"Is Flafire No. 3 ready to attack?"

"Sir, everything is ready, the enemy will be subjected to full firepower the mont they appear."

At the central building, what seed to be ineffectual refrigerator-sized boxes were now in combat readiness, revealing their missile systems within.

Indeed, this was the base’s greatest assurance for defense. If it weren’t for Li Ang’s sudden arrival, these weapons might have already been used against him.

The personnel in charge of operating the weapons had never thought that one day these devices, designed specifically to target major facilities, would be used against a human being.

Originally, the vehicle that brought Li Ang had two people inside enjoying their Gūdōng cuisine, but their fatigue and drowsiness were completely dispelled by Li Ang’s shocking actions.

Now, they had quickly found a rooftop of a residential building to watch the grand scene unfold.

On a normal day for them, getting a chance to use a handgun was already a big deal. When had they ever seen a military operation of this scale?

One of them was completely absorbed in observing the situation, while the other had already started a video call with the boss.

"Hey, Where are you? Did you deliver the person? Rember what I said, try to find out what he’s planning, but don’t get too involved. The primary task is not to reveal yourselves."

In the video, a long-haired man, while playing on a console, intermittently leaned his head towards the phone to speak.

"Boss, it’s like this, we have already delivered the person. As for what exactly he’s doing, maybe you should see for yourself..."

The subordinate wrapped up his words and, turning the cara of the phone around.

"Is this how you speak to your boss? You better straighten up!"

In the phone, Kitada Takeshi took a second to scold the subordinate and suddenly noticed the video footage being transmitted.

"Where have you gone? Is this still within the country?"

Kitada Takeshi was so astonished he couldn’t even pause the ga he was halfway through, staring intently at the video on his phone.

"Is this the Ard Police Force? Anti-material sniper rifles? Wait, and that’s an armored vehicle? And what is that on the roof!"

"Does this chemical plant have a monster inside? Can soone explain this to ?"

From what could be seen in the video alone, there were at least a hundred soldiers present, and continuous reinforcents were still arriving.

Kitada Takeshi had originally thought Li Ang was just going to do so dirty work or maybe assassinate an important figure, but now, it seed like they were invading a military base.

Previously, he had thought about forging a good relationship with Li Ang; perhaps he might be useful in the future. Now, even if Li Ang were willing to help him, he was sowhat afraid.

"Boss, we don’t know much more than you do."

"After we dropped him off, we were both hungry, thinking of buying so Gūdōng cuisine. But when we ca out, we saw him kick open the gates of the chemical plant and then people started firing at him with guns..."

Leaving other things aside, just from the subordinate’s description alone, Li Ang’s actions considerably exceeded his understanding of that particular group. Bullets couldn’t kill him? How was this different from Superman?

The subordinate hadn’t finished speaking when the voice abruptly stopped. In what seed to be a peaceful chemical plant, a new change suddenly occurred.

Initially, a large number of weapons and personnel were concentrated at the main entrance and secret exit used by the researchers to escape. However, along an unrelated underground pipeline, a black manhole cover suddenly shot up, followed by a figure rushing out.

"Aim! Fire!"

The commander, not knowing how he chose, picked an area where the personnel defense was the weakest. By the ti they could regroup, it was rely closing the gate after the sheep had escaped.

Soon they realized that manually aid weapons couldn’t match the speed of Li Ang’s movents; it was a feat just to follow him with their eyes.

Most bullets and shells fired missed their target, and so even damaged the chemical storage tanks inside the plant.

Although this chemical plant mainly served as a disguise, to make it as authentic as possible, it was actually operational, and a leakage of materials housed there could be excessively dangerous.

"No choice, order Flafire No. 3 to fire!"

Seeing that these conventional weapons couldn’t hit the target, the commander made a split decision and gave the order.

Flafire No. 3, which had been targeting and locking onto the target, instantly fired four missiles with fiery tails as soon as the order was given.

At that mont, Li Ang, while dodging the attacks and breaking out toward the edge of the chemical plant, was about to climb over the wall when he suddenly sensed a strong crisis.

"Damn, that’s how you want to play, huh."

Li Ang turned to see missiles, capable of reaching speeds of up to 1,400 kiloters per hour, flying towards him. He imdiately abandoned the idea of running outside and turned, heading towards the nearest building.

With his personal speed, outrunning the missiles was impossible. His only option now was to let the buildings take so of the hits, trying to minimize the damage.
