Fuleiia’s best friend had distinctly deep-set features, the kind of thoroughly pale white skin, and her hair was dyed sky blue. Apart from her athletic attire not quite matching up, at a glance without her clothes, she really resembled Gwen from the ga League of Legends.

What was most coincidental was that this girl’s na just happened to be Gwen too; it was unknown if she had purposely modeled herself after that character.

"Aren’t you going to introduce this person?"

After exchanging greetings, Gwen imdiately turned her attention to Li Ang.

The main reason was that Li Ang’s deanor and appearance were just too striking. Although he was dressed plainly, he did not look like an ordinary entourage mber at all.

"This is my coach, my martial arts coach,"

Javell piped up first.

Although it was sowhat curious why they brought a martial arts coach for rock climbing, since Li Ang was not a new friend Fuleiia had made, Gwen wasn’t overly intrigued.

Both of them had their own rock climbing coaches. This wasn’t indoor rock climbing, but the outdoor variety. Having several professionals on hand was very necessary for both teaching and safety protection.

After learning that Li Ang was also a beginner at rock climbing, Fuleiia also arranged for a coach for him.

While Li Ang and Javell, who were both beginners, were still undergoing basic training, Fuleiia and Gwen had already gone off to tackle high-difficulty courses.

Rock climbing, strictly speaking, is considered an extre sport. Although it might not seem as thrilling as skydiving or wingsuit flying, the inherent danger is not any less significant.

Li Ang indeed hadn’t seen it coming that Fuleiia, the epito of ladylikeness, would actually enjoy such a sport at heart.

Learning as a beginner wasn’t about getting hands-on right away but starting with an introduction to and usage of various equipnt.

This involved the tying of several types of knots, the use of harnesses, webbing, lead slings, main ropes, and other such items.

This knowledge-based learning might be difficult for the average person to grasp, but for Li Ang, it basically went in one ear and was imdiately digested and morized.

Javell had just reviewed this knowledge, while Li Ang had already completely mastered it.

Clearly, Li Ang’s personal coach didn’t believe it at all. Having worked in the field for such a long ti, he’d seen too many arrogant individuals. So people didn’t pay any attention to these things and deed them unimportant. They’d claim they knew it all, but when it was ti to perform, the coaches would have to clean up after them.

With their protection, these matters were still manageable, but they were afraid of people thinking they were proficient enough to plan their own rock climbing adventures with friends. By then, any accidents would be too late to address.

"Can you tie a few of the knots I just explained for to see?"

The coach said this, as if he were about to bluntly tell Li Ang that he still needed more practice.

On the contrary, if Li Ang rembered how to tie the most difficult knots, then rembering other simpler knowledge shouldn’t be a problem.

"No problem."

Li Ang replied confidently, his tone almost made the coach wonder if this young man really knew his stuff?

However, if he were truly a beginner, it simply wouldn’t be possible to grasp all these things in such a short span of ti. After all, it hadn’t been ten minutes since he started explaining, hardly enough ti for him to take a break.

When Li Ang got hold of the rope, his fingers imdiately began to fly up and down, almost as if he didn’t need to think or recall anything at all. In less than a minute, he had completed all of the various knots the coach had demonstrated, and his fluidity made it look like he was the coach.

"How did you do that?"

Javell asked, looking up to Li Ang with admiration.

He had been coming for quite so ti now, and only just managed to tie these knots, sotis even making mistakes.

Li Ang replied as if it were a matter of course:

"The basics are quite simple, just morize the visuals in your mind and replicate his movents exactly. For more advanced levels, it requires thinking—understanding why the ropes need to be knotted in such a way, what the purpose is. That’s about learning from the principle level..."

The rock climbing coach was left speechless; it was clear this guy was not a total beginner. Even if he had no experience in rock climbing, he must have had so related experience in knot-tying.

After testing Li Ang on a few points of knowledge and getting good answers, the coach was thoroughly convinced; this guy was definitely a top student from a prestigious university.

Since everything was mastered, the coach proceeded to take them directly onto the beginner’s route.
