'What the hell is he doing?!' Keling cried inwardly when Yuan made no attempt to react to her attack.
Even if she wanted to withdraw the shot now, it was already far too late. Almost the instant the arrow left the bow, it arrived directly before Yuan's forehead.
Yet, the mont the arrow struck Yuan's forehead, it did not pierce through his skull as Keling had imagined. Instead, the arrow shattered into countless fragnts before dispersing into thin air.
anwhile, Yuan remained completely unhard, not even a scratch appearing on his forehead.
"No… way…" Keling's eyes widened with bewildernt, looking as though she'd just witnessed the impossible—sothing incomprehensible.
Her attack just now possessed enough power to destroy even a star, yet Yuan had taken it head-on with his forehead and erged completely unscathed.
Such a thing should have been utterly impossible.
"You… what kind of physique do you have? And how in heaven's na did you temper it?" she asked after a long mont of silence.
Yuan shrugged and calmly replied, "Normally."
Keling fell to her knees and released a deep sigh, "It's my loss."
Yuan approached her afterward and said, "Sorry for belittling you. If I hadn't done that, you wouldn't have fought seriously."
"It's fine," Keling replied with a bitter smile. "I'll just consider it the price I had to pay to broaden my horizons today."
She proceeded to consu a recovery pill, quickly healing her injuries and exhausted spiritual energy.
"I'll go spend so ti with ixiu now. Here's a little sothing you can do in the anti," Yuan suddenly tapped her forehead, transferring several techniques directly into her mind.
"Wha-What are you…?" Keling stared at him in a daze.
"A little sothing to thank you for taking care of ixiu."
After saying that, Yuan teleported to ixiu using Void Manipulation.
"Are you done already?" ixiu asked when she noticed that Yuan had returned.
He nodded, "Yes, we're done."
Shortly later, they disappeared into one of the guest houses available there to catch up.
While ixiu recalled her training with Keling to him, Yuan told her everything he'd experienced within the Demonic Realm, as well as the truth behind demons and humans.
"So demons were once humans… and we… we might be clones?" ixiu wore a dazed look on her face as she tried to digest this shocking revelation.
"I'm not sure how to react—if I even can—to this sort of information…" She shook her head, utterly speechless.
"However, it does make wonder what the original humans were like, and why they went extinct."
"…Forget it. There's no point dwelling on sothing like this."
In the end, the information was so far beyond her comprehension that ixiu decided it would be easier to pretend she had never heard it at all. After all, it wasn't as if there was anything she could do with this sort of information.
"How are the others doing?" Yuan then asked.
"Sorry, but I don't know. We haven't been in contact since we went our own way."
"I see…"
In the blink of an eye, three days passed.
"I know our reunion this ti has been brief, and honestly, I would rather spend a few years with you before continuing my journey," Yuan said as he prepared to leave. "Unfortunately, the Demon Sealing Clan is waiting for , and there is still far too much left for to do."
"I know," ixiu said with a gentle smile on her face.
They embraced, and after a passionate kiss, Yuan departed the world and returned to the Demon Sealing Clan's Grand Library, which could be accessed through the Myriad of Techniques.
anwhile, ixiu went to Keling after Yuan left.
"Master…?" ixiu raised her eyebrows when she saw Keling cultivating with a weird smile on her face.
"Hm? Do you need sothing from ?" Keling opened her eyes and asked after sensing ixiu's presence.
"Yuan left," she said.
"So soon? Would it have killed him to spend a little more ti with you?" Keling sighed aloud.
Although it sounded as though she was sympathizing with ixiu, in reality, she simply wanted more ti to study the techniques Yuan had given her.
"Don't bla him, Master. It really can't be helped, considering how many responsibilities he carries," ixiu said, defending him.
"I'm not. I'm just saying," Keling shrugged before standing up.
"Alright. Let's continue your training… with so slight changes."
"What sort of changes?"
"I will be training with you," she said with a smile.
At the Demon Sealing Clan's Grand Library, Yan Hara greeted Yuan the mont he entered the place.
She lowered her head, greeting him with a casual but respectful nod.
"How are your injuries?" Yuan imdiately asked.
"I'm pretty much fully recovered," she replied with a smile.
"Good. Let's go. I have a lot to tell you all."
"I'll lead you to the others," said Yan Hara as she turned around and began walking.
Inside the Grand Library's courtyard, every Demon Sealer from both the Demon Sealing Clan and the Demon Sealing Grotto had gathered together, anxiously awaiting the Divine Paragon's arrival.
"You witnessed the Divine Paragon fighting demons, right? What was it like?"
"It felt like a dream."
The Demon Sealers chatted amongst themselves as they waited.
"I wish I could've been there…"
"Don't be ridiculous. As incredible as it must've been to witness the Divine Paragon slaughter hundreds of demons, it was still a life-and-death situation where many Demon Sealers lost their lives."
"I wonder why he gathered all of us."
"I bet it's to reprimand us…"
"That's… very possible."
The Demon Sealers swallowed nervously, realizing how much they had strayed from their purpose.
Suddenly, soone shouted, "The Divine Paragon has arrived!"
Hearing this, everyone imdiately stopped talking and straightened their backs.
In the next mont, Yan Hara and Yuan entered the courtyard together.
The Demon Sealers instantly dropped to their knees and bowed toward him with utmost reverence.
"We greet the Divine Paragon!"
They shouted in unison with such overwhelming excitent that even the air seed to tremble.
