Watching the coming and going of custors, Su Chen just propped his chin, his mind drifting, while Siger iruo, who sat directly opposite him, stared blankly at him. The usually talkative iruo was uncharacteristically silent for so reason.
"You two look like a couple who just had a fight; you seem so distant."
Xige Zhuxue sat to Su Chen’s left, facing the restaurant’s glass window.
Upon hearing her tease, the two not only didn’t laugh but beca even quieter. Xige Zhuxue giggled softly, the lingering sound containing a hint of helplessness, "Sigh, you two really are boring."
But at that mont, Su Chen, who originally wore a calm expression, suddenly had two flashes of light in his eyes!
"Du Ziteng!"
He couldn’t help but call out softly.
The two won simultaneously looked toward the handso young man entering the restaurant, then both slightly frowned.
"Su Chen, isn’t he the one who was with you that day?"
Siger iruo asked curiously.
Su Chen nodded, but his gaze remained fixed on Du Ziteng in his black tailcoat, filled with doubt. When did Du Ziteng, who ca from the East, start dressing so Western? And hadn’t he disappeared after obtaining the sheepskin scroll? Why did he appear again in the restaurant of the Jin Shili Inn?
"Hi, beautiful lady, excuse , I had an appointnt with soone~" Du Ziteng said gentlemanly to a young lady at the restaurant service counter, smiling.
The young lady, obviously still naive, blushed slightly upon seeing the handso young man, "Sir, may I ask... who are you looking for?"
"I’m looking for Bluo Immortal of the Biluo Clan."
Du Ziteng said familiarly.
The young lady’s complexion suddenly turned pale, "Miss Bluo Immortal?"
"Yes, is there a problem?"
Du Ziteng kept a beaming smile, showing none of his previous sleazy deanor. Su Chen watched, perplexed. Which face is Du Ziteng’s true identity?
"Miss Bluo Immortal is at the table in the far left corner of the restaurant."
"Thank you, beautiful and lovely young lady."
Du Ziteng turned and walked away with ease, leaving behind an imaginative silhouette. Could this handso young man be a young master of a prominent family? Why does he know people from the Biluo Family?
"He seems like a different person."
Siger iruo also noticed sothing was off. Hearing this, Su Chen looked more confused, "Yes, changed, as if he never t ."
"Are you discussing that handso guy? Sigh, it seems I’m not the only one interested in handso guys."
Xige Zhuxue deliberately said in a coquettish voice, but her seductive gaze stayed on Su Chen.
Su Chen seed oblivious; he saw Du Ziteng sitting in the corner with an exceptionally beautiful young woman, and both appeared quite at ease in their conversation.
The al was tasteless. Not because the famous dishes of Jin Shili were poorly cooked, but because Su Chen was in no mood to eat. Although Du Ziteng had only had a brief interaction with him, being so easily deceived was sothing he couldn’t accept.
He even hoped that Du Ziteng had a reason for doing this...
The night quickly passed.
When dawn arrived the next day, Su Chen awoke. He stayed in another room at the Jin Shili Inn, with Siger iruo and Xige Zhuxue next door.
Opening the window, a faint humidity greeted him; Su Chen squinted slightly, seemingly enjoying the feeling of the moist air enveloping him.
"Su Chen, you’re up?"
Siger iruo’s lodious voice.
Su Chen looked towards the source of the voice, seeing Siger iruo standing with Xige Zhuxue, both donned in form-fitting purple attire. Beside them, at so point, there appeared two curly-haired young n with an aura of heroism. Their gazes towards Xige Zhuxue were filled with sothing called infatuation.
Su Chen curled his lips, tidied himself up slightly, and also stepped out of the room.
Upon facing the two young n, Su Chen noticed that both were taller than himself. Especially the green-haired young man with a hooked nose, who had a sinister look in his eyes and a mocking curve at the corner of his mouth. The other young man with a long face was sowhat better, but his gaze seed fixed on Xige Zhuxue, never once looking directly at Su Chen.
"Let introduce you, this is my younger brother, Xige Yun, and my third uncle’s second son, Sigeru."
Siger iruo pointed to the hooked nose and long face for the introduction. Su Chen nodded slightly, acknowledging them.
"This is Su Chen, our companion this ti."
Siger iruo pointed to Su Chen for the introduction, but what she didn’t expect was that Xige Yun and Sigeru showed no interest, not even glancing at Su Chen.
Her expression changed slightly, frowning slightly, "How can you two be so rude? Why didn’t you greet soone when I introduced them to you?"
Only then did the two reluctantly give Su Chen a look, with eyes full of disdain.
Su Chen’s eyes narrowed, a chill rising in his heart. He despised arrogant and egotistical people who looked down on others, and these two were exactly those types of people.
If you don’t regard , why should I care about you?
Imdiately, his expression turned colder, but unexpectedly, this sudden change made both of them take notice of him.
"So, you’re Su Chen, the one who defeated Sigtin."
Xige Yun spoke with a darkened face and stiff tone.
Su Chen smirked, acting as if he hadn’t heard.
Xige Yun frowned, the arrogance of a noble child imdiately showing, "Don’t flaunt your pride in front of us, because your status is far from that level."
