen’s words, Li Xin felt a warmth rise in her heart. She knew that this man might speak harshly and seem ruthless, but in reality, he was kind-hearted and sentintal. Otherwise, he wouldn’t still be willing to stay by her side under such circumstances.

"You should go." Li Xin took a deep breath, holding back tears, "You can save for a mont, but not for a lifeti. I don’t want to drag you down anymore." Her voice carried a hint of resoluteness, as if prepared to perish with the enemy.

Luo Chen saw the determination in Li Xin’s eyes, and felt a stir in his heart. He knew he couldn’t change her decision and that he shouldn’t stay any longer. But at this mont, a sort of invisible force seed to pull him, making him unable to move his steps. Perhaps this was fate’s arrangent, making him et her at this ti, making her an inseparable part of his life. Even knowing that ahead lay only danger and near-death, he was willing to charge forward willingly and recklessly for her!
