With a thunderous "boom," the sound pierced through the forest, breaking the silence. The Black-Backed Long Saber swept up like lightning, tracing a sharp arc in the air. Li Xin’s worry was clearly unnecessary; the branch turned into a spray of wood dust the instant it touched the blade, scattering in the air with an astonishing display of force.

Li Xin was stunned, his eyes widened in disbelief at the scene before him. He felt an indescribable shock welling up within him. He hadn’t expected Luo Chen to be able to so effortlessly fend off his attack. It should be noted that even though he only used a branch, his force and aim were honed through countless practice sessions, making it nearly impossible for ordinary people to block it so easily.

"Again!" Li Xin shouted, a mix of frustration and embarrassnt flaring up. Gripping with the pain shooting through his arm, he bent down to pick up another branch. He was unconvinced, wanting to test once more to see if Luo Chen could really withstand his attack.

However, just as he was about to launch the branch again, Luo Chen casually brushed the dust off his body, as if the previous strike hadn’t been worth ntioning. He returned to his original spot with a calm deanor, studying Li Xin with a faint smile in his eyes.

"That’s enough." Luo Chen’s voice was soft, yet it brought Li Xin’s movents to an imdiate halt. He looked up at Luo Chen, a flicker of confusion and dissatisfaction passing through his gaze.

"You... did you learn it?" Li Xin stamred, his voice betraying his incredulity. He couldn’t imagine that Luo Chen had learned his archery skills in such a short ti, and could block his attack with such ease.

Luo Chen didn’t directly answer Li Xin’s question but instead walked over to him, bending down to examine the wound on his arm carefully. Due to overexertion earlier, the bandaged wound had torn open again, oozing fresh crimson blood. Luo Chen frowned slightly and gently unwrapped Li Xin’s bandage.

"Your wound has split open and needs to be rebandaged," Luo Chen said, cleaning the blood and gri around the wound as he spoke. His technique was skilled and gentle, as though afraid of causing Li Xin pain. After finishing the cleaning, he retrieved so muscle-growing dicine powder from his bag and sprinkled it evenly on the wound.

As the powder made contact with the wound, Li Xin felt a cool sensation wash over him, significantly alleviating the intense pain he was experiencing. Watching Luo Chen’s earnest expression while tending to his wound, an inexplicable warmth rose within him. He realized that although Luo Chen appeared cold and indifferent on the surface, he was, in fact, a person with a subtle, kind, and gentle heart.

"Feeling better?" Luo Chen asked after completing the bandaging. His eyes were filled with concern and inquiry, as if he truly cared about Li Xin’s well-being.

"Much better," Li Xin nodded, speaking through gritted teeth despite the pain. Although it still hurt, it was much better than before. More importantly, he felt Luo Chen’s concern and warmth, which made everything seem worthwhile.

"Are you ready to get moving?" Luo Chen asked again, a hint of urgency in his voice. He knew they still had a long journey ahead and couldn’t be delayed by a minor wound.

"Yes," Li Xin answered without hesitation. He stood up and moved his arm a bit; though there was still so pain, it no longer affected his mobility. He looked at Luo Chen, determination shining in his eyes, "Let’s go."

"By the way, how far is your tribe from here?" Luo Chen turned to look at Li Xin beside him, a trace of curiosity in his gaze.

Li Xin was slightly taken aback by the sudden question and quickly regained her composure, giving it so thought before replying, "If we travel through the desert, it’s over two hundred miles. If we take the edge of the Sunset Forest, it’s about over three hundred miles..." As she said this, she couldn’t help but glance at Luo Chen with worry, as if doubting his ability to make the journey.

Luo Chen, however, only smiled slightly and confidently said, "Alright, we’ll be there in no more than two hours." His tone was relaxed yet firm, as if it were rely a trivial matter.

"Two hours!" Li Xin’s face was blank with shock at Luo Chen’s words. She found it hard to believe that Luo Chen could cover such great distances in such a short ti. To her, it seed like an impossibility.

Seeing Li Xin’s expression of surprise, Luo Chen couldn’t help but find it amusing. He playfully teased, "Of course, now you have two choices. First, I can carry you in my arms; second, I can carry you on my back. Don’t rush your answer, take a mont to consider it..." Smiling with a hint of mischief, he said.
