Once the ball of water disappeared, this room returned to normal.
Or at least it returned to the way it was before Lin Fan ca to this place.
Seeing that all of the balls on the ground were gone, Lin Fan let out a sigh of relief.
He didn't know how he would have taken care of them before, but he was just happy that his void laws worked. After all, if his void laws didn't work, he really didn't know what he would have done…
However, Lin Fan wasn't in a rush to do anything else right now.
After he took care of these balls, he sat down on the spot and started cultivating.
Not only had those balls given him plenty of life energy to make his void laws stronger, he had also absorbed quite a bit into the world in his dantian. This had made his cultivation grow stronger and beco unstable, so he needed to stabilize himself before he did anything else.
While this wouldn't let him break through, it would still make him much stronger than before.
It took him a bit of ti to calm himself down and stabilize his cultivation, but he could feel that he was much stronger than before.
After that, he stood up and turned to the pillar with the fire symbol on it.
He didn't know what he had to do here to get to the next room, but he was sure that it was related to the pillars sohow.
After all, there was no reason to fill this entire place with pillars if it wasn't for this. So there had to be sothing that he had to do with these pillars to open the way.
But so far, whenever he tried approaching a pillar, all it did was shoot out a ball of energy at him. It didn't give him a chance to approach the pillar to analyze it, so he couldn't figure out a way out of this place.
But at the sa ti, if he didn't do anything, there was no way that he would be able to find a way out of this place.
So he had to approach the pillar in the end to see what it was about.
Luckily, his void laws had beco much stronger compared to before, so he could deal with the balls of energy that the pillars shot at him.
Taking a deep breath, Lin Fan took a step forward towards the pillar with the fire symbol on it.
Just like before, when he crossed the threshold, the pillar suddenly gathered more flas into a ball of flas. Then after this ball of flas had finished gathering, it was shot out at Lin Fan.
Lin Fan hadn't remained idle while the pillar had gathered the flas.
The first thing that he tried was moving out of the range to see if it would stop it, but that didn't work.
So the next thing that he did was rush at the pillar.
He wanted to see if he could get up close to the pillar before the ball of flas was condensed.
But he noticed that the closer he ca, the faster the ball of flas was condensed.
It didn't take long before it was shot out at him.
Lin Fan didn't panic seeing this and just calmly raised his hand to et it.
Inside of his palm was naturally the black hole of his void laws.
When the two sides clashed, Lin Fan was pushed back a step by the force of the ball of flas.
This ball of flas was stronger than anything that he had faced before, but then again, the things that he faced before were only parts of this ball of flas in the first place. The smaller balls of flas that he absorbed were all parts that ca from a ball of flas similar to the one that he faced now.
So there was no way of comparing the might between them.
But even then, his void laws had beco stronger after absorbing all those smaller balls of flas, so he didn't get pushed back completely by this ball of flas. He was able to stand his ground and soon he started absorbing the power of this ball of flas as well.
It was only a tiny bit of the flas at first, but soon there were lines of flas that ca from the ball of flas into the black hole.
The ball of flas wasn't able to push forward and it wasn't able to pull out, while its energy was being drained, so it knew that this was a bad situation for it. Sensing this, the ball of flas started to tremble as if it was about to do sothing.
But before it could, Lin Fan had already wrapped it up with a net of black void law energy.
This black net started wrapping around the ball of flas, forcing it into a single point before draining it of all the energy that it had.

When Lin Fan was done with the ball of flas, he turned his attention back to the pillar with the fla symbol on it.
He was expecting it to gather more flas to shoot out another ball of flas, but that didn't seem to be the case. It just remained idle as if it had run out of power…
So after being surprised by this, Lin Fan didn't waste any more ti standing there and quickly started moving towards the pillar.
He went around the entire pillar, but he wasn't able to see a single thing that was off about this pillar.
Well, it wasn't as if he had seen a pillar like this before. It was just that he wasn't able to tell what was different about this pillar that would make it special from all other pillars out there.
Even with his spiritual sense, he wasn't able to find a single thing.
So he could only look at the pillar with a confused look.
That is until he felt the flow of life energy again.
When he looked up, he found that there were flas that were being gathered by the pillar once more.
The mont that Lin Fan saw this, he quickly moved back and focused his mind, paying close attention to the flas being gathered.
It took no ti at all for the ball of flas to be gathered and shot at him, but he was ready. So Lin Fan just simply raised his right hand with the black hole in it and he absorbed the ball of flas shot at him.
This ti, it was easy for him to absorb this ball of flas since he already had the experience from the first ti. He even went as far as using a net to catch the ball of flas right away so that it couldn't do anything after it was caught.
In almost an instant, the ball of flas was compressed and swallowed by Lin Fan.
Lin Fan just stood there and waited to see if the pillar would do anything else.
However, he found that it just remained idle during this ti as if it wouldn't do anything else.
After waiting for a bit, he realized that this pillar must have a refractory period.
It would be able to release an attack every so often, but after that, there would be a resting period where it wouldn't be able to do anything. So it was during that ti that Lin Fan would be able to investigate the pillar.
It was just too bad that he wasn't able to find a single thing different about it.
After not finding a thing, Lin Fan decided that instead of doing nothing, it would be better for him to check the other pillars as well.
So he moved out of the range of the fire pillar and then moving carefully not to enter the range of the other pillars, he made his way over to the water pillar.
When he ca up to it, there was a blade of water that was shot at him, but this was easily dealt with by him.
In terms of power, it was on the sa level as the ball of flas and Lin Fan had easily dealt with that. So it wasn't a problem for him to take care of the blade of water as well.
But the problem was that there was nothing different about the pillar of water either…
It was as if there were no clues for him anywhere…
He took two more blades of water during his ti searching around the pillar of water, but there wasn't anything that was found.
So he had no choice but to retreat to stabilize his cultivation.
After all, absorbing all of the life energy that the pillars gave him had pushed his cultivation into instability once again. He had to sit down and stabilize his cultivation base before he did anything else.
As he sat there, he started organizing the clues that he had.
"It seems like as long as these pillars are approached, they shoot out attacks. So is it all about taking the attacks that they fire out until they run out of energy?" Lin Fan couldn't help wondering out loud.
But unless one had the void laws, they wouldn't be able to do that.
After all, when he attacked with other laws, his attacks had just been absorbed and then used to fuel an attack that tracked him down…
Wait, void laws…
Could it be that he had to use void laws on the pillars themselves?
