The tall man, although he avoided the direct attack of the giant serpent, was shaken by the imnse force, his blood and energy surging within him. He was profoundly shocked; the power of this giant serpent was incredibly strong!
Seeing this, the other two n imdiately sprang into action, launching attacks on the giant serpent from both sides. For a mont, Sword Qi crisscrossed, fists howled, and the fierce battle with the serpent played out continuously.
Despite its massive size, the giant serpent was remarkably agile, constantly dodging the attacks from the three n while launching fierce counterattacks. Each swipe of its tail, each opening of its mouth, brimd with deadly threat.
The battle left Luo Chen and the others utterly stunned. They had never witnessed such a heart-stopping scene. Three Soul Master-level experts were battling a mysterious giant serpent, just like a scene from legend.
As ti passed, the three n gradually showed signs of fatigue. Although powerful, they were sowhat at a loss against such a formidable giant serpent. The serpent, however, seed to be growing more tenacious as the battle went on, each attack more fierce than the last.
Finally, in an intense clash, the tall man made a mistake and was struck in the chest by the giant serpent’s massive tail, flying back violently like he had been hamred, crashing heavily to the ground. He struggled to get up, only to find that several of his ribs were broken, with blood continuously seeping from the corner of his mouth.
The other two n were aghast at the sight and wanted to rush forward to help, but were tightly ensnared by the giant serpent and couldn’t break free. At this mont, they truly realized the terrifying nature of this serpent, but it was too late.
The giant serpent opened its gaping maw and lunged at the tall man, seemingly wanting to devour him in a single gulp. But at that mont, a dazzling light descended from the sky, striking the giant serpent directly!
"Aoo!"
The giant serpent let out a wretched scream, its body shuddered and then crashed heavily to the ground, the enormous body cleaved into two by the light!
The crowd watched this scene in disbelief, unsure who had the strength to slay such a formidable serpent in a single strike. They looked up to see a figure descending from the sky, landing steadily beside the tall man.
It was an elderly man in a white robe, holding a Longsword with a faint remnant of lightning on the blade. Evidently, the dazzling light had co from him.
The elder looked at the tall man on the ground, furrowing his brow slightly, then reached out his palm to gently press against the man’s chest, imdiately sending a gentle force into his body to stabilize his injuries. Then the elder turned to face the other two n and the now-dead giant serpent, a grave expression on his face.
"This serpent is no ordinary creature but has been influenced by so evil force, which is why it beca so powerful," the elder slowly said. "You three, as Soul Masters, joined forces to attack a group of trainees far weaker than yourselves—shaful!"
The three n looked ashad at these words, knowing their actions were indeed inappropriate, yet in the face of the elder’s reproach, they could not offer a defense. Luo Chen and the others, however, were filled with gratitude toward the elder, knowing they would have likely perished there if not for his tily intervention.
In excruciating pain, the man let out an earth-shattering scream, and his body flew out like a kite with a broken string, crashing heavily to the ground. Dust billowed, and chaos ensued. The other two, stunned by this sudden change, were montarily at a loss, forgetting to either flee or advance to help.
The giant serpent swallowed the flesh, a cruel smirk appearing at the corners of its mouth. It spewed a breath of foul air, its eerie eyes fixated on the fallen tall man. Then, it slowly slithered along the ground, approaching the prey that had lost its ability to fight back.
"Don’t co over, don’t co over!" The man cried out in pain and fear, repeatedly begging tremblingly. However, the giant serpent paid no heed to his pleas, continuing to advance.
Witnessing this gripping scene, Jin Zizai Sitton and the others wore expressions of delight. They had originally thought the battle would be extrely tough, but didn’t expect the giant serpent to beco their ally. "Luckily, this giant serpent is on our side," Jin Zizai Sitton remarked with emotion.
"Let’s go help Big Brother!" The tall thin man swallowed hard, gritting his teeth as he spoke. Then he and another man swiftly charged at the giant serpent. Their fists burst into simultaneous red flas, like burning fire, as if even the air was ignited by the scorching aura.
However, just at this critical mont, the giant serpent suddenly launched its final attack. It lunged ferociously at the tall man who had lost the ability to resist, its mouth opening to an enormous degree, as if it could swallow an entire person whole!
