Seasons passed, in the blink of an eye, three thousand years had gone by.

Three thousand years was the awakening ti Lin Jiang had set for himself. He opened his eyes, woke up from the stone coffin, and made his way outside the cave. All he could see was a vast expanse of white.

"How can there be such thick snow in Yun State?"

Lin Jiang looked at the snow outside and was taken aback – could it be that Yun State had been covered in snow for three thousand years?

Lin Jiang glanced at the system and was amazed. The system displayed that his lifespan had decreased by three thousand years. The system’s ti was running parallel to reality, but luckily, the balance of his lifespan in the system relieved Lin Jiang’s worries.

He has lived for over three thousand years, gaining a lifespan of over one million. But his actual lifespan has only decreased by less than seven thousand years. Even after using the Burning Life Secret thod, the total ti spent is not more than one hundred thousand years, with so consumption still remaining.

Lin Jiang walked out of the cave and headed towards the area where Yunzhong City once existed. After several days, he couldn’t see Yunzhong City nor any signs of human activity.

"Could it be that all humans have perished?"

Worried, Lin Jiang wondered what had happened during the three thousand years he had been asleep. He truly had no idea.

The whole world was silent. Lin Jiang didn’t even spot any wild animals. However, he dug through the snow and found so dormant insects, indicating that the ecosystem of this world was still intact, which relieved Lin Jiang.

After searching for a whole month without finding any traces of human activity, Lin Jiang decided to go in search of where Cao Ying was sleeping.

Three thousand years had passed, and the landscape had changed vastly. Lin Jiang spent another month searching before finally locating Cao Ying’s resting place.

Cao Ying still lay in a crystal coffin. Lin Jiang chose not to wake her up, considering the uncertain situation outside. Cao Ying and the others still had thirty years of actual lifespan left.

The supplies stored in the resting place had mostly decayed, even the once top-grade treasures now rusty.

"After sleeping for three thousand years, Lin Jiang ca to visit."

Lin Jiang picked up the sword, left a ssage on the wall, and then left.

Lin Jiang wanted to see what was happening in the world, so he headed northwest towards Qing State. Lin Jiang had arranged for thousands of people to sleep in the northwest of Qing State. So of them were close to waking up because their ti was set by Lin Jiang to wake up earlier, not waiting until their life span was over.

To Lin Jiang’s surprise, he quickly got lost while on his journey. Everywhere he went was covered in snow, and other landmarks were nowhere to be found, except for so tall mountains that he vaguely rembered.

Eventually, Lin Jiang had to return to the place where he was sleeping. It took him nearly half a year to find his way back. During this ti, he hardly saw any wildlife and mostly relied on fasting to survive.

Lin Jiang went back to sleep, setting another three thousand years as the ti limit. Three thousand years was already a very long ti, but Lin Jiang wanted to make sure he didn’t miss the best ti for awakening, just like burning incense at a temple.

······

The second three thousand years passed quickly, and Lin Jiang woke up again. Just like before, Yun State was still a frozen world. It wasn’t frozen all year round, but the snow and ice lasted for most of the year. This ti, there were even fewer living creatures outside. After looking at Cao Ying, Lin Jiang went back to sleep.

The third three thousand years

The fourth three thousand years.

The fifth three thousand years.

Until the tenth three thousand years, Lin Jiang woke up again, this ti coming out of the cave, luckily, everything was lush green all around, Lin Jiang felt great.

"How did this world survive these thirty thousand years? Fortunately, I was asleep, otherwise, I would have definitely suffered from depression."

Lin Jiang sighed. Luckily, there was a sleeping technique; otherwise, living alone in this world would have surely led to depression.

Seeing that the scene outside seed similar to the cultivation world, Lin Jiang decided to explore this world further.

"Roar!"

Not long after coming out of the cave, Lin Jiang heard a tiger’s roar, and his eyes lit up instantly.

"Thanks to the heavens for allowing

to wake up as a hero."

Lin Jiang was very happy, so he followed the direction of the sound and soon saw a tiger that looked like a saber-toothed tiger.

"Kitty, co here."

Lin Jiang waved at the tiger, and the tiger pounced towards Lin Jiang and tried to bite him. Lin Jiang moved slightly to avoid getting bitten on the neck, and he extended his hand for the tiger to bite.

"Crack."

Despite the huge biting force, the tiger’s teeth shattered in the result.

Lin Jiang used to have powerful abilities and had been practicing physical training for hundreds of years. His body was extrely strong, and the tiger, not sensing any magical power, was just an ordinary tiger. An ordinary tiger couldn’t bite through Lin Jiang’s arm.

Of course, Lin Jiang was in pain and gritted his teeth.

"Bang."

Lin Jiang punched the tiger’s head, and he heard the sound of bones breaking. The massive body of the tiger collapsed with a crash.

Next, it was ti to skin the tiger and eat the at. Lin Jiang also made a tiger skin apron for himself. His clothes had turned into powder after 30,000 years, and he had been covering himself with leaves before.

Lin Jiang ate dozens of pounds of tiger at in one go. He then roasted the leftover at into jerky, and used the remaining tiger skin to make a pocket, hanging it on his body.

Continuing south for two days, Lin Jiang saw a recently extinguished fire pit, still warm to the touch. Lin Jiang was even more delighted, as using fire was sothing known only to intelligent beings.

Around the fire pit, Lin Jiang also found many footprints. Following the footprints for about twenty or thirty miles, Lin Jiang finally saw living people.

"Primitive humans?"

Looking at the group of people and horses in front of him, Lin Jiang was shocked.

The group of people probably consisted of about twenty or thirty strong n, all either covering key parts with leaves or, like him, wearing a short skirt made of animal fur. They were obviously dressed like primitive humans.

These primitive people had caught a lot of prey, each carrying a full load of things. After listening to their conversations for a while, Lin Jiang discovered that their language skills had regressed significantly. He couldn’t hear long sentences, only short phrases. But Lin Jiang was sure that their language was the Yun State language, just with a strong accent, which he could only vaguely understand.

Lin Jiang followed the primitive people all the way to their tribe and arrived near a wide-mouthed cave as it was getting dark. The location was excellent, with a mountain wall on one side and steep slopes on the other two sides, ensuring defense on one side.

They didn’t just live in caves. There were also many huts made of straw outside the caves. Lin Jiang even saw a simple fence that was enough to keep away ordinary wild animals.

Lin Jiang stood at a distance and watched for a while. These people fulfilled all his imaginations about primitive humans. They had stone tools, long hair, were barefoot, and so were hunting while others were gathering, making it feel like watching a docuntary.

The hunters brought back a big catch. The whole tribe cheered and started skinning the animals to make clothes, using bones for arrows, and eating the at.

"There were around two hundred people in the tribe, with less than forty young n. The rest were old and weak. There was a man who seed like a leader, holding a knife similar to those from ancient tis. He was too far to see clearly."

Lin Jiang kept observing and gathered more information about the tribe. They were not nurous and were weak. He couldn’t see any signs of cultivation or even martial arts among them.

After dinner, the primitive tribe gathered around a bonfire to dance and sing. Lin Jiang couldn’t understand the songs, but they sounded like howling ghosts with voices going up and down, lacking complete words, and giving off a primitive vibe.

Lin Jiang guessed that these sounds were ant to scare away wild animals, as even he found them annoying.

After four more hours, either late at night or due to fatigue, the singing and dancing stopped. Then an intense scene unfolded, with dozens of n and won engaging in intimate activities.

"Wow, do primitive people really act so natural like this?"

Lin Jiang was amazed when he saw how open-minded these caven were, they should at least be a little discreet.
