When it cos to speed, "Lightning" barely managed to match Li Ang’s pace, but in terms of strength, even "Diamond" couldn’t compete with him, let alone the strength-lacking "Lightning."

Having realized that he couldn’t control the Heavy Armored Warrior at all, "Lightning" reacted, trying to let go, but in the next second, an unstoppable force propelled his body sky-high.

For a player like him who mainly relied on agility, the most dreaded situation was one where he couldn’t leverage any support because it ant he couldn’t control his movent anymore.

On the other side, "Diamond" also figured out Li Ang’s intention; at this critical mont, he forcibly moved his body close, taking the sure-hit palm strike for "Lightning."

Just when "Lightning" breathed a sigh of relief, thinking their coordination wasn’t bad, he suddenly realized that "Diamond"’s Protective Helt visor had turned red with splattered blood all over it.

After "Lightning" landed, he took a sharp intake of breath, quickly distancing himself; with "Diamond" in a heavy protective suit vomiting blood from Li Ang’s palm strike, he suspected that had it hit him, he would probably be on his way to hell already.

anwhile, the leader of the tactical unit observing from afar also sensed sothing was amiss; he had thought that deploying two special operatives would easily subdue Li Ang, but it seed far from it now.

In a two-on-one fight, they still appeared to be at a disadvantage.

"Give the gun," he said.

He motioned to a nearby operative.

The tactical unit leader had not planned to engage because once he did, it would be hard to ensure Li Ang would stay alive long enough for them to extract information.

But now the plan had obviously changed, and capturing him unhard seed almost impossible.

He now finally recalled why, before departing, Holger Geller repeatedly cautioned him not to try to capture Li Ang alive, suggesting he should execute the kill-on-sight contingency plan from the start; it seed he had learned the hard way from Li Ang.

The tactical unit leader raised his rifle and almost instantly entered a focused state.

"Boom!"

The next second, a loud gunshot echoed.

anwhile, Li Ang, who was about to deliver a finishing blow to one of them, felt his body hair stand on end, and his strong [Spirit] alerted him of an imnse danger approaching.

Since his [Physique] and Sideways Training Martial Arts had significantly advanced, it was very rare for any danger to set off such a strong response in him.

So, Li Ang forcefully stopped his forward charge, and the next mont, he felt a sharp, burning pain on the outer side of his thigh.

Without ti to observe, Li Ang quickly shuffled a few steps, positioning himself in front of "Diamond," so that he, "Diamond," and the sniper were in a straight line.

At that mont, the massive "Diamond" beca a huge wall between him and the sniper, to the point where Li Ang was completely out of the tactical unit leader’s line of sight.

Only then did Li Ang have a mont to glance at his thigh, realizing that the previously impregnable heavy protective suit had been cut open by a bullet, leaving almost a centiter deep wound on his exposed thigh.

For an injury of this extent, Li Ang barely gave it a second thought, instead feeling more satisfied with the protection his suit offered.

Whether it was the bullet that grazed him or the loud gunshot, Li Ang was certain it was that legendary Barrett M82A1 anti-material sniper rifle.

He knew very well that if it had been a regular person’s thigh, a grazed shot like that would have blasted away half the flesh of the leg; it was indeed a hit-to-kill, graze-to-injure situation.

Now, the 12.7mm bullet, while hitting part of his thigh, had its trajectory deflected by both the heavy protective suit and his own thigh’s protective capacity, leaving nothing more than a wound on his leg.

He also credited his pre-emptive sense of danger; otherwise, based on his motion trajectory, he might have been hit in the inner center of his thigh, and even his ’jewels’ could not have been spared.

Trying out the damage resistance on any other area might have been fine, but no man would use his own ’jewels’ to test that, even if he had trained the Iron Crotch.

That shot utterly aroused Li Ang’s fighting emotion. Initially, he had thought of sparring with the two special operatives, who obviously had superior physical qualities compared to normal humans, but now he only wanted to kill the one taking potshots from behind.

Even Li Ang himself unleashed all his strength and charged forward for the first ti.

The first to react was "Lightning," who intended to continue harassing Li Ang to allow "Diamond" to move aside, giving the tactical unit leader another chance to fire.

But as both of them sprinted in the sa direction, he realized that his pride in his speed was nothing compared to Li Ang’s.

In an instant, before "Diamond" could react, Li Ang’s body had already collided with him.

If the palm strike before just made "Diamond" spit blood, this collision sent him flying off his feet and through the air.
