"Luo Chen." He answered, his tone calm and firm. Now that the threat of sharp arrows was gone, he knew he could choose to leave at any ti. However, with nothing else to do, he was very curious to figure out the identities and purposes of these people.
"Where do you co from? Why are you here?" the young girl continued to ask, clearly curious about Luo Chen’s appearance.
Luo Chen smiled slightly and did not directly answer the girl’s question; instead, he asked, "Who are you then? And why are you here?"
The girl was taken aback for a mont, seemingly not expecting Luo Chen to counter question her like that. She hesitated for a mont before speaking, "We are travelers from afar, rely passing through this place."
"Oh? Passing through?" Luo Chen raised an eyebrow, "Then why so guarded against ?"
The girl said nothing, just quietly watched Luo Chen. The four strong n remained on alert, seemingly ready to respond to any sudden situation.
Seeing this, Luo Chen understood that these people weren’t simple. They might be mbers of so mysterious organization, or have so unknown purpose. However, he didn’t want to delve too deeply, as everyone had their own secrets.
"Since you are just passing through, then I won’t disturb you any further." Luo Chen said as he turned to leave.
"Wait!" the girl suddenly called, "You haven’t answered my question yet."
Luo Chen stopped his steps, looked back at the girl, and a smile curved at the corner of his mouth: "I’m just an ordinary traveler, with nothing special about my identity. As for why I’m here, it can only be said to be a coincidence." With that, he turned and left, leaving the girl and the four n standing there speechless.
In the dense forest, Luo Chen unexpectedly t a long-legged girl. Her deep blue eyes seed to see through the heart, staring intently at Luo Chen, as if wanting to see through his very being. Faced with this sudden scrutiny, Luo Chen felt a slight tension in his heart, but he remained calm and t the girl’s gaze.
"What are you doing here?" the girl finally spoke, her tone carrying a hint of coldness and curiosity.
Luo Chen replied easily, "Just on my way ho."
The girl clearly didn’t expect to get such an answer. She was stunned for a mont and then quickly asked, "Where is your ho?"
"Gou Head City." Luo Chen answered calmly.
"Gou Head City?" The girl was wide-mouthed, a look of disbelief on her face. Clearly, she wasn’t unfamiliar with that place and might even have so special feelings about it.
Seeing the girl’s reaction, Luo Chen felt a bit strange and tentatively asked, "Is there a problem?"
The girl quickly regained her cold deanor. She looked directly into Luo Chen’s eyes, reconfirming, "Are you truly heading to Gou Head City?"
"Yes." Luo Chen confird.
The girl seed to gain more interest in Luo Chen and continued to ask, "Are you hunting in the Sunset Forest?"
"Yes." Luo Chen nodded.
"Your prey?" The girl’s curiosity seed fully piqued.
Luo Chen gestured towards his bag with his mouth, "In the bag."
The girl signaled to one of the bearded strong n beside her to check Luo Chen’s bag. The man quickly opened the bag, revealing so scale armor of ironclad boars and hides of fish-dragon beasts. He also carefully searched through the rest of the bag and eventually found so low-grade Divine Stones.
"Miss, he is indeed hunting." The man reported to the girl.
The girl glanced at the Black-Backed Long Saber in the man’s hand, snorted coldly, and said to Luo Chen, "You are a Martial Artist."
Luo Chen hurriedly waved his hand to deny, "No, I’m not a Martial Artist." He noticed that the strong n were very respectful towards the girl, indicating her unusual status.
The long-legged girl showed a hint of doubt on her face and continued to ask, "Are you a resident of Gou Head City or temporarily living there?"
Luo Chen answered honestly, "Temporarily living in Gou Head City." He understood that such a lie could easily be exposed, so he chose to tell the truth.
After hearing this, the girl fell into short contemplation as if recalling sothing. After a while, she looked up at Luo Chen and said, "Since you are temporarily living in Gou Head City, perhaps we can travel together for a while."
