"Boom!"

Li Ang kicked the door, causing the fra to dent slightly, while flakes of weathered paint scattered on the ground.

"Boom!"

Another kick. If the few n behind the door had not gone deaf from the concussion grenades, they would certainly wonder if Li Ang had sohow procured a large sledgehamr.

After two kicks, a gap had appeared between the cabin door and its fra.

"Boom!"

Li Ang delivered another straight kick, flinging the cabin door open and crashing it against the door behind it, creating a loud noise.

"Ahh!"

At the sa ti, he also heard a scream. It turned out that the tattooed youth who had been ambushing behind the door was knocked to the ground by the grenade and then got his leg caught by the door that Li Ang had kicked open.

However, Li Ang only glanced at him indifferently before shifting his focus to the other corners of the cabin.

The driver of the rescue boat, clutching his head, was trembling in his seat, but one person was missing from the cabin—the Exploring Team Captain with yellow teeth who had just sought refuge inside.

Li Ang first approached the groaning n and gave each of them a kick, sending them off to dreamland, then imdiately shut off the rescue boat’s engine.

After the previous incident, Li Ang had asked the yacht captain about the functions of these buttons and levers, including how to operate them. Although still a ways off from becoming a qualified captain, simple basic operations were no problem for him.

He looked around and found no other exits from the cabin, which ant that the Exploring Team Captain with yellow teeth was still hiding sowhere inside.

The cabin wasn’t very spacious; the only place large enough to hide an adult was a small storage closet on the side.

Li Ang had just taken a few steps towards the storage closet when alarm bells went off in his mind. He stopped instinctively, but it was still a bit too late.

Without warning, a sliver of the storage closet door opened, and an arm reached out, holding a grenade in hand.

Li Ang instinctively wanted to run outside, but the ambushing Exploring Team Captain seed to have anticipated this, throwing the grenade towards the doorway.

Li Ang’s astonishing reaction allowed him to change his course of movent in 0.1 seconds, diving perpendicularly to the grenade’s trajectory and landing on the ground.

There was another solution—to kick away the grenade in mid-air—a feat not too challenging for Li Ang. However, the problem was that he didn’t know how long the Exploring Team Captain had held the grenade before throwing it. If it exploded just as he touched it, it would be a sure path to death.

Thus, in the blink of an eye, Li Ang’s brain chose another strategy, a more reliable one to distance himself from the grenade.

"Boom!"

The massive explosion ensued; Li Ang, lying on the ground, clearly couldn’t escape the shrapnel, riddling his clothes with several tears.

The tattooed youth lying by the door sustained the most severe injuries. His tattoos were blasted beyond recognition, his skin going from white to a black and red hue.

Only the driver, shielded by the seat, fared slightly better, but still suffered a big gash on his thigh. Without imdiate bandaging, he too faced certain death.

Just as the n in the cabin hadn’t anticipated Li Ang’s concussion grenade, Li Ang hadn’t expected that the kidnappers would have a grenade. Who could deal with that? It was outright terrorism.

About half a minute later, the storage closet door opened again. The Exploring Team Captain, grinning with his yellow teeth, wobbled out slowly.

After entering the cabin, he had hidden in the storage closet, intending to let his followers face the first wave and then co out to finish the job.

But to his surprise, not only did Li Ang survive being shot but also possessed a concussion grenade.

Even though he was hiding in the storage closet, the blast from the grenade still left him in disarray.

The shock from his own grenade explosion added to his injuries, causing blood to spew from his mouth and nose, making it hard for him to walk steadily.

But at least, he was the last man standing.

"Like playing dead, huh? Let’s see if you can keep it up now," the Exploring Team Captain cursed at Li Ang on the ground. If not for this mishap, their plan would have been flawless.

Now, despite completing the task, only he remained of their group. Yet, the thought of dividing the bounty all by himself brightened his mood again.

He shuffled his feet slowly, pulling out a pistol, intending to shoot Li Ang again. The scene of Li Ang’s sudden eruption from his feigned death to killing three n had left a psychological shadow on him.

Even now, with Li Ang shot and grenade-blasted, he remained anxious.

However, as he was lifting the pistol, Li Ang on the ground also moved. His palm thrust forcefully, a flash of silver, and blood blossod at the junction of the Exploring Team Captain’s arm and shoulder, causing the pistol to drop from his powerless arm onto the ground.
