The three of them had thought that they would be prepared for anything that Lin Fan said, but this really caught them off guard.
In their ti in this store, they had never received a mission from the master of the store before.
They had gotten used to not having any contact with the master of the store even though the reason why they were able to stay with Lin Fan was because of this master.
So now that the master actually had a mission for them, they were of course shocked.

So he quickly opened up the system interface and found that there was a map that was provided.
Though this seed natural since it was a mission to find sothing, he couldn't help feeling that there was sothing off about this map.
The route that it gave him seed very specific, as if the system was guiding him sowhere.
With how eerie this place was and how sudden this mission was, Lin Fan couldn't help feeling more and more uneasy.
The three others with him just looked at him with strange looks, but none of them said a thing.
After a long period of silence, Lin Fan said, "Let's go."
The three nodded before following him along.
None of them made a move to take the lead. It was as if they were here as observers rather than participants.
While Lin Fan didn't want to follow the route that the system gave him, it was still the safest way. After all, if he were to wander around in this place that he was unfamiliar with, it was unknown what kind of danger he would run into.
And the worst part of it all was…he didn't have any extra lives.

They went through the empty plains covered in bones for a few minutes before finally seeing sothing in the distance. Looking from afar, it seed like it was a group of buildings.
When Lin Fan checked on the map, he found that this group of buildings was on the route that the system had laid out for him and that he would need to pass through it.
However, no matter how he looked at it, it seed like it was a trap…
In the end, after hesitating for a while, Lin Fan still decided to head towards these buildings.
When they ca closer, they found that it wasn't just a few buildings, but rather a bunch of buildings. With all of them together, it almost seed like this was a city.
The only thing that was missing was the city wall that protected this place.
Then when they ca closer, they found the reason why there wasn't a city wall.
On the edge of the city, there was rubble lying all over the ground in a periter around the city.
It was clear that this was the remains of the city wall that had once protected the city.
At the sa ti, when they ca closer, they could see that the buildings were completely dilapidated and surrounded by rubble. It was as if there had been a natural disaster that had blown through this place.
But looking even more closely, they could see signs of fighting in the form of cut marks and remains of arrows. Only the arrowheads remained, the wooden shafts of the arrows had long been decayed by the power of ti.
The more they saw this, the more uneasy they felt.
It was clear that there had been sothing bad that happened here…
Lin Fan couldn't help asking the three of them, "Do any of you know what realm this is? Have you heard of a place like this?"
All three of them shook their heads.
While Lin Fan asked all three of them, his question was really aid at Momonga, the immortal Lich King. So he was disappointed when he saw that he shook his head as well.
Momonga saw this and said, "I don't know what this place is based on the surroundings, but I should be able to find so clues in the city and then I can tell you what this place is."
Lin Fan's eyes lit up, but it also quickly dimd.
He had planned on moving past the city quickly since this place gave him a bad feeling, but Momonga was right. They should try to get so information about this place so they would at least know what they were dealing with.
So with a nod from Lin Fan, they entered the city.
