"Third... Third Brother..."
He murmured.
Su Chen exhaled and slowly walked towards the man. In his palm, the faint Wind Shadow Blade lingered, but gradually turned into specks of light and disappeared.
The man had his eyes closed, his handso face looked extrely tragic. His chest was completely pierced by the Wind Shadow Blade, leaving a horrifying wound several inches deep. Blood constantly gushed from the wound, covering him in blood.
"Is he your Third Brother?"
Su Chen frowned and asked.
The man lowered his head dejectedly, his face pale. But slowly, he let out a hoarse, bitter laugh, "Hahaha, so what if he is? Didn’t he still die by your hand? But don’t get complacent, because this ti, you won’t escape my elder brother’s pursuit!"
"Your elder brother?"
Su Chen’s tone was puzzled, but his expression was contemptuous, "I see, it looks like you five brothers have long set your sights on our team..."
The man’s face turned even paler, but he still gritted his teeth and said hatefully, "So what? If you run now, you can live a little longer. Once my elder brother catches you, you’ll surely die without a grave!"
"Then let him co and catch . I’ll be waiting here." Su Chen picked up the Blood Light Sword, walked up to the man, and looked down at his ever-changing face.
This group must have had their eye on him for a while, lurking in the shadows for the right mont. Before this, they might have seen several of their battles and figured them out.
Suddenly, a terrifying thought flashed through his mind!
Could it be that the others have gone to ambush Sister iruo and the others?
Upon this thought, he internally berated himself for being so foolish. How could he realize their intention only now? Since they had seen his abilities, they had surely allocated their "troops" for the ambush based on strength. This ans their most formidable mber went to deal with Sister iruo and the others!
Su Chen’s gaze turned cold as he stared at the man and questioned, "Did your elder brother go to ambush my companions?"
"Haha, you’re so thick-headed, only realizing now, it’s too late!"
The man raised his head to look at him, laughing maliciously. Su Chen was infuriated, imdiately launching a kick to the man’s face, slamming him into a tree trunk!
"Damn it, miscalculated!"
Su Chen cursed, then turned to run in the direction Siger iruo had headed. But the man called from behind, "Don’t hold onto hope. My elder brother is a two-star Beast Master, dealing with those losers is easy as pie!"
Yet, Su Chen ignored him and continued sprinting towards the distance, his silhouette resolute.
The man leaned against the tree trunk, watching him with icy eyes, gritting his teeth, "Kill, kill, the more that die, the better. Then I can just take what they leave behind!"
Trees quickly flitted past behind him as Su Chen ran, the wind against his face ssing up his hair, cooling his heart.
If anything happened to Siger iruo, he would never forgive himself. If not for his montary carelessness, how could they have fallen into the trap the enemy set?
His pace quickened again, as Su Chen almost flew through the forest, the howling wind brushing past his ears, the scenery around blurred from his speed. He only wanted to find Siger iruo quickly, even if they were no match for the opponents, they would fight side by side!
He leaped over a small stream, stord into another forest like a swift wind, running tirelessly, sweat pouring off him. A green wind attribute power swirled around his legs, easing the soreness and weakness from overexertion. In his mind, he imagined Siger iruo’s pure and innocent face. He clenched his fists, gritted his teeth, and accelerated heedlessly once more!
"Ah~!"
He let out a roar, diving headfirst into the depths of the forest, but suddenly, ca to a sudden halt!
The scene before him left him stunned.
In the forest stood a girl with long green hair and a black dress.
In her hand was a crystal-blue short sword, the tip still dripping with blood. On the ground lay five corpses in uniform, three males and two females, including so older, robust youths. All five had neat slashes on their necks, blood gushing out, staining the ground.
A completely black vulture was wandering between the corpses, pecking at the pitiful bodies, tearing them to shreds. The girl’s features were delicate, yet her expression was cold, the icy blue in her eyes intimidating. She carried a bulging bag on her shoulder, seemingly having looted much from that group.
Upon hearing the sudden stop of footsteps, she slowly turned her head, coldly staring at Su Chen.
At that mont, Su Chen felt like an arrow pierced his heart, even his breathing almost stopped. What kind of look was that, more inhuman than Leng Han, more cruel and violent than Ghost Howl, as though she had endured countless hardships, becoming utterly ruthless. Her lips were much thinner and paler than an average person’s, making Su Chen feel like they were two blades capable of cutting invisibly.
Seeing Su Chen, the girl’s expression didn’t change. She silently raised the short blade in her hand, pointed it at Su Chen, her lips slightly parted, yet she uttered not a word.
The vulture, which had been pecking, suddenly flapped its black wings, flying into the air!
Even it seed to detect the overwhelming killing intent emanating from the girl, so icy and bone-chilling...
Su Chen, almost instinctively, drew the Blood Light Sword from his back, taking a slight step back, assuming a defensive posture.
